I think I got a notification pm because I won an auction, but I can't access the pm. I go to my inbox but there is no new message there. But my Mail and Notification thingie continue to light up and say I have 1 unread pm. What should I do? :gonk:

You've tried the usual trouble-shooting of clearing your cache and trying in another browser to see if the problem follows?

Sometimes I get the odd rogue PM that doesn't actually seem to exist. I don't have anything useful to add along with that comment though. /unhelpful

This may not work, this has never happened to me, but here's an idea. At the purple bar at the top of your inbox, right next to where it displays the number of all PMs you have, click the box, then at the drop down menu below your inbox choose "mark as read." Not sure if that "check all" box will affect your invisible PM, but it's worth a shot.
