Xing grinned. "'Resting' doesn't always mean bedrest," he replied.

Abby grined." thank you,it'll be nice to have my friends there cheering me on"

Xing smiled back. "No problems there," he replied.

Abby smiled then flinched as a spat of hot grease hit her hand." ouch!", she yelled and shook get hand

"I think the bacon's done." Xing said with a half smile on his face.

Abby laughed." me too ", she said Turing the burner off

"Want me to get Shiki up?" Xing asked as someone knocked on the door.

Abby nodded and blinked seeing Shiki come running down the stairs and stopping to make sure he looked good before going to the door. Abby blinked a few times then looked to Xing." what's with him?"

Shiki smiled opening the door." good morning Elliot"

"Morning," Elliot she replied. She saw Xing through the doorway. "What's...with the ducky pajamas?"

"Hey Shiki." Xing said. "And so what if they're ducks?!"

Elliot sighed and shook her head. "You'd think that after 500 years, the trend for pjs would've moved to something other than ducks..." She said.

Xing scowled, but didn't mention that at least it wasn't the lime green smiley-faces.

Abby laughed ." come on guys, breakfast is ready!"

"Looks like our friend Xing's already started eating too," Elliot said as she entered.

Shiki laughed." yeah I'm guessing he mooched off Abby"

"It wasn't mooching!" Xing protested. "I asked!"

Abby grumbled."if none of you come and sit down you won't get any breakfeast"

"H-hey! That's playing dirty!" Xing protested.

Abby gave him a look ." then sit", she said seriously


Shiki laughed nervously and quickly took a seat

Elliot took a seat next to Shiki, while Xing grumbled and sat down opposite them. As he did, his stomach started growling again.

"Is it just me, or does your stomach never shut up?" Elliot asked.

Abby laughed setting their plates full of food infrint of them.

Xing immediately started digging in. "Yeesh, does this kid have a black hole for a stomach or something?" Elliot asked.

Shiki laughed." I think so"

Xing gulped his food down before replying. "Can I help it if I have a fast metabolism?" He asked.

Xing laughed." guess not", he then blinked looking at Abby." you're quite this morning, everything okay ?"
