I wasn't sure if this would fit here or in Media, but I decided this seemed more the place. Anyway, what are your 5 favorite musicals and/or concert films?
Mine would probably be:
Repo! The Genetic Opera
Live!Tonight! Sold Out! (the Nirvana movie)
Yellow Submarine
Allegro Non Troppo
Pink Floyd The Wall
I would have thrown in Wild Zero somewhere, but even tho Guitar Wolf are central characters in it, it's still mostly a zombie movie.

I'm not so much a fan of musicals but there are a few that I adore and will have a song stuck in my head for a while.
Les Miserable
Repo! Genetic Opera
Dr. Horrible Sing-a-long Blog
Heavy Metal (I love this one so much)
Jesus Christ Super Star

Music orientated moves are not typically something I enjoy, so I'm not so sure if I can get five. But lets see anyway.
1. The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
2. Hairspray.
3. Grease.
4.Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.
Hm...I think that could be it...

It seems apparent to me after reading this thread that I need to watch more modern musical movies.
The ones I can think of that I like include in no particular order:
The Sound of Music
Mary Poppins
Singin' in the Rain
My Fair Lady
The Wizard of Oz
And I like a lot of the classic Disney animated movies with music as well.

Pff, Phantom of the Opera and Mamma Mia. Those are the only two I can think of.
Looking back up at everyone else's posts, I have to add Wizard of Oz and more recently Singin' in the Rain (I just watched this for the first time in class last Thursday). Moulin Rouge would count in my repertoire since someone mentioned Chicago. Sound of Music and Grease are good as well.

Dancer in the Dark is the only one that I'll ever need. Oh, how I adore Bjork. ♥

Also Across the Universe was pretty good..even though they messed up some lyrics. :/
They should NEVER mess with Beatles lyrics..

I did like AtU, but the renditions of the songs weren;t all that great, I just liked it because Joe Anderson is so pretty.
