The next day Xing woke up with a start. He was in a cold sweat. Those dreams again, he thought. Why can't I get them to stop?

Abby had woken up early and was already down stairs working on breakfast. Her mind was elsewhere lost in her own thoughts

Xing came downstairs yawning, scratching his head and still in his PJs. "What's for breakfast?" He asked.

Abby jumped looking to him."oh uh",she looked to what she was cooking."eggs,bacon,home fries,and toast"

"Mmmm..." Xing's stomach rumbled quietly. "How long before they're done?" He asked, peering into the pan.

Abby smiled."about another five minutes", she said smileing to him

"Great," Xing said, still hovering over the pan.

Abby laughed." the bacon on the right is ready,take some"

"yes!" Xing said happily, grabbing two pieces and sticking one in his mouth. "I take it you didn't want me drooling on the food?" he asked as he munched.

Abby smiled." well that, and it would have been burnt to a crisp"

"Oh." Xing replied. "Any of the eggs done?"

Abbt nodded."help your self",she said and let her thoughts wonder again.

Xing brought down a plate and helped himself to the eggs. "So, sleep good?" he asked.

Abby was starein off into space , an ply catching a bit of what Xing said to her she looked at him."hm?"

"I asked if you slept good." Xing replied.

Abby nodded" yes for the most part"

Xing nodded. He wasn't sure how to fill the awkward silence, as he hadn't exactly had the best night himself.

Abby nearly jumped out of her skin hearing a beeping from her manical. Looking at it she sighed." just great"

"What?" Xing asked. "Found out who your next opponent is?"

Abby sighed." yeah it's another follower of that dark spirit"

"Just lovely," Xing said through a mouthful of egg.

Abby nodded." yeah, perfect huh?"

Xing shook his head. "This is going to be a royal pain in the ass. When is it?" He asked.

Abby looked to him." tomorrow"

Xing sighed. "Fun fun," He said sarcastically. "Me and Shiki will be cheering you on, and I'm sure Elliot will be too." He smield. "You'll do fine.'
