Usami looked at the brunette before he began to drive as he leaned over and gently kissed the other male on the cheek. Leaning back over he started the car and drove it out of the condo parking lot and into the sun of the afternoon. "I know I didn't," said Usami as he looked at Misaki through the corner of his eye. "I wanted to though because it was you. We are also going to see that movie that you talked about wanting to see, and then we are going out to dinner after we do some shopping if you want to."

Misaki blushed lightly when Usagi kissed him cheek. Though the brunette turned away so that the other man couldn't see. He was touched that the other would go through so much trouble for him. But it also made him feel a bit bad. He wasn't used to people spending money on him. Other than his brother of course. "That sounds good." he told him, smiling slightly at him.

Usami smiled when he heard that the brunette would be happy going with him to such places. He hadn't had company in a while since he rarely went out a lot. Nor did he ever have another person living in his house. Making a sharp left turn they found themselves in front of a nicely lit diner. "We're here," said Usami as he stopped the car and turned it off.

Misaki stayed silent during the ride, feeling a bit uncomfortable. But since this is what Usagi-san wanted to do, this is what they were going to do. When they stopped in front of the diner, the brunette unbuckled his seat belt and slid out of the car. The place didn't look to bad, so maybe this was going to be ok after all.

Usami slid out of the car as well and walked towards the entrance to the diner as he opened the door and stepped in as he held the door open for Misaki. Immediately, a woman came towards them and took them to a booth. Sitting down at the booth Usami looked around the small diner. They weren't that busy so that was a good thing. Looking at the walls he smiled as he saw all kinds of little knick knacks and old toys that brought back fond memories of his childhood before everything went to Hell. Another waitress came over with two menus as she set down two glasses of water and walked away. "Is this alright for you, Misaki?" asked Usami as he looked at Misaki.

Misaki followed Usagi into the diner and smiled slightly at him when the other held the door open for him. They followed the waitress and the brunette took a seat in the booth. He looked around and took a small drink of the water that was placed in front of him. "This place is just fine." he told him, smiling at the older man. This place is a lot better than what he was expecting. So this was good.

Usami smiled when he heard that. He was so glad that the brunette was enjoying the time that he had with the other male. Opening his menu he looked at the different kinds of food and found himself at a complete loss. He didn't know what half of this the names were. He was used to fancy menus and food. Not to mention the food was in "diner lingo." Closing the menu he looked at the brunette and decided that he would order whatever the brunette ordered.

Misaki looked at the menu for a moment. When the waitress came back to take their order, he just got a burger and fries. That was the first thing he saw on the menu, so that was what he was going to go with. It didn't matter to the brunette what he ate. He just wanted something to eat. He was starting to get hungry.

Usami watched as a waitress came towards him to which he allowed Misaki to order first. "I'll take an order of that as well," said Usami as he smiled at the waitress. The place around them began to get a little busier and Usami couldn't shake the feeling that people's eyes kept wandering over him. He couldn't go anywhere without people staring at him. Hopefully, the staring wouldn't get too bad.

Misaki sat in silence, staring at the table. He could tell that there were people looking at Usagi. And he tried to not let it bother him. Though there was a part of the brunette that was bothered by it. He didn't let it show though. He didn't want Usagi to see that it was bothering him. He didn't know why it did though.

Usami let out a sigh as he felt more eyes drift on him again. It was like they had never seen a famous author before. He let out another sigh, this time of relief, when he saw the waitress come by with their plates of food. "Dig in," said Usami as he looked at Misaki and smiled. He hoped that everything would be alright with their meal. The last thing that he wanted to do was make the brunette uncomfortable.

Misaki smiled back when Usagi smiled at him. He picked up his burger and took a bite. It was pretty good. He ate it in silence, not knowing what to say. It was so hard to start a conversation with the older man. It would help if he actually read one of the other's books. But he never got around to it. He would have to do that tomorrow.

Usami smiled at the brunette as he saw that he liked what he was eating. His eyes widened a little bit when he noticed that the food he was eating was quite good. Even for "commoner" food as he remembered his father calling it it was still quite delicious as well. Usami began eating some of the French fries right now. The conversations around the two of them was getting rather animated as he continued to eat. Though people were no longer looking and staring at him.

Misaki continued to eat. A short while later, he finished and stared down at the table. The brunette watched the older man through his eyelashes. He really didn't want to be caught staring. That would be embarrassnig.

Usami saw that the brunette was finished with his meal. Checking his watch it said that they had about an hour to get to their intended theater, that was plenty of time. He noticed that the brunette kept looking at him through his eyelashes. He smiled at that as he finished the rest of his meal. Turning to Misaki he said,"Are you ready to go or do you want anything else?" The waitress, seeing that they were both done with their meal, came over and brought them their check.

"Yeah.. I'm ready to go.. And no, I don't want anything else." Misaki told him. If the brunette ate anything else, he felt like he would explode. Though it was worth it, seeing as how the food was good. Though he really wouldn't have minded cooking back at home.

Usami got up from the table and walked over to the cash register paid as he felt eyes begin to wander on him again which made his skin crawl, and then he left through the front door of the restaurant and got into his car as he started it. He wanted a cigarette so bad, but he promised that he wouldn't smoke around Misaki anymore, especially not today. He let out a sigh as he felt the paranoia leave him as he waited for Misaki to get into the car.

Misaki went into the restroom while Usagi was paying for their food. He washed his hands and face. The the brunette stared into the mirror for a few minutes. By the time he came out, Usagi was outside waiting for him. And since it would be rude to keep him waiting, he headed out and slid into the passenger's seat. Then turned to the older man. "So.. Where are we going next?" he asked.

Usami looked at the brunette that was sitting next to him. He looked at Misaki as he said," We are going to the movie that you kept talking about all the time." Usami started the car and then pulled out of the parking lot and then drove to the theater. He parked the car again as he looked at the brunette and then leaned over and kissed him.

Misaki nodded to what Usagi said. "Alright. Sounds good." he stated. He remained silent for the rest of the ride. When the car stopped, he was about to get out of the car when the older man suddenly kissed him. The brunette froze, not expecting it. Also, his face turned light pink. He jerked away from him. "W-Why did you do that?" he asked, stuttering slightly.

Usami looked at the brunette as he pulled away. He hadn't meant to kiss the brunette, but he had just looked so darn kissable when he was sitting there. He looked at him as he said,"You just looked like you needed it, and I just wanted to show you how much I care about you. Now come on we need to get into the theater before the movie starts." Usami got out of the car as he closed his door and waited for the brunette to get out of the car.

Needed it? How could he look like he needed it. Misaki was confused by that. And how does doing that show that Usagi cared about him? The brunette had thougth that the older man was in love with his brother. He wasn't sure that could change so soon. He unbuckled and got out of the car, closing the door behind him.

Usami watched as Misaki closed the door as he pressed the lock switch to lock the car as he entered the theater. He got the tickets that they needed and then walked to the concession booth as he looked at the brunette and said,"The movie is rather long do you want any candy or anything?"

Misaki thought about it. "No thanks. We did just eat, after all." the brunette told him. There was no way he was going to be able to eat anything else. More likely for the rest of the day. If he did, he would just explode from it all.

Usami nodded as he took the tickets to the person that was standing there. Handing the other male the tickets he said that the theater was down to the left, and that it was the last one on the left. Usami began to walk towards the room as he took Misaki's hand in his own. Once in the actual movie showing room he sat down around the middle and waited for Misaki to come and sit by him.
