Misaki shook his head quickly. "Really? I don't feel embarrassed at all." he said, quickly waving it off. He really didn't want Usagi to worry about him. Confusion mixed with curiosity crossed his face though at the sight of the man who had called out the older man's name. He wanted to ask who this man was, but he didn't want to feel like he was prying to much into Usagi's life.

"Akihiko! Fancy seeing you here~" Fuyuhiko said, smiling lightly at the sight of his son. He was the last person he had expected to run into on his trip to the onsen. After all, Akihiko did tend to avoid going out into public. If fact, he avoided it. So what brought him to this particular onsen?

Usami stiffened figuring it was just the hot water that was making him see things. He, however, was very wrong. He stopped to turn to his father as he looked at him and said,"What are you doing here?" He knew that he was being rude, really rude, to his father, but right now he was indeed the last person that he wanted to see here, especially with Misaki. He didn't want his father snooping around asking questions about things that he knew nothing about.

Fuyuhiko frowned lightly. "Is it really polite to be so mean to me after not seeing me for so long?" he asked. He hadn't noticed Misaki yet so he didn't ask any questions about him... Yet. He sighed. "But if you really must know, I'm here on business. I had a meeting a short distance from here and decided to come relax when it was over."

((I can take over the conversation when the dad is talking to Misaki, since I don't want us to have a conversation with one another. How about that. Depending on who the dad is talking to depends on who takes over the dad. So if he is talking to Misaki, then I will take it, and you can take it if he is talking to Usami)).

Usami scoffed when he heard his father say this to him. He knew that he was probably here for some form of a business trip, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he was here because Usami was here as well. He was glad that he hadn't seen Misaki yet, since that would have been the icing on the cake if he had. He could just imagine that conversation. "Well it sounds like you are really busy," said Usami as he looked at his father with a slight glare. "You should be getting back to that. You seem to be very busy."

((Alright. That makes sense. I really do hate talking to myself.))

Fuyuhiko frowned. Why was Akihiko trying to push him away so quickly? Was he hiding something? If so, it was his job as his father to find out what it was. "I'll have you know that my meeting today has ended and I don't have to do anything else until tomorrow." he said, crossing his arms. His attention was on Akihiko for a few moments longer before it drifted over to Misaki standing behind his son. "Who's this?"
Misaki froze. He had been hoping to become invisible somehow. But now that this man had seen him, and since he really didn't know who he was, he couldn't get any words to come out, no matter how hard he tried.

Usami continued to glare at the other male when he asked who was behind him. Turning he saw that Misaki was behind him. "Wonderful," thought Usami. "Maybe this was a mistake coming here. Not coming to the onsen with Misaki, but coming to the public bath when they had their own private bath."Usami turned to his Misaki, completely ignoring his father as he looked at the brunette and said,"Head back to the room, and wait for me there." He didn't know if Misaki would actually listen to him, but he didn't want him anywhere near his father now, or ever. "He is of no concern to you. Leave him alone." he said with a stern tone to his voice.

"I was just asking who he was. You don't need to make him leave on because of me." Fuyuhiko said, raising an eyebrow lightly. He took note of the way Akihiko seemed to defend the boy, who looked like he was still in high school. "Besides, it's only right for me to be concerned about you. I don't want you spending time with the wrong type of people. What kind of father would I be if I did that?" he asked.
'Father?! This.. is... Usagi-san's father?!' Misaki thought, completely surprised. He knew Usagi wanted him to leave, but he didn't understand why he had to go. And it was rude to walk away when someone was asking for your name. "I'm Takahashi Misaki." he said, bowing slightly to introduce himself.

Usami let out a sigh. He was amazed though that his father didn't start pestering him yet about who he was, and what their relationship was. His father knew for a while that he preferred the company of men over that of a woman, but he didn't know to what extent. The last thing Usami wanted his father to start asking was what was Usami's relationship to Misaki. What was he supposed to do? Pretend that Misaki is just staying at his house as a free loader, that that was all that they had? Usami pushed in front of Misaki as he shielded the other male from view. "Yes, he is my friend's younger brother. He is staying at my place because he is going to school in Tokyo and his brother just got married," said Usami hoping that that was sufficient enough for his father.

Fuyuhiko was silent for a moment, taking note on how Akihiko seemed to be protecting this boy. That was odd... He had the feeling that there was more to this than what was said. He raised an eyebrow lightly, knowing that these feelings were normally right. "Is that so?" he asked, taking a step to the side so he could get a look at Misaki. There didn't appear to be anything special about him... Kind of short... Average look. Definitely not someone who deserved to be around his son. But he decided this was something he should investigate on his own time. He didn't want to seem like too much of a bother right now.

Usami continued to narrow his eyes when he saw his father move to the side a little bit to see Misaki. He moved himself as well to block his view again. Clearly this wasn't working. "Father,"said Usami. "Why don't we go and get a drink or something. I think we have a lot to chat about."

Fuyuhiko smiled at the offer and nodded. "Of course." he said, noting the way Akihiko moved in front of Misaki again. That was most definitely interesting and it would be something he'd ask about later. "I would love to catch up with how you've been."

Usami nodded his head in agreement when his father said that was a great idea. "How about later tonight then," said Usami as he began walking towards the stairs that led to the tiled floor. "I have some work that needs to be done still. Shall we meet at the restaurant, say, 8 o'clock." He hoped that his father bought the excuse that he had work to do.

Fuyuhiko nodded and relaxed some more in the bath. "Yes. Of course." he said. He had a small suspicion that Akihiko would try to get out of the dinner with him, but it wasn't as if he could force his son to go. So all he could do now was just wait and see.

Usami turned towards Misaki and smiled at him. "I am heading back to the room. I do have some work that I need to finish, but if you want to stay here longer, please stay here," said Usami. He knew that by leaving the brunette with his father insanity would ensue, but right now he had to get away.

Misaki nodded. "Alright." He hadn't been ready to go back yet anyway and now that he knew Usagi had work he had to do, the brunette was more hesitant. After all, he didn't want to do anything that got in the way of the older man's work. Besides, he wasn't going to let the fact that he's just met Usagi's dad alter his decision... Even if he was curious about him and wanted to ask questions. He would refrain, sensing that the older man didn't like his father very much.

Usami made his way out of the water, wondering briefly if the brunette was going to go with him back to the room. Right now, though, his self-preservation was a little more important that sadly caring for the brunette. Grabbing his things he hastily dressed and quickly made his way back to the room. Once he was there he closed the door and then flopped back onto his bed as he let his eyes slide close. He had a headache right now, and there was no way that he was going to be able to write.

Misaki wanted to stay in the water for a bit longer, but he was starting to feel uncomfortable standing so close to Usagi's father. And the last thing he wanted was to end up in an interogation. So he stayed in the water for a bit longer before he left the bath as well before Fuyuhiko could get any questions out. He dressed quietly and headed back to the room slowly, enjoying his walk alone. He paused outside the door though, worried that he was going to disturb Usagi from his work... So he entered quietly, just in case. He saw the older man lying on the bed, so the brunette assumed that he was asleep. So he walked quietly across the floor to sit on his bed and he pulled out one of his mangas.

Usami was in a deep sleep, though he knew that someone else was in the room with him. Cracking an eye open he looked around to see Misaki sitting there reading a manga on his bed. Rolling over he smiled at him and said,"Hey there, did you enjoy the hot springs? Also real quick, what time is it?"

Misaki was completely immersed in reading his manga that he almost didn't even look up when Usagi had spoken. He lowered the book before turning his attention to look at the older man. The brunette smiled lightly and nodded. "Yeah. I had a great time." he said. His attention flickered to the clock. "It's a little after 7:30."

Usami sighed knowing that the later it got the sooner he would have to meet with his father. Getting off of the bed he made his way to the bathroom where he took a hasty shower, dressed, and then came out of the bathroom. "Misaki," said Usami. "I am going to go meet my father now. I guess dinner is kind of on your own, unless you want to get dinner with me after I meet him." Usami didn't want to spend too much time with the his father.

Misaki dropped his attention back down to his manga when Usagi had gone to the bathroom. He could faintly hear the sound of the shower turning on, but his mind quickly tuned it out. He had to force his attention away from the pages though when he heard the older man speak. He shook his head quickly. "I don't mind eating on my own. Go have fun with your father." he said.

Usami furrowed his brow a little bit as he nodded his head. He had wanted to eat dinner with Misaki, but apparently his father decided to show up. This was something that he had not planned on happening. He began to head for the door, but stopped when he heard the brunette telling him to have fun. "Sure," thought Usami in the most sarcastic tone that he could muster. This night was going to be hell. Pure and utter hell. Walking out of the room he closed the door as he made his way towards the restaurant where he would be meeting his father.

Fuyuhiko had gone to the restaurant, not really expecting Akihiko to show up. But even if his son didn't show, that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy a nice meal on his own, right? But he was pleasantly surprised when Akihiko came in the restaurant and was showed to the table. "I'm so glad you showed up~" he said, smiling happily at his son. It had been so long since they shared a meal together.

Before he got to the doors of the restaurant he let out a sigh knowing that this was the right thing to do. Opening the door he walked in and immediately saw his father. He was led to the table as he sat down. "Hello father,"said Usami as he looked at Fuyuhiko with some form of disdain.

Fuyuhiko saw the look on Akihiko's face and he frowned lightly. Really, what had he done to be hated so much by his son? Nothing really came to mind, so he figured that there was all this hatred for no reason. If Akihiko couldn't at least pretend to be polite though, than why should he. "I would like to have a chat with you about Takahashi-kun." he said, leaning forward in his seat some. "I don't think you need to be spending any more time around him than you have been."
