Ash laughed and nodded, "yes I do think your right about that. Though I amnot goin to stand between him and her tomorrow morning, I am afraid she might rip me and him to pieces." he said as he looked at Monica and then smiled at twix. "but I am happy for you. She maybe a little off the walls but I think it is a good thing when it comes to her. But do be careful, she is human even though she can tackle you." he said as he looked at him and then looked at izzy. He could feel the fight thar came off of her and something else. Maybe it was what ever gave her the ability to survive twixs touch.

Izzy groaned when twix picked picked her up, her back and shoulderstill hurt from her landlord. She then moved and rested her head against his shoulder. "jerk.." she seemed to mumble in her sleep but that was it. She dreamed of screaming at him and hurting him for this. What ever he gave her he would regreat it.

Twix stared at the pair as his gaze shifted to Izzy as she mumbled in her sleep. "Great I feel the love guys. Well I guess it is a good think I have many other potions to take care of her. If it is ok with you both I am going to put her in the spare bed room upstairs." He said as he left from behind the bar without thinking. walked up old oak carved stairs down the long narrow hallway that lead to the over size door at the end of hall. He open it and gently placed her in the bed as he covered her up. He watched her sleep for the longest time. After a while he became the fire that burned in the candle on the over sized dresser as she slept keeping watch over her to make sure she stayed safe.


"So she stays then I take it? We can't let her know about our world some thing I think you should remind him of. Study her if you like love. I think I am going to go look at some new decor for the place." She said as she kissed Ash's cheek then turned and headed to the bar as she picked up the candel and shook her head seeing how twix tried to hide it. She grind then placed it safly away in the safe box under the bar as she began to clean it.

Ash smiled and kissed MOnica back right away, "dont worry, I will tell him to keep it quiet and I think I might study her but tomorrow. I want to see what makes her resistant to Twix." he said as he smiled at her and then walked with her over to the bar, "but that can wait till morning, I will help you for now." he said and helped her clean up the bar.

Izzy groaned softly when he placed her on the bed and curled up. Her back still hurt and she wasn't very happy about being drugged to sleep. But it was good to actually sleep and know she was in a sort of a safe place. Yet she still didnt' trust staying here or anything. She just found that she felt slightly safe here, more then being at home or any other place. She stayed asleep till the sun came into her room and her eyes shot open. Right away she jumped up and out of the bed, ready for anything that might happen. This wouldn't be the first time she woke up in a bedroom she had never been in before. She looked around carefully and stayed on alert, just incase anything happened or someone tried to grab her.

Monica smiled as she giggled watching him as she shook her head. She whipped where he had just whipped knowing it would start a war as she grind at him. "Oh...you missed a spot." She said as innocent as ever knowing of all the things Ash hating for others to pick out his mistakes to him. She shook her head as her long blond hair fell to one side of her body as she finished cleaning.


Twix didn't move from the candle as he looked like any other flame. He kept his watched finding how she acted rather strange and worrisome. It reminded him of a deer being hunted he saw real fear in her eyes and also noted how she kept from anything touching her back as if it was injured. Something was not right about how she was acting he did not like it but he would not commit on it yet. He did not know the girl but she would be welcome there.

Ash smirked when he heard her and continued to clean, "well thank you for getting it." he said but you could tell it bothered him and he brushed it off. She was just teasing him and he knew it, she knew what pushed his buttons. Once they where done he looked around and when he saw MOnica he smiled, "and I think you missed a spot. its right there." he said and kissed her cheek.

Izzy crouched down close to the floor and looked around frantically. She wasn't sure if twix were like the others that had done this to her but she was going to stay alert. When she saw the door she wasn't to sure if she should take that exit, the last time she had tried she.. she didn't want to remember. There was a window but that exit wasn't good as well, she wasn't sure if she was on the second floor or not or if anyone was maning the window. As she skimmed the room she saw something, a lamp. She quickly grabbed it and then climbed under the bed. It hurt her back to do so but she knew she was somewhat safe under there with a lamp. If anyone came in they would be looking for her and if they looked under here she would smash there face or hand.

Twix tried not to say a word as he felt himself being picked up so roughly and carelessly. He glared at her as he stared her right in the eyes as she peered out from under the bed. He lost his temper as he began to grow more of a angry looking flame than anything. The glass cracked as the flames that made him up hissed as he glared at her. How rude was all he could think as he sat there wanting to inform her she was not the only living being there and he had spent the whole night watching her making sure she was alright. "Ugh stupid human!" He said before he could stop himself as he glared at her a pair of red glowing eyes appearing in the flame as he quickly tried to calm down making the fade.

Monica looked over the bar as she heard Ash. The laughed as he kissed her. She kissed him back and smiled. "No that was you again but it looks like you got it. Well should we call it a night?" She said wondering if he was ready to go home and rest for a few hours or if he had other things he had to do.

Izzy was cluching the lamp close to her but as it got bigger she got frightened and then saw the eyes. The last straw was when she heard him and threw the lamp. She then ran from under hte bed and to the closed. She ran inside and quickly shut the door behind her. She leaned against it to make sure that no one would get in and wrapped her arms around her knees. THis was all just a bad dream, probably from twix's drink or something. Or maybe she was going insane from the fear that was running rampent threw her mind. She wasn't sure but she knew that she just wanted to get out of here. But then again no place was safe for her, not her apartment or outside or anywhere. She was always on high alert, just incase something like this happened. It had already happened to her once and now again. Why did her life have to suck so much? She could feel herself shaking from everything and she placed her head on her knees.

Ash laughed when he heard her and pulled her closer. "sounds good to me, we will need to sleep for tomorrow. I will need to get up early to see if we still have Quinn with us." he said as he looked at her and then kissed her again. "now lead the way to home, love." he said as he looked at her lovingly.

Twix cursed as he shifted into his human form as his lap shattered on the floor. He rubbed his head as he held it from the pain she had caused him. "Ahh!" He screamed as he laid there on the floor then slowly made it to his feet he glared at the closet then leaped to the door as he swong the door open and hurried down the stairs he jumped over the bar as he open up the chest where his candle was and lit it then vanished to it as he tried to rest and heal himself. "I hate humans!" He said as he felt Monical and Ash leave refusing to come out of his hiding spot. Next time he would make the drink a nasty one and give her a hang over that lasted for days.


Monica smiled as she took his hand and open the door and leaped in the air as she held his hand and waited on him to join her as she flew home loving having her by her side as they flew. She did not care who or what saw her with him. He may be a demon but he was who she chose to be mated with. She loved him and wanted to be with him. She open the glass doors to their house as she walked in and smiled as she grind at him the laughed as she ran and left him there as she ran threw their house and up the stairs to their bed room wondering if he felt like a chase.

Izzy stayed in the closed and when she heard a scream she shivered more and buried her face into her hands. Fear filled every part of her and the memories of the last time something like this happened filled her. She remembered waking up in the a weird bedroom and she had been chained to the bed. She remembered trying to get away but nothing would give and then the door opened and then.. Tears spilled over her cheeks as she remembered and she whimpered softly. She may be tough on the outside most of the time but inside she was soft and scared. Scared of being alone like now and of something happening to her. She just wanted someone to care for her most of the time but she didn't trust anyone. She feared people most of the time and didn't want to be close.

Ash smiled as he let his bat liek wings come out of his back and he joined her in the air. He flew home with her and was happy to be close to her. He knew others would hate her for taking the side of a demon but he loved her. he loved her more then anythign else and would alwyas be with her. He smiled as he landed at home and then laughed as he watched her run. He quickly ran after her and when he saw her in there room he smiled, "I will catch you." he said as he moved closer to her.

Twix stayed in his presion for most of the day and came out about lunch as he finished cleaning the club and helping get things ready for the night. He walked to the kitchen and helped make a Pennie and some hot cocoa for Izzy. He even fixed her a heart shaped penutbutter and jelly sandwich for her. He plated the sandwich and chips he put on it and the cup of cocoa. He walked up the stairs and down the hall. He let out a sigh as he came to the door. He used his foot to knock on the door before entering it. "Izzy it's me TWIX!" He said as he open the door and walked to the bed. He placed the food on the bed and the drink on the table beside it. "Izzy....are you ok where are you?" He said as he looked around wondering where she had went.

Izzy had managed to fall asleep after crying for a little while. But when Twix called for her she jumped and scrambled further into the closet. She pressed herself into the deepest corner and hoped that he wouldn't come close. When she heard his voice and was surprised that he was asking her if she was okay. The last person who druged her didn't bother with that question at all. "I am fine now leave me alone, I am not coming out till you leave. I dont trust you anymore so just leave me alone. Your just like every other damn guy I know." she yelled and hoped that he would just leave her alone.

He rolled his eyes as he grind then laughed. He cut his eyes to the closet as his eyes held a slight gleam to them. A wicked grin appeared on his face as he chuckled at her words. "If you only knew. No I don't beat you or rape you or even get into your pants. I bring you food and try and feed you and give you a sleeping drink because it was obvious you where in pain and couldn't sleep. Forgive me for not raping you and beating you senseless. I'll have to work on that. Fine suit yourself you aren't a venison to look at any how in the mornings you look like a troll with that hair going crazy. I wouldn't want to come out either and see people. There is a shower down the hall and clothes in here. If you need anything I know to let you find it on your own. Forgive me I didn't know Bitch was part of the breakfast plan this morning I need to get that taken off the menu for tonight. There is enough drama around this place with out all that. To bad your stuck with me all day and all night till you get off tonight so cheer up love. I mean really I'm not that bad. If the worst thing I'll do is drug you to sleep then your doing rather good."

Izzy stayed in the closet and listened to him. She calmed down when she heard him say that he didn't get into her pants and realxed slightly. She frowned when she heard him say that she was a bitch and growled slightly. She then got up and poked her head out of the closet. "look I am sorry for everything it is just that It wouldn't be the first time that someone has raped me. So excuse me for not being trusting of you and being bitchy." she said as she looked at him and slowly came out. She actually didnt' look to bad and she was slowly growing the back bone she usually had and with it the wall that made sure no one could get close to her. "Next time give me warning if you give me something to make me sleep. I wont flip out as much, oh and I this is for drugging me." she said and hit him in the head. She was the usual Izzy again, not the one that she hide form the world.

Twix looked up as he stared at her then looked to the food. "Ah there is the girl I met just yesterday. A pleasure to have you back. Please next time you let the other girl out let me know and I'll guard my loans and every thing else. You are safe here." He said as he moved to his feet and turned heading for the door. "For the most part. Just don't smell human and act like it and your fine." He mummbled to himself as he walked to the door and stopped and looked over his shoulder at her. "I was only kidding you. You don't look that bad in the mornings. But look it got you out of that closet you where in. Please don't be afraid to come out of the closet it is better out than in. And no one will rape you here without me up their rear. I am a rather large pain not many want to deal with me." He said calmly though a slight growl came from the back of his throat as he felt his temper flair at the thought of some one daring to rape the girl.

Izzy smiled at him and then grabbed the foot and started to eat happily. She seemed to be done in less then a second and listened to him carefully. When she heard that she was safe here she could only stare and then smiled as she heard he wouldn't let anyone rape hers. She then smiled at him and then walked over, "thanks you, that means alot. Now get outa my way, I have to head to the bathroom." she said and shoved him out of the way but you could feel the care and playfulness in it as she did. She then smiled at him and headed down the hall. Once she got to the bathroom she took a quick shower and pulled on some clothing that was in there. She then headed out of there and went to find twix. She wanted to really appologize about everything. She normally didn't lose it like that it was just the initial shock of waking up in a place she didn't know. After that she was going to either play with some music or talk to him if he wanted to. If he didn't want to talk to her she would understand since she dis accuse him of violating her.

Twix stared at her as he watched her. He rose a brow then grinned as he walked down the sitars. He looked up as he noticed every member of the kitchen staff out in the main part smiling at him. He arched brow as he looked at him. "What?" He then looked to the over sized cheif as he glared at him as his fire that burned deep inside of him appeared around him as he turned into his true demon from. "Oh get back to work!" He said as he heard all the snickering as they all quickly left and slammed the door in time to miss being hit with the flower vase he had thrown at the door. He rolled his eyes as he heard their tounts still. "Twix and the human sitting in the tree Kiss and Ing...Shut up! you over grown tree stumps!" He said as he appeared behind the bar. He closed his eyes as he held out his hand and pressed it against one of the bricks as his mark appeared in the brick in a flaming mark that glowed within the brick. He smiled as the passage open as he entered his secret layer. He quickly got to work on the new concoctions and spells that he needed for tonight to sell. The human girl was right he was like every other man no not really that was a lie human males where stupid and weak and died and took things for granted that they shouldn't. He however was full of magic and had lived for as long as fire had. He himself was the element of fire it's self and knew what pain an suffering was like and that live was the most precious commonty that one could have.

He longed for Quin back or even Ash or Monica as he continued his work. He was so lonely something that he knew he should be use to but could never find a way to be. He longed to be with others and have the company of another. It had been years since he had talked or interacted with anyone than he had the past few years. Izzay was the first human in about a million he had talked to. Quin in years and Monica the one who never gave up on him and saved him from being trapped in the candle forever.

Izzy made her way down stairs but when she got there no one was there. Twix was no where in sight and that ment she was alone for now. She sighed slightly and then headed over to the dj stand and plugged it In. She started to play some music but it was nice soothing music yet it still had a beat to it. She smiled as she listened to the calming beat but shook her hips as she felt the beat. As the music played she started to hum the words To go with the music and soon was softly singin to herself. She did this from time to time to have some fun. She wondered where twix was and hoped that he would come back soon.

Ash soon woke up and smiled as he held Monica in his arms. He brought her closer to him and kissed her head gently. It was about time they head back to the club and see how things where. But before that he had to go see if Quinn was okay. He had a feeling she was alive but in bad shale. He would just bring her to Monica. Hopefully she could do something for her.

Twix stopped his work as he turned hearing the music. He arched a brow and peered from the wall as he held his hand to it making to where he could view out but none could view in. He watched and smiled as he saw how happy Izzy looked the way a human should be. He thought to himself as he shifted into his human form and appeared from under the bar. He grind as he turned his hat on right and went to getting the glasses ready for tonight leaving Izzy alone to enjoy herself.

Izzy continued to enjoy herself and sing to herself quietly. K owing that she was Sade in this place was nice and she wondered if she could call this place home. The idea of a actual home was nice, one that warmed her. She wanted to have on more then anything and the more time she spent here the more she felt like she was home. Twix was nice and she knew he cared for her. He was the only one really did and she liked him for that. So maybe this would be her new home.

Ash sighed as he made himself get up and gently tucked monica in. He made sure she was comfortable and wrote her a note saying he was going tomsee if Quinn was okay. He then kissed Monica on the lips and let her sleep as he headed put ofthere. Once he got outside he let his bat like wings come out and flew up into the sky. He flew towards the hospital and could smell that Quinn was here. She was actually okay but weak, very very weak.

Monica woke as she felt the sun's light. She turned as she saw the note and picked it up not seeing Ash anywhere. She smiled as she read the note and walked to the glass doors of their sky top home and let the sun in as she enjoyed the warm rays. She gathering her food or energy to live as she sat there in it. It was strange to most even to demons that Angels did not eat or could not milk was the only thing on earth she could live off of besides the sun. She sat there till she was full and then went to her closet as she pulled out her leather suit. It looked more like something a motorcycle racer would ware and fit her well as she grabbed her matching leather jacket with it. She leaped from the balcony after she had took her shower and clothed her self in her leather out fit. Her jacket she kept in hand and landed behind the club. She smiled as she heard the sound of her high heeled boots hit the concert and placed her jacket on as her wings vanished. She walked into the back of the club with her sun glasses own as she made her way to the front where she saw Izzy and even Twix who both looked happy to her surprise.

Izzy looked up when she heard someone come in and smiled when she saw Monica, "hey, morning." she said as she waved over to her and then went back to her music. She continued to have osme fun but when Ash came in she stopped and then looked at Quinn. She looked like she was in bad shape and right away all the teachings her parents drilled into her came to her. She walked over to Ash and then looked at Quinn, "when did you find her?" she asked and started to check Quinn over like a doctor.

Ash flew out towards teh hospital and as he got closer he landed and let his wings retract into him. he then walked into the hospital and could tell that something was going on. He asked around about what had happened and the nurse said that the one patient that had been on death row was alive and well but they had just gotten a girl that was in really bag condition and they weren't sure if they could help her. He asked right away where she was and told him that she was in room 11. Ash headed straight there and looked inside. Quinn looked as pale as a ghost and was hooked up to other machines. Ash quickly headed inside and looked at her, "come on, I need to get you to MOnica." he said as he said and then let his wings come out and flew out of the window. When he got to teh club he let his wings go away and got in. But he was surprised to see that Izzy seemed to know what was going on and what to do for a patient.

Monica kept her glasses on as she found herself staring at Ash. Her eyes shifted to Quinn. "Izzy, Ash needs some one to go shopping with him for the supplies for tonight if you be as kind to take him with you. Please look under the counter there and take the black box with you. Twix is going with you both." She said as she felt every eyes in the place turn to her as she spoke. She did not give Twix time to object he needed out of the building and in the shape Quinn was in it was going to be a while she needed the human out of the way as she worked on Quin. "Twix remember your manners." She warned as shook her head looking the girl over. " Das ist nitch so gut fur du. Her maken du fro ja? Du bis fro? Du Liebst him?""That is not good for you. He makes you happy? Do you love him?" She said in German as she asked Quin the one question she had to know. Quin had broken some of the worst rules and all in one night. Monica could save her and the human for now but it would mean pain for her to come. A war would come from this the death angles would come to claim the man soon enough and she would soon spend her days in pain after battles with them she knew. Though she would never tell Ash or Quinn any of this none here. It was her choice to help them.

Izzy heard monica and she seemed to knwo what was going on. SO she let monica have th stage with Quinn. She then saw Ash gently lay Quinn down on a table and grab the box. When she heard ashs he knew that she had to go with him and nodded as he lead her out of there. She looked back and hoped that Quinn would be okay.

Ash nodded ashen he heard MOnica and gently layed Quinn down on the table. "come on Twix, Izzy, Monica can handle this." he said and grabbed the box. He then grabbed both Twix and Izzy before heading out of there. He had to get Izzy out of there as fast as possible.

Quinn groaned when she ehard MOnica and opened her eyes slightly. "Ich liebe ihn, aber ICH cant nichts tun. ICH gab alles aber ist er sterben. Er macht mich glücklicher machen dann ich je erlebt habe aber er ist sterben obwohl ICH gab ihm einige Zeit." she said softly and then tears started to dtream down her face. She coudl do nthing but give him time and this cost. She ahd nearly died but it didn't matter. He was going to die even though she gave him so much. It was no fair, this world was cruel and no happiness seemed to come from it to her. But she was glad that she gave him time, he had time to have a little more fun and to be alive. HOpefilly he used it well even though when he died her heart would go with him.

((I love him, but I can do nothing. I gave everything but is he dieing. He makes me happier then I've ever experienced but he is dying even though I gave him some time.))

Twix followed as he looked from Quinn to Monica. He let without a word as he places his hand on the brim of his hat pulling it down as he took his first steep outside the door in over a thousand years. He froze as soon as the warm sun's light hit him making him feel alive again. He stared up at it frozen in a trance unable to think of anything as he stared at it.

Monica gave a nod as she looked at Quinn. "I understand. If I help you and heal him you would have to make me a promise. I am not the same as I once was Quinn. I am still a Arch Angle and I still hold my weapon but I do not hold the same power I once did. I can heal him and give you many good years with him but it will coast you a favor in return. If you wish for me to grant your wish you must make a oath to me. From this day forward you will protect Twix and Ash and keep them safe. You will teach them to never give up and to use their hearts and keep the good in them alive. You will be their angel and hope." She said knowing the fate that would come soon for her for breaking such rules as she was ready to do for the girl.

Izzy stopped walkig when she saw twix stop and looked at him. It was as if he had never seen the sun in a very long time and she chuckled slightly. "come on twix, we need to get going." she said as she walked over to him. She then started to push him after ash and hoped that everything went okay in there with Quinn.

Quinn listened to Monica but when she heard her aboutthe oath she knew what was going to happen. She used what little strength she jad and pushed herself away from Monica. She then looked at Monica and shook her head, "I can't." she said softly and then looked at Monica in the eyes. "they need you, even if my heart breaks without him I know the others need you. I don't want to be the only angel of hope for them. We need you still and I can't know that you gave this up for me. So no, I can't." she said as she looked down at the ground. "ash loves you and he needs you more then anythig else, twix cares about you and so do the others. They need you. So I am sorry but that oath I can't take if it means taking you away from them." she said softly
