The gold system is better, supporting more detailed posts than "text talk."
The equipment system is far better, and doesn't thrive nearly as much on greed by letting you use an item twice. Also it's not so overwhelming when it comes to the sheer amount of items.

General chat isn't so nonsensical, I can feel that I can actually chat about things here. Also no more picdrops.
People actually try to follow the TOS, and the average age is most closer to mine.
In general, the community is nicer. Although places like Music and Extended Discussion could use some work in the "taking an opinion" end.

I like Gaia better. It's easier to earn gold, and in my opinion has nicer items. You can even create a dream avatars where you can try on items all at once to see how they go together. You can't do that here unless you donate money.

I prefer Mene, never really settled into Gaia. It was just 'cuz all my friends
hung out on there, but meh. It got boring fast, and mann it lags my computer
soo much. :\ I don't really like the main-stream rules for RPing there, you have
to have your posts with pictures and colors and all kinds of bbc, at the time
I knew none of that! :sarcasm: So yeah, here it's wayyy laid back.. c:
Even though I wish we had the ability to add pictures with limited size if
we wanted to.. ;x
