Misaki watched Usagi, wondering what he was thinking. But then figured it would be better if he didn't know. The brunette thought about the older man's suggestion before nodding. "That sounds great!" he exclaimed. But after that they would need to leave. As much as he didn't want to. "Lead the way." He would, but he had no idea where he was going.

Usami nodded as he took the brunette's hand again as he looked at the map to make sure that they were going in the right direction. As he walked he weaved in and out of the lines of people until they came to be standing in front of a wide glass enclosed area. It was rather cold near the area, but that was because housed inside the exhibit, on the other side, were penguins and their new babies.

Misaki's eyes looked around as they walked. This place was huge! And it had so many things he wanted to see. But, that would have to wait for another time. The brunette noticed that they were at the exhibit when he felt the cold. He looked in the case and his eyes widened at the penguins and their babies. They were so cute!

Usami walked over to the glass as he saw the small penguins running around and splashing around in the water. He smiled as he looked at the awe in the brunette's eye. He looked at a pair of penguins in the exhibit that were splashing around in the water. Placing his hand on the glass he closed his eyes as a sudden onset of a migraine came in. He grimaced though as he opened his eyes and was greeted by the blinding white of the snow covered exhibit. That was the last thing that he needed. Turning to Misaki he looked at him and said,"I am heading to the restroom, can you wait here?"

Misaki leaned close to the exhibit, taking it all in. "Alright." the brunette said, not really hearing what Usagi had said. Though it wasn't like it mattered. He wasn't going to be going anywhere as long as he could watch the cute baby penguins. He would stay here as long as he possibly could. Nothing could drag him away. Except maybe Usagi.

Usami made his way over to the bathroom. Doing what he needed to do, he walked out of the bathroom as he was deep in thought. He bumped into someone, and turned towards the person to apologize to him or her. Looking up he stopped and stared at the figure in front of him with surprise. It was his older brother. Haruhiko Usami.

Narrowing his eyes again he looked at his brother and said,"What are you doing here?" They had never gotten along with each other. Glaring right back at him his brother looked at him and said,"That's not very nice, saying that to your own brother."Usami rolled his eyes as he turned his back the other way and began walking towards Usami. Thinking better of himself though he stopped and lit a cigarette, knowing that his brother didn't like his smoking. The last thing that he wanted to do was for his older brother to meet Misaki.

Misaki stared at the penguins for a while longer. But then the brunette realized that Usagi was taking a very long time to return. Concerned, he went looking for him. When he found him, a small smile formed on his face and he went over to him. "Usagi-san. What's taking so long?" he asked, looking up at him. His eyes narrowed slightly when he saw that the older man was smoking. He hated when he did that. But, it wasn't like he could stop him, now was it. He crossed his arms as he waited for an answer.

Usami continued to smoke the cigarette that he had in his hand. His brother wrinkled his nose in distaste as he walked away. He turned around and looked at the other male and said,"I will go for now, but father wants to see you soon. Lunch with him and I tomorrow?"Usami knew that fighting with him and his father was useless so he just stood his ground, but nodded his head showing that he understood. Haruhiko narrowed his eyes at the dismissing tone in his brother's voice, but didn't pay it any mind. He did have a schedule to maintain.

He then saw Misaki coming over. He saw the look on his face, and immediately knew why. He was smoking again, and the brunette didn't approve of it. Rolling his eyes he went to a nearby public ash tray and put his cigarette out. "Sorry that took so long," said Usami as he looked at the brunette. "Did you enjoy looking at the penguins? Are there any other places that you want to go?"

Misaki felt better once Usagi had put the cigarette out. He nodded to the question. Yeah. I enjoyed looking at them. Now I want to get something to eat. And I already know where I want to go." the brunette said. There was no way he was going to let Usagi be the one to pick the restaurant. He always picked some place that made him feel awkward. So this would fix that.

Usami nodded as he looked at the brunette. "Alright,"said Usami. "Sounds good to me," He was going to let Misaki choose the restaurant anyway since this was his date. Taking the brunette's hand in his own he led him out of the aquarium and towards his car. Unlocking his car he slid into the driver's side seat and started the car as he buckled his seat belt. "So where are we going?" asked Usami.

Misaki didn't mind when Usagi took his hand. He followed him out to the car and got in the passenger's side. The brunette thought about it for a moment before telling the older man the directions. It shouldn't take them to long to get there, so he just leaned back in his seat and waited. He could hear his stomach growling, so he hoped they got there quickly.

Usami nodded as he drove out onto the freeway to their destination. He heard the brunette's stomach growl softly as he glanced over at him and smiled. They knew that they would get their quickly. He figured it was some kind of a small diner by the name of it, and this was most certainly somewhere where Usami would want to go to eat, especially with his special someone.

When they arrived, Misaki led the way into the diner. It had tiled floors and red plushy chairs and booths. The brunette led Usagi over to a booth near the back and a waitress came over and handed them some menus. Then told them to order when ready before leaving to check the other customers. He took the menu and looked it over, kinda knowing what he wanted to get.

Usami parked the car as he looked at the place that they would be eating. Parking the car he got out of it and let Misaki lead him to the diner's entrance. Walking into the diner they were immediately escorted back to the back of the diner. A menu was placed in front of him, and he looked at it. A lot of the dishes in front of him were different to him. He had no idea what he wanted to get. Looking to Misaki he smiled at him and said,"There are so many delicious sounding foods on the menu. What would you recommend?"

Misaki thought about it. "Everything on the menu looks good. But I think I would like Curry or Donburi." the brunette said. He thought about it a bit more and when the waitress returned he settled on Donburi and some tea. She nodded before turning to Usagi for his order.

Usami listened to the brunette say that he would either like to have the curry or the Donburi. He smiled a little bit when he heard the brunette tell the waitress, that had come back to ask for their order, that he wanted the Donburi. He nodded his head when it was his turn, and said that he wanted to the curry with some tea as well. He figured that at least he could share his curry with Misaki. She nodded as she walked away and put their order in. Once she was gone he looked around the room noticing that families that were laughing and having fun. He wondered briefly about his own life. If he had been his father's legitimate son, or if he had spent more time with his mother. What would be different? Thinking about his own family life made him feel rather depressed, and he let out a sigh as he looked at the people again.

"Is something wrong, Usagi-san?" Misaki asked. He could tell that something was bothering the older man and he wanted to make him feel better. This wasn't a time for the other to be sad. The brunette would do anything to help. If it was the restaurant he picked, then they could go someplace else. That would be fine. There were plenty of places that they could go to. It didn't have to be here.

Glancing at Misaki he blinked a few times as the question that the other male had asked registered in his mind. "No," said Usami flatly. He then smiled at Misaki to show the other male that there really wasn't anything wrong. He hadn't really thought about in a while, so he didn't have time to decide if his thoughts were good or bad yet. The waitress brought over their food as she poured their drinks. She took one look at him, and did a double take."Are you Akihiko Usami?" she asked as she looked at his face. Usami's eyes widened a little bit and he looked at the woman surprised. Smirking at her he smiled and said,"I'm sorry, but I think you have me confused with someone else." She looked rather embarrassed at that, and walked away to go take care of the other patrons. Usami let out a sigh after she was gone as he began to eat quietly. Amazingly so, he really did enjoy the taste of the curry.

Misaki nodded, glad that nothing was wrong with Usagi. Though he was a bit surprised that Usagi denied who he was. "Why did you tell her you were someone else?" the brunette asked, clearly confused. He began eating as he waited for an answer. His food was pretty good and he made a mental note to come here again sometime soon. Whether by himself or with the older man. Either way was fine.

Usami looked at the brunette as he took another drink of his water. "I didn't want to say anything to her about being the author that she was talking about. The last thing on our date right now that I need is for people to swarm our table. I want this to be just the two of us. Besides, I've said that loads of times." He took another bite of his curry. He decided that he would change the topic as he said,"Do you want to try some curry?"

Misaki ate in silence as Usagi was speaking. What he said made sense. He thought about the question before nodded. "Sure." the brunette said. "Do you want any Donburi?" he asked, not wanting to be rude. Besides, he had plenty so it would be no problem to share with the older man.

Usami looked at the brunette and smiled as he took some and placed it on his fork and held it out to the other male so that he could feed him. Pulling the fork away, once the food was eaten off of it, he looked at Misaki and smiled as he nodded his head. He had never tried Donburi before. He didn't even know what it even was to be exact. "Sure," said Usami as he smiled at Misaki.

Misaki took the bite of food that offered to him. When Usagi nodded, he held out a bite to the older man. Once it was eaten, he went back to eating, finishing soon after. If he ate any more, he would explode. The brunette waited for the other to be finished as well so that they could leave.

Usami leaned forward as he took the food that was offered to him as he chewed thoughtfully. It was actually really well prepared, and it was bursting with flavor. He smiled as he chewed on it thoughtfully. He then swallowed and smiled at the brunette. "That was really good," said Usami as he smiled at the other male. He saw that the other was finished eating, and then he looked at his own plate and finished the rest of his food quickly. Looking at the brunette he got up from where he was sitting and said,"Are you ready to go Misaki?" They paid at the front of the restaurant by giving them their table numbers.

Misaki nodding. "Yeah. I am." he told him as they paid. "We have just one more stop before we can head home." the brunette added. "I want to ride the ferris wheel and look out over the city." He wanted to see the city at night from a high place and that did seem like it was the best way.
