Roxas was surprised when Maria dragged him out of the club. They just got here, so he really didn't understand why they were leaving already. It didn't make sense. "What undesirable people? Why do we have to leave?" the blond asked, clearly confused about the whole thing.

Maria stayed silent and just kept dragging him away from the club. When they had gone a bit from the club she quietly said, "Vampires have good hearing. Always remember that." She let him go but didn't stop walking. When they were almost back home she stopped. "Fang's second was in the club. Which means the rest of them were there somewhere too. We should go back inside. They will have to go back to their den soon and we don't want to be outside then. They'll know by now that we were there and we don't want them following our scent out here."

Axel followed behind them and listened when Maria spoke. His eyes narrowed when he heard what she said. Their still here. He wanted to go the club and personally throw them out. This was his town! But he needed to watch his people. He would send some of his family to take care of it. He rushed around to the back and quickly went inside. He gathered together five of his best fighters and sent them to the club.

Roxas let Maria drag him away from the club, still a bit confused about why they were leaving so soon. Then his heart stopped for a moment when he heard that they were still here. Then it started pounding. The blond agreed with her. It would definitely be best to go inside and away from those psychos.

Maria walked to the front doors and smiled at the two guards. She watched as Ice ran off, probably to find Axel and tell him about the club, then turned to Roxas. "I'm sorry but I have to go. I need to go change and then help the others with the cleaning." She turned and ran off waving over her shoulder. She ran to her room and quickly changed. I shouldn't run around here dressed like this. The went to the kitchen. While she didn't have to help with the cleaning she did anyways.

Roxas watched her go. Now he had nothing to do. Sighing, he started walking down the hallway, looking for something to do. Anything to do. Even though the blond really didn't like cleaning. He would do it if it meant having something to do.

Axel went to his den and flopped down. The night just begun and I'm ready for it to be over. He sat there for a moment before he realized that Maria would be cleaning right now. So that means Roxas is alone. A smirk came across his face before he jumped up and headed out to find the lone new slave.

Roxas walked around for a long time. Until he ended up basically lost. He tried to retrace his steps, but then figured that it wasn't helping. Sighing, the blond slid to the floor with his back to the wall. Maybe he'll get lucky and one of the servants will come by and help him.

Axel walked down the halls searching for lone heart beats. There were several and the first couple he found on were not the humans he was searching for. Finally he turned down a hall and realized he had found the right one. Roxas was sitting on the floor with his back against the wall. "What happened? Maria dump you by yourself?" He smirked down at the boy.

Roxas looked up when he heard Axel speak. He shook his head. "No.. Not exactly. She went off to do some cleaning." the blond told him. He stood up and stretched slightly. It wasn't exactly comfortable to be sitting on the ground like that for to long.

Axel watched as the blond stood up. He waved his hand, "I never will understand why that girl cleans. She doesn't have to and yet she does. So," he drawed out the word for a moment then leaned closer to Roxas, "what are you doing now?"

"Getting lost." Roxas stated. "I have no idea where I am" the blond sighed and leaned against the wall. Maybe he could ask Axel how to get to where he needed to be. But then again, the blond would rather be lost then ask for help.

"Well you can only be lost when you have a place to go. So where do you want to be?" He looked down the hall and listened to the heartbeats for a moment before looking back at Roxas. "Maybe I could be of service."

Roxas thought about it. He really didn't want to be a bother to Axel. But he also didn't want to be lost anymore. "I don't know..I'm bored so I was looking for something to do.." the blond told him.

Axel smiled a bit more so that a single fang showed. "So what would you like to do my dear little human? With our new knowledge on Fang sadly the choices are a bit less right now. The town is off limits as is our small area of land. Everyone must stay within the house." He looked away for a moment thinking about his children. I hope Fang isn't giving them any problems. "And I will need to check on all of my children before the end of the night."

Roxas thought about it. "Ok.. Well.. What is there to do within the house?" the blond asked. It didn't matter what it was. He just wanted something to do. He hated having nothing to do, it was just boring. He needed to be moving around.

"Well the kitchen will be getting a deep cleaning and I'm sure at least a few of them are baking so that is out. The entertainment room is probably the same. The gym should be empty since it is cleaned by the people who use it, and the library should be empty since it only takes a little dusting."

Roxas thought about that. Most of that sounded like a bunch of work. "Can you show me where the library is?" he asked. The blond figured that was the best option. Plus, he was sure that there wouldn't be many people there, which was how he wanted it.

"Sure thing milord." Axel gave a hugely florished bow before walking a few paces and opening a door. He looked inside this stepped back out shaking his head. "Cleaning frenzy. I may be the master here but even I am not brave or strong enough to disturb that." He started walking down the hall. "That would have gotten us there quicker but I think the halls might be safer." Before long he stood infront of a door. He opened it to reveal a large room with floor to ceiling bookcases. There were 25 bookcases at the current count and he was rather proud of that fact. In the back there was another room that held older books and things that the family had collected over their many years.

Roxas couldn't help but smile slightly when Axel called him 'milord.' Though he didn't understand why he did. The blond started to follow him, but was surprised when he didn't go through the door. Then it made sense after the redhead explained. He then continued following him. When they arrived at the library, he looked around in awe. He's never seen so many books in his life! At least, as far as he knew of. Stupid amnesia! "This place is incredible!" he told him.

Axel smiled at the blond. Most vampires, or to his mind the smart ones, had libraries. It was hard not to gather books and artifacts from the times you past through. "I'm glad you think so. Some people just don't understand the power in the written word. The newer books are closer to the door and the farther back you go the older they get. In the back right corner there is a door that leads to our memory room. It is like our own personal muesum."

"Of course I think so. How could I not? This place is incredible!" Roxas told him, smiling at him for a moment before stepping in deeper and looking at all the books. For a brief moment, he forgot if he could even read. But instantly felt better when he could read the titles on the books. Maybe this place won't be so bad after all.

Axel felt a little lighter at Roxas's smile. It was the first time he had seen it. He watched as Roxas looked at the books then stepped into the room. He walked to one of the many chairs throughout the room and sat down. "Everyone is of course alloweed to read any of these books. Though I would ask that the books on the back bookcases and the ones in the side room be kept in here and not leave. They are more delicate and I would hate to lose them.

Roxas nodded. "I probably won't take anything out of here anyway." he told him. It would be better to just keep the books in here, where they would be safe. And the blond would hate to ruin any of them. He looked at a few of them before pulling one off the read it.

"Most of the books up here are simply here for the enjoyment of everyone. We cycle through them ever so often and donate the ones no one wants to the library. We only keep really special books." He watched as the boy started reading. He watched him for a moment before getting up and going to the back bookcase. He skimmed over the covers then pulled out a leather bound book. He walked back to his chair and sat down. The book, while not the oldest or even worth much, was one of his favorites. It had been given to him by one of his past lovers. A girl who he had offered immortal life but had been turned down. He had laughed when she had given it to him. It was a collection of fairy tales.

"I see.." Roxas stated, understanding. If only the special ones were kept, then they must be interesting to read. He hoped so. The blond didn't want to waste his time reading something that was boring. He relaxed with the book he had chosen and began reading. From what he could tell, it seemed pretty interesting. But he wasn't completely sure right away. He would have to read a bit to be sure.
