Usami continued to carry Misaki up the stairs as he felt the boy begin to struggle. Walking back down the stairs he moved Misaki so that he was being carried bridal style. He then took him back up the stairs as he began making his way back to his room. This was going to happen one way or another.

"Usagi-san. Could you please put me down?" Misaki asked. Sure, the way he was being carried was better. But the brunette still preferred to be on his feet. So, he would feel better if the older man set him down.

Usami looked down at Misaki and smiled at him. "No," he replied flatly as he continued to walk up the stairs and into his room. Kicking open the door he dropped Misaki down on his bed and then began to climb on top of his bed, as a devilish smirk played along his handsome features.

Misaki glared at Usagi when he was dropped on the bed. He automatically stood to leave. There was no way the brunette was dealing with the older man tonight. He was to tired and didn't want to deal with whatever thing he wanted to talk about. Whatever it was could wait until morning.

Usami saw that the brunette was trying to get up from the bed to leave. Stepping front of him he pushed him back down onto the bed as he pinned his wrists above his head. "Stop it," said Usami in a more commanding tone. "I am not going to buy that you just happened to fall asleep with my shirt over your face. You have to be doing this on purpose." He was pushing a matter that he knew was useless, and clearly he wasn't seeing eye to eye with the other male.

Misaki wasn't expecting to be pushed back onto the bed and being pinned. His eyes narrowed into a glare. "Doing what on purpose?!" he asked, confused. What was he doing that he shouldn't be? "And I told you. I was cold and that was the only thing that was close." the brunette stated, trying to get his hands free so that he could push the older man off him.

"Stop playing dumb," said Usami as he looked at the brunette. It dawned on him that maybe Misaki really didn't know what was going on. Getting off of the brunette he let out a sigh. "Fine maybe you don't understand what is going on. Let's just talk a little bit okay?"

Misaki was relieved when Usagi got off of him. That was much better. And he knew that it showed on his face. "What do you want to talk about?" the brunette asked. As long as it wasn't embarassing, he'd answer.

Usami thought about it for a while. He needed to think of something to say. "Misaki," said Usami as he looked over at the brunette. "What do you think about us? You know are we more than friends or anything?" He really didn't know what he was saying, but he needed to know the truth.

Misaki thought about it. "I don't know... I don't think we could be anything more than friends. Your my brother's best friend. So its hard to think of you as anything other than that." the brunette said. Plus, he was sure that he and the older man wasn't even friends. He was just a freeloader staying at his place.

Usami couldn't even believe what he was hearing. Did Misaki really think that after everything that they had gone through that they were still just friends. This was absolutely absurd. "Is that what you really think, Misaki?" asked Usami as he looked at the brunette. "That we have nothing? I was your brother's friend. That was indeed no lie, however, he never cared for me in the way that I cared about him. It was unrequited. I was a fool to think that anything would come of it. I was more worried about you honestly after the accident, if you could believe it. So that was why I always watched over the two of you." He hoped that the brunette in front of him understood what he meant when he said this to him.

Misaki stayed silent as Usagi was speaking. Yes. That is what he really thought. "Yes. That is what I think. Though I doubt we're even that. Your ten years older than me and we have nothing in common. So I really can't believe that you really care about me." the brunette stated. Besides. It was the older man's fault that he didn't have any friends. If he really cared, he wouldn't have done that.

Usami thought about what Misaki was saying. He suddenly felt bad as well. He totally had nothing in common with the brunette in front of him. It was clearly a one-sided relationship that he wanted to happen. He felt suddenly ashamed of himself as well, hurt, and some anger, at himself, for not seeing this before it escalated out of control. "If we have nothing in common then, show me some things that we like. Like you said we are going out tomorrow after school. Take me places that you like to go to," whispered Usami softly. He knew that he was grasping at straws right now, but he was a hopeless romantic at heart.

Misaki thought about it. Then the brunette nodded. "Alright. I can do that." he said. He would make a list tomorrow during class. "Now. Can I go to bed? I'm tired." he added. He stifled a yawn and stood. He really should be getting to bed or he was going to be exhausted tomorrow.

Usami nodded as he heard the brunette say that what he said had been a good idea. He decided as he saw Misaki begin to get off of the bed that he was no longer going to force himself onto him anymore. He was going to go at this from a different angle, and see how it would work. "Go ahead," said Usami. "I have a meeting tomorrow, so I should be getting to bed as well."

Misaki nodded. "Sleep well, Usagi-san." he said. The brunette smiled at him before going to his own room. He changed into his pjs and slid into bed. It didn't take to long for him to fall asleep.

Usami watched as the brunette walked out of his room. After he made sure that he was gone he closed his door, stripped down and then redressed in his pajamas before climbing into his bed and then going to sleep almost instantly. Usami rarely dreamed, but this night he dreamed a rather peaceful dream.

Misaki was up bright and early again. He made some coffee before getting started on making breakfast. He decided on scrambled eggs and bacon. So he got started on that.

Usami woke up the next morning in a rather foul mood with a splitting headache, but he still managed to get up and get out of his bedroom. He dressed quickly and then walked down the stairs to smell the delicious smell of cooking bacon and eggs. "Good morning, Misaki," said Usami as he looked at the brunette. "What time do you get out of school for the day so I can plan accordingly."

"Good morning, Usagi-san." Misaki said, smiling when he saw the older man come down the stairs. "I get out about 3, I think." the brunette said, finishing cooking. He put the food on two plates and set them on the table before pouring them both some coffee. Then took a seat at the table and waited for the other.

Usami looked up from the paper that he was reading, it was on the table from last night. Usami looked up though when he heard that the brunette got out of class at 3. "That works out perfectly," said Usami. "My meeting is from 1:00-2:30 in the afternoon. I could swing around and pick you up at your school, unless you want to take the subway and meet me back at home then we can leave." He knew that a lot of the students didn't talk to him because of Usami. The last thing, if he wanted the relationship to work, was to mess something up.

Misaki thought about it. "I'd rather take the subway." the brunette stated. Usagi's already caused enough trouble for him by being at the school. So he didn't want to make things worse. "Breakfast is ready, by the way." he told the older man. He was getting tired of waiting for him so that he could eat. He needed to be getting to class soon.

Usami nodded his head as he looked at the brunette. He figured that would be the others response. He knew that he had caused an awful lot of trouble for the brunette by coming to drop him off and pick him up in his red sports car. Walking over to the kitchen he sat down and began consuming the food. "Alright then," said Usami. "I will be waiting for you at home then. I can't wait to see what you have in store for our little excursion into town."Usami hoped that that didn't sound sarcastic at all, he really wanted to go. He wanted to see what the brunette liked to do, so then he could cater more towards his needs.

Misaki began eating once Usagi had taken his seat. The brunette couldn't tell if the older man was being sarcastic or not. So he didn't ask. He finished eating quickly before taking his plate to the kitchen and washing it quickly. He really needed to be going. "I'm leaving now, Usagi-san." he told him, grabbing his bag, pulling on his shoes, and running out the door.

Usami watched as the brunette sat down in front of him and then they both began eating. There was not much talking while they were eating. His mind began to wander a little bit, but then he was thrown out of his mental musing when he heard the brunette say that he was going to class. "Alright," said Usami. "Have a good day." He had to still take a shower and get into something more presentable. He had another meeting with his editor and his publisher, so he had to at least look nice.
