alright so i didnt know that you couldnt post a thread just to post one so i have to have a topic of discussion....well my topic happens to be how gay that is...most of the threads on here dont really have a topic they just pretend too so that they can do what i was trying to do without getting in trouble so instead im just gonna post a couple of different threads but they will each have a topic of discussion so i cant really get in trouble seeing as im trying to have a conversation with who ever wants to respond doesnt mean anyone will though but if i do get in trouble thats just stupid seeing as im following the site rules unless theres a rule on how many threads your allowed to make now

Sounds a bit like this is more feedback. So I'm moving it to the appropriate forum.

I don't think it's stupid at all. If spam threads (bumping, pure chit chat, pyp, etc) were allowed on this site I would probably quit. Creating threads with topics isn't hard at all, especially since the topic doesn't have to be sophisticated. But threads just to say "Hello" or "What's up"... That belongs in threads like hangouts or charities. Stuff like that doesn't have to have its own thread.

Firstly, unless Menewsha happens to be homosexual, I think it best that you come up with another word there. Using gay as a word that means bad can be really offensive to some people.

Secondly, I don't think that most threads pretend to have topics of discussion. Many of them may appear to be random, but all of the threads that remain open and have not been locked or moved by moderators do inspire conversation and are in the correct places. Having spam threads or threads that are just completely random and don't inspire conversation would be the downfall of the site, and all sites like this, and shouldn't really be a high priority on anyone's list.

My personal opinion on this anyway, which to be frank, probably doesn't count for much.

EDIT: To my knowledge, there is no rule on how many threads you can create.

The GD has some threads that are border-line spam in my opinion. I would not say that Mene doesn't allow pointless threads because lately there seems to be more and more of them but again, that's just my opinion on things.

We've been told to be more lax on the threads that are created. Yes, some of them are borderline spam, but I guess some people just like to talk in borderline spam threads. *shrugs* Our rules were scaring people off before, and so we've relaxed them. However, even those borderline spam threads still have a discussion point.

Von- If you wish to create a thread that doesn't exactly have a topic point, you're welcome to make a hangout thread in Menewsha Nations. That is where those "hey let's just talk for the fun of it" threads go. :3

Yeah, I figured it was to make things more welcoming here. More activity is a good thing so I suppose I can't complain too much about that part of it. One thing I cold not stand about other sites is the amount of spam even though you could make a discussion about just about anything.
