Xing smiled more. "Thanks, guys." He said.

Shiki grined."hey what else re friends for?",he asked.

Abby looked back at Shiki and Xing talking. It was nice to see Shiki becomeing friends with other people . Seeing her house she smiled. Abby really could not wate to get a long hot bath.

Xing grinned back and looked to the door. "And we're home!" He said happily. "Here's hoping the crazy ghost lady isn't home...."

Yukina laughed." she may not be ....",Yukina said and entered the home looking around as she entered."its actually quit for once",she said streaching.

Shiki smiled as they entered." then go get cleaned up well start on,lunch... diner ... well whatever",he said grinning and wnet to the kitchen.

"This'll give me a chance to try out my own spin on pocky." Elliot said. "Hey, Xing, can you cook at all?"

"Does grilled cheese count?" Xing asked.

Shiki laughed."it does in my books",he said laughing."to the kitchen we go!",he said in a triunfent maner and marched to the kitchen.

Abby laughed a little as she made her way up the steps.

"Right...you guys got any preztel rods, chocolate, and almonds?" Elliot asked as she entered the kitchen.

"Beware: Elliot is known for asking people to be guinea pigs for her food experiments." Nala whispered in Xing's ear.

"I heard that!"

Yukina watche dthem enter the kitchen and smiled softly before heading up stairs looking at the floor.

Spire floated up next to Abby. "Is something wrong?" He asked.

Yukina jumped slightly but smiled."no ,well not really...",she said grabbing some change of clothse and a towel out of her room.

"Your voice is saying one thing and your face is saying another." Spire said. "What's really bothering you? Is it about that fight?"

Abby blinked looking tp Spire and sighed."yeah ....",she said softly and sat on the edge of her bed.

Spire settled next to her shoulder. "Want to tell me about it?" He asked.

Abby sighed."im worried, i mean they eai i was conpletely diferent ... but i cant remember that...i didnt feel any diferent"

"You were." Spire replied. "Are you sure you don't have a second spirit partnet?"

Yukina nodded."im sure of it,Kimiko is the only one I have",she said and looking to the floor.

"Odd..." Spire said. He heard a loud shout followed by a string of swearing, and a splash. "What the heck is going on down there...?"

Yukina smiled to Spire. " you go cheack it out, I'm going to get a bath",she said standing up.

"Right," Spire said, floating back downstairs. The kitchen he entered looked like a disaster had struck. The boiling water Elliot was using to melt the chocolate had emptied onto Xing at the other burner, and Shiki was flat on his face, having slipped in melted butter. "Uh...what happened?"

Shiki slowly sat up."doom ... thats what happened",he said with a groan.

Xing was rummaging in the freezer for an ice pack. "Ok....." Spire said. "How did melted butter get on the floor...?"

"Elliot was trying to melt a couple pats into the chocolate to help soften it, Xing bumped her and sent the butter to the floor, as well as the boiling water onto him, and when Shiki went to get something from the fridge he slipped in the butter." Nala explained. "I thought it was kind of funny."

"You didn't get doused with boiling water." Xing said, pulling an ice pack out of the freezer and placing it on his arm. "Ahhh......."

Shiki looked up at Xing."we have burn cream",he said starting to get up but yelped slipping on the butter agan.

"Oh..." Xing said.

Elliot held out her hand to help Shiki up. "Need help?" She asked.

Shiki nodded."yeah up stairs",he said and carefully took Eliots hand and stood up.
