@ Vix: Yeah, I guess his is a man as you say. ^^;

@ Arkk: Ooh, Quebec! Do you by any chance speak a bit of French?

And no one says caramel like I do, or at least none of the ones I've listened to yet...

@ Arkk: Aw, I was hoping you could chat with me in French. >.<

@ Vix: Um... I don't pronounce that second "a" so it sounds like "car-mel". Much less melodious than the way the "caaramel" people say it.

Awww that sucks. Even if I was more fluent, I would be speaking Quebecoise.
It's very very different than France french lol

@ Vix: Kinda... Everyone I've listened to has said "aaaunt" too. I say "ant". I shorten a lot of my words to make them sound the same as other words I think. The same thing goes for "Mary" "marry" and "merry". They all sound the same when I say them. I guess I'm just lazy with my pronunciations.

@ Arkk: It is but still understandable for the most part. I speak France French but I watched a movie where they spoke Quebecoise and I could still understand it.

I just meant about the caramel bit. All New Englanders say "car-mel" or the variation "cah-mel/mul".

Yeah, that's what I said "kinda" to before going off about the difference in the way I say "aunt", LOL!

Yea for the most part you can get the gist of what's being said, but then you'll run into to people that are talking in Quebec slang and you'll just get lost lol

Slang can be fun. I don't know if the same things happen in different French dialects but when it comes to Spanish, we can get into a spot of trouble...Especially when it comes to the different ways of saying cake, one of which also basically means "pussy" in a certain country

LOL! I've learned some words in other versions of French but haven't really encountered any trouble spots like that.

I want to do this, but I don't have a working microphone.
Shame really as my accent seems to be a common debating point amongst those who know me (my university class once spent an entire week discussing it.) I'd like to hear other people's opinions on it. XD

I'm Welsh but apparently my accent is a bit of a mix - most people say I don't sound Welsh at all. It’s mostly a mix of various English and American accents according to others.

My voice is also ridiculously deep for that of a woman. D:
As I can't record them, I'll answer your questions here. :)

Their accents, in my opinion, are the best.

I knew instantly that Insomniac was an Aussie. But then it doesn't help that mon-thur Nelonen plays Animal Rescue (which is from Australia)
Nelonen is a Finnish television station that I can stream a live feed from. ^^" No I am not Finnish, and the shows that are in other languages- they subtitle.

Oh yeah. Hi! I am thinking of doing this. I don't know when yet since I live in a college dormitory in a hallway full of girls. ^^" There is a lot of loud talking in my hallway. ^^" Plus I live with a bratty roommate whom I don't acknowledge the existence of. but would like not to cause anymore drama. :P

at this current moment I am getting a little cough (school stress) and I shall say in advance if I do this, I have a kind of high pitched voice and a nasal Rochestarian accent (I'm from Rochester NY) but I do pronounce some words with a little bit of a Canadian accent. ;P
