Xing smirked. "You scared?" He asked.

Shiki sighed."yeah ... a little.....",he said cakmly.

"Wait a sec....what's the basis of this crush anyway?" Xing asked. "Didn't we just meet her?"

Shiki grumbeled."can we please change the subject?",he said looking away.

"Sure," Xing said. "What's got you in the shaman fight?"

Shiki looked to him."helping Abby out ... well origonally , but i have something to prove to myself, and tomy family"

Not too different from me. Xing thought. "What've you got to prove?"

"that i am no weakling .. or a phycho,he said streaching.

Xing frowned. "What makes them say that?" He asked.

"becasue i can see spirits, and work with them, theythink im insane....but there my family, im glad i have them ... i feel so bad for Abby a-lot..."

"Ouch." Xing said, not knowing what it would be like to be the only shaman in his entire family.

Shiki shruged."its not so bad I guess...",he said relaxing into teh chair stareing at teh sealing.

"Your family thinks you're insane, and you think that's not so bad?" Xing asked quizzically.

Shiki smiled."i could have no family at all to think of me like that",he said frowning."Abby only has us .... she has no family with her..."

"Yeah, I guess that does put it in perspective." Xing said, looking down.

Shiki nodded."yeah ... ",he fround at a thought."what if Abby doesnt pull through, what if she doesnt want to fight anymore?",he mutterd.

"Then...I don't know...." Xing said. "How badly does she want to beat this Kongi guy?"

Sjiki looked to him."prettey bad ....."

"I see...." Xing said, trailing off. "You know...a life ruled by revenge isn't really a life at all..."

Shiki sighed."try telling her that ...",he said looking flusterd."that girl is a stubern as a muke, and is scarry when she fights....."

"Yeah, I've noticed." Xing said. It makes me kind of afraid to have to fight her in the shaman fight. He thought.

"but ... i think that , side of her, only comes out, when she's fighting shamans bent on evil thing s, i fought her once, just a spare, and she never was like that"

"That's good to hear," Xing said. "I still don't want to piss her off though."

Shiki nodded."agreed!"

Xing leaned back in his chair, watching the clock.
