Mordecai found the stuff downstairs, and started painting. He was actually a good artist.

A picture frame was jabbing his leg.

Finx and Aph shopped till Ariel and Anatasia could carry no more then raced home laughing.

Mordecai picked it up.

A cute picture of a younger Rena with a large pack or others greeted him. She was smiling happily at the painter her hand being held by a shy looking little girl with a flower in her hair. Behind them stood three older children one was clearly death and the other Lilith. There were also three more children all together there were four boys and four girls.

Mordecai upt the painting up so he could see, and began pai tiny again. Finx would love it

Finx stopped her horse "DO you sense that?" Aph nodded as her horse shied "Get to the others!" she kicked Aphs horse who took off at a run. Finx jumped from Ariel and sent her off "You want me come get me!" she pulled a sword.

Mordecai was still in the basement. Unaware of what was going on.

Aph ran down stairs and opened the door "Aunty is in trouble." Kuro and Lilith had followed her.

Finx faced a gang of lesser angels who attacked her.

Mordecai heard, and sighed. He got into a meditation stance

one of the angels started shaking, and black lines envelope him "assuming direct control." You heard mordecai's voice "you face a force, infinitely your greater."he said, standing beside finx.

"We shall help as well." Lilith took Kuros hand and together they vanished to appear next to Finx "You shall have to deal with us."

the possessed angel sent a dark channel of energ through one of the demons, causing a implosion. He then ran his sword through another. The possssed creature then faced finx." I assume you can handle the rest." He said, slitting his own throat.

Finx blinked then scowled before dispatching the other. She marched home in a fowl mood neither Kuro or Lilith could get her to say a word.

Mordecai waved to the group. "Come here! I have something to show you. "He said. You notice that the Door to the basement had been desintigrated.....and there was a half-dead angel on the ground. "Ignore him. He's not important. Kill him, if you like. "he said. He then showed them the Wall in the Basement. Using the picture, he'd remade the portrait, from the frame, to the wall.

Finx slapped him "Who told you that you could do that? Or touch my things?" she took the pictured frame "I want it gone NOW!" she looked at the painting and threw the frame at the painting then with a sob she ran off. Penelope who had come down at her raised voice hurried after her. Lilith picked up the broken picture sighing "I remember this."

"Did I do something? Should I talk to her, or...?" He asked.

"She's just upset." Lilith sighed "See the little girl in between Rena and Pen? We lost her three day after this was painted. Rena was attached to her and held her when she died."

"Anestara. I am so- "Mordecai held his stomach, like he was about to be sick. something was.....off about the aura around him.

"What's wrong?" Lilith frowned at him

Mordecai let out an Other-worldly shriek, as if a demon had literately come over him. You watch his Angel armor, and wings, come out, but something was wrong. The feathers on his wings had turned black, and instead of white and gold, his Angel armor had turned Ebony and Crimson.

(Note : A Fallen angel, in this universe, is considered more rare, and more valuable, then a mine full of diamonds. Since most of them have been cleansed, those that remain are powerful, full of self-righteous fury, and extremely resistant to damage. They are sought after as Soldiers, Breeding Material, and used as slaves for Monetary gain, and Gladiator matches.)

"Gracious whats wrong?" Lilith put the frame down her hand going to her hip.

"What......is this?.......I feel......Like I want to kill something......this power.....it feels good. "Mordecai said, staring at his hands.

"Um well save the killing till we get ren...Finx out of her room." Lilith glanced at Kuro who shrugged.

Pen come in "Onni-chan says she wants to attack now."

"She can't be that Stupid. We don't have the resources, or people, to mount a full scale war yet. Let me talk to her."he said, teleporting to finx.

Finx was sitting in her window looking darkly out the window.

"You know attacking now would undo all we've done." He said.
