"Plants are complicated so herbology will be complicated." Ric said to him as he took a deep breathe, rubbing his face before running a hand through his blonde hair and looking back to Shadow. "Okay let's take this one paragraph at a time." he said to him before he took a deep breath and started the whole thing over once more.

( lol I know. XD he'd chuck it at the lake instead. But maybe he'd go in and then throw it or something. )

Shadow sighed softly before listening again. "I'm amazed that you're still trying to teach it to me." He admitted. It was rare to see someone try this much. Anyone else would have given up. As he wrote things that he hadn't gotten before, he started to at least understand things a bit better. Thank Merlin. He also wasn't drifting off. Actually paying close attention to the boy.

"I just want you to stop harming the innocent books." Ric said to him as if that was the only reason that he was doing it but it wasn't, he was doing it because well he had strong feelings for Shadow and this was the only thing he could do with him alone besides have sex which they weren't going to do for a long time. Once he was sure that Shadow had gotten the first paragraph and written down what he needed to right down, he moved on to the next one, taking it slowly.

Shadow smirked. Somehow he suspected it wasn't just that. If that was what the blond wanted to say, however, he would go with it. "Thanks anyways." Once he started with the next one, he listened in. Then halfway, he dipped his quill into the ink so he could continue writing. "Should become a teacher's aid or something."

"If i did that then the teacher would be my aid." Ric said to him as he gave a snort before he moved on with the chapter, well with reading it to him, and then the only thing that was left was to explain the diagram that was in the book to him which was going to be harder then it looked considering he wasn't sure that Shadows mind could handle anymore information.

He smirked, nodding. "Then the teacher." Once they finished everything else, all that was left was a diagram. He almost frowned but tilted his head at it. Leaning in closer, Shadow glanced at Ric. "Is the diagram really needed?" he asked, trying to understand it right off. Of course, it wasn't as simple as that. It seemed complicated. He didn't want to give up right then though. He'd gotten far enough, it was possible to just finish getting that done. After all, it couldn't be That hard.

"I am not much of a people person remember?" Ric said to him as he touched the bandage on his nose with one finger, letting him know that it wouldn't be a good idea for him to be a teacher since he would probably see things more then he should about the people in his class, thus making his class pointless. "Yes it is....after all we will be dealing with this plant tomorrow in class." he said to him as he went back to explaining it to him, very careful not to go to fast so that he wouldn't have a mental overload.

Nodding, shadow turned back to his notes. Ric was probably right. It'd be bad for a seer to be a teacher. Aat least, a good seer. "Oh. Okay then I guess." He muttered with a small frown. Listening to the boy explain things, he made a small face. It was going a bit too slow for his tastes. "You know, you could go a bit faster." He commented, raising an eyebrow. He did understand so far. It wasn't like he was retarded.

"And hurt your brain by doing so?" Ric said to him as he looked her that he would want to go faster as if it was a shock and he was going to explode if anymore was explained quickly. "It is your problem." he said to him as he grinned and started to explain to him a bit faster then the pace that he had been going at.

He narrowed his eyes at that comment. "My brain will not hurt or anything by just going a little faster." It was slightly annoying how Ric thought he couldn't handle it. Shadow listened in to the explanation. He wrote down everything like normal. Finally it moved along. More to his tastes. "See? I can keep up." He muttered, shrugging as he kept writing what Ric said. Just putting it on his own words.

"You say that now." Ric said to him as he grinned, going into even more detail about the diagram and went even more faster then what he had been doing, and he said it more in the way that the teacher would then in away that Shadow could understand and once he was done he closed the book and handed it over to him. "You can't keep up, Shadow.....you never could keep up with everything." he said to him truthfully as he gathered his things together, waving bye as he started to make his way back inside.

Once Ric went even faster, he had a slightly harder time keeping up and understanding what was explained. Shadow almost scowled, slightly annoyed since he knew ric was doing it on purpose. However, he did keep up. With a few mistakes. Once it was done, he ws relieved. Now all he had to do was study and remember everything. He looked confused at what ric said. He didn't really understand what he meant by that. "Um.. okay?" He said, raising an eyebrow.

"Good bye for now, Shadow." Ric said to him as he waved, disappearing from view as he went into the castle and to the dinning hall to get something to eat before he decided to head to bed.

Travis gave a small grin and dumped his cloak on the empty seat before glancing over at his friends. "Soooo, what are we gonna do for the summer?" He asked. It was a rather exciting thing. They would all be hanging out that summer. So now they had to figure out where to go and what to do. So many options. "Want shadow to come, ric?" Slowly he had gotten used to the fact that they were dating. It was very odd still. But, they did make a cute couple.

"Well i was thinking we all just go to an island or Romania to see the dragons. what do you two think?" Lavi said to them as he grinned, he was holding Travis's hand underneath the table, just because he wanted too, he also knew that Ric and Shadow had a very rocky relationship during the school year, he wasn't used to him dating the guy but he had to accept it like Ric accepted him and Travis dating, it was only fair in his mind.

"I am fine with what you two choose to do for the summer....as for Shadow....he will do what he wants." Ric said to them in a care free way as he continued to read his book that he had just started on, it was basically his way of telling them that him and Shadow were on the outs and he didn't care what happened to him or how their summer went, after all he already lived it, and to him it was tiring having to do things twice.

Travis smiley softly and gripped Lavi’s hand. He was very glad that in the end, Lavi had agreed to go out with him. It made the school year very pleasant. Thinking about the places, he tilted his head. "Hm.. Well, dragons would be a rather exiting thing to see. But the island also is tempting since.. Well, it’s an island." he pointed out, grinning. "Maybe we can do both." It’d be cool and if they paced themselves, it was possible to do both activities. He glanced over at Ric, almost frowning. "You two aren‘t on good terms right now?" he asked, looking worried.

Shadow rolled his eyes and looked in. He had been walking past them when he overheard his name. And hearing what Ric had said, well it was to be expected. He didn’t really blame Ric. He had accidentally slept. With another male the last week. And of course, he was caught. It hadn't been his fault. He'd gotten drunk. "I'll be joining. Just gotta inform my parents. I have a private island near the Caribbean, if that helps." he offered. But due to Travis’ condition, he wasn’t sure it was a good idea.

"Oh we can appariate now except Ric but he can ride along with us so that should be fine right?" Lavi said to them as he was smiling, this couldn't be any better, they didn't have to worry about pretending to be nice to Shadow durring thier vacation, which was short lived when Shadow walked in and gave his comment, he gave a worried look to Travis but didn't say nothing on the situation. "Thanks....sounds like a plan to me, what about you two?"

"Shadow Feralis." Ric said to him in greating as he just flipped the page in his book that he was reading, the only sign that he had been paying attention to what was going on around them, he was also letting Lavi and Travis make all the plans also since they didn't need his input. They could tell if something was a bad choice by the way one eye twitched.

Travis grinned. "Yeah, he can tag with us." he agreed. He looked surprised when Shadow came in and offered his familys island. He almost frowned, exchanging looks with Lavi. This would be kind of awkward. But, they did have the chance for a private island. Maybe even get Ric and Shadow together. The other Slytherin was actually a bit tamer when with Ric. And it would give him and Lavi alone time. He raised an eyebrow at Lavi at that thought. "Um, sure. Saves us money and time looking for a place." he consented, leaning back into Lavi's shoulder. "Which one first?" he asked, wondering how much sunblock he'd have to take for the trip.

"Ricfrith Lovegood." he returned, almost rolling his eyes. He shrugged at Travis. "Whichever one you want. I just need a warning to set everything up. I need to spend the first week with the parents, so.. any time after that is fine." He advised. It was going to be his birthday at the end of the week, so they wanted to throw a huge stuffy party with all the important people in their home place. He'd have rather ditched it but he knew his family would never allow it.

"Romania first since that would be the funniest to do and then we can go to the island." Lavi said to them as he smiled, nodding at Shadow as he looked at Ric who seemed more stiff around Shadow now. "Waiting a week sounds good but that is kind of.....eh you know?" he tried to explain to them as he tried to think things through, squeezing Travis's hand, looking at him before looking at Ric, trying to let him know that Ric was in his own world and not in the conversation anymore since Shadow was around, appaerently it had been bad.

Shadow shrugged. "It doesn't have to just be a week if you want. That's just an offer. Call me or something when you want to come over." he said with a small smirk. It wasn't like he was eager to spend the time with all of them. It'd be awkward for them all. Especially since Ric was ignoring him now. Somehow, he had sort of expected that reaction. It didn't bother him too much. He knew that the relationship wouldn't last for so long. It was a miracle it lasted for that long. For some reason though, he had sort of missed it.

Travis nodded, smiling. "Romania it is. And, we could spend a few weeks there before going to the island." He looked at Ric, concern in his eyes. He hated seeing his friend so off. Even more so than usual. "How will we contact you?" he asked, frowning. None of them knew where he lived. Except maybe Ric.

"Just send an owl or something. It'll find me."

"You could just send us an owl for when we can come over." Lavi said as he pointed it out to Shadow, rubbing Travis's hand with his thumb as he squeezed it a bit, a serious look on his face when he had looked back at Ric, who had a blank look on his face. "Ah....." he let go of Travis and moved over towards Ric and hugged him, rocking a bit as he hummed a little bit and put his hand over Ric's eyes, trying to help him.

"True.. Alright." he said after thinking about it. Shrugging, he stood up to leave. He still had to go to his compartment with his other friends. Raising an eyebrow, Shadow glanced at Ric. It seemed he had dazed off. Or something worse. Lavi aseemed to have been taking care of it, and he knew when he wasn't needed. So he nodded at them. "Alright. See you guys over the summer." With that, he left.


Travis narrowed his eyes at Shadows retreating back. "Jerk." he muttered before going over to see if he could help. "Is he having a vision?" he asked, almost hoping it wasn't anything worse. All he knew was that Shadow was more or less at fault. He would hopefully not see him at all. Or as little as possible during the vacation.

"Your telling me.....seems like he doesn't even care about Ric and the time they spent together didn't mean anything to him." Lavi said to Travis as he tried what he could to get Ric to snap out of it, which wasn't turning out to well considering the fact that he was still had a blank look on his face as if he was a doll. "I think he is having one.......but i don't know what to do....." he said to his lover, genuinely concerned about their friend.

Travis sighed, looking Ric over. "Damn it... Maybe it's cause we also were all rawr to him without being, actually rawr?" he asked, a slightly cute confused look on his face as he thought about it. He did know that Shadow hated acting all, sweet around others expect Ric. And the fact that they were there might have made it worse.

"That may be so but he is still an ass for not even caring about him." Lavi said to him as he growled a bit, his cat eared hat showing how pissed he was at the moment as he just picked Ric up and forced his eyes closed, he didn't know what to do anymore, all he could do is hope that he was sleeping and that while they waitted for the owl that they would have a good time when they are all together even if they didn't like Shadow.
