I wouldn't go by any of those terms personally, but if asked I would probably say heterosexual because I'm in a long term hetero relationship at the moment and it keeps people less confused. :]

Does it matter? What is the sexuality of a lone individual in the grand scheme of things. But since you asked...

I like men

I would label myself omnisexual actually. Bisexual if I don't wish to explain it to someone.

Quote:
From the pansexual wiki:
Pansexuality (also referred to as omnisexuality)[1] is a popular term refering to the feeling that one has the potential for aestheticly based sexual attractions, romantic love, or sexual desire towards people of all gender identities and biological sexes.[2][3]
The only reason I don't use the pansexual label anymore is because I've found sexual related gatherings/conferences/events will label themselves pansexual as a way to say that all orientations are welcome/it doesn't focus on just one orientation, not that only pansexuals/omnisexuals are welcome.

I'm generally not into labels, I judge off character not off the contents of underwear.
But for simplicity's sake when people ask I say bisexual - it's quicker than ranting about labelling.

I think you should really look more into sexuality. Because, believe it or not, it's not just crammed into four little categories.

Quote:
heteroromantic: romantic attraction towards person(s) of the opposite gender
Clair would consider herself closer to asexual, as she really has no desires to have a sexual relationship with someone. I'd much rather hold a romantic relationship and skip the sex part. But, when looking for a romantic partner, I look for men- normally, I just tell people I'm straight because it's less confusing and people don't get all angry/cruel and tell me how stupid/wrong I am.

I've been in a straight relationship for almost four years, so I'd say that I'm probably straight. However, I tend to find girls more sexually attractive then guys, so I might be bisexual.

That's why I just stick with "I'm a people person". XD People are just people to me and gender or gender identity isn't something that is of importance to me when I choose to be with someone.

As much as I'm against labels of most subjects, I can say confidently that I'm straight. I just like women is all, and I'm pretty set on that.

@Clair Voyant: I know someone who is asexual and in a purely romantic and non-sexual relationship. I find it very odd when people can't accept sexualities/attractions that are alternate to what they previously understood. Probably because I enjoy learning and don't mind expanding my understanding. Silly people and their prejudices/ignorances.

@Mystic: Same. (x I never thought of labeling myself a "people person" though - probably because I generally don't like people. ^-^;; For a while I just told people "gender just doesn't matter" and "there are more than two genders you know," when they said the gender-doesn't-matter bit made me bisexual. A lot of people still don't understand outside my circle of friends. Even my mom can't quite grasp it but from what I've heard from others I'm lucky that orientation means pretty much nothing to her - she just wants grandkids. xD

@ rawcookiedough:: That's nice. I also worry, though, about my church. They'd bite my head off if I came out and said that I consider myself something other than straight. Not everyone in my church is open to the idea of different sexualities. >.>

I think that guys are HAWT! So I would normally go for a guy no questins asked. But if a girl is really hot, like REALLY REALLY hot then I would go for her before I go for the dude. I can find other chick attrictive so I'll just go with bisexual just to simplify stuff. :]

I'm not quite sure. On one hand I have never felt a romatic connection other than with a man. On the other I find the female body extremely alluring and beautiful. I also feel I could love someone no matter what gender. Then again... I don't want a sexual relationship with anybody (the idea almost repulses me) while I'm a sexual person. .-. My sexuality right now is confused.

I'm bi-sexual. ATM, I'm in a relationship with a man, but if we broke up and the right girl came along. There have been a few times we're I've turned away the opportunity for a lesbian relationship, simply because I'm loving my bf right now.

I'm pansexual / omnisexual.
I don't like to be put under the "bisexual" category because of my understanding that there is more than one gender and I'm not particularly attracted to the gender of the person, moreof who they are.
As I was told, "hearts not parts" seems to best fit what I look for. As far as a romantic relationship, I'd say I lean towards hetero-romantic simply because I have a hard time feeling romantic with a majority of girls, though I won't rule it out completely. I'm a bit on the fence with romance, but sexuality is down pat for me.

I'm not against the idea of myself being with someone of the same sex, but I've never found myself sexually attracted to someone of the same sex. So some would say that means I'm heterosexual others would say bisexual, and still others would say bi-curious. I personally feel that bisexuality is the "norm" for humans, and that most just tend to lean one way or the other. Still, if asked, I would probably repeat my first sentence and then follow it with "So I guess heterosexual."

To be honest I'm not too sure ^^;
I tend to get too awkward around most guys so I haven't really gone out with one
On the other hand, at my school, while we joke about it, if it turns out you're really
gay or bi or something else, life becomes pretty awkward and you find yourself alone
more often than not, so I've never really thought about being interested in girls.

If anything, I think I'm more into the romantic side of relationships rather than the
sexual side of them, so I think I'll settle on bi-romantic for now XD
