Faust shrugged, with a smile. "Have it your way." He said. "I only came in to offer Xing the power to defeat his father in the shaman fight. And to tell you all that you shouldn't be treating me as an enemy."

Abby looked suspisious." you put Xing in the hospital, you took it to far in your fight with him, so why shouldnt we treat you like an enemy?"

"Because I'm neither your enemy nor your friend." Faust replied. "Xing only ended up in the hospital because he wasn't strong enough to prevent it."

Aby gave a small glare."you still went to farFaust...",she said with a glare.

"It all depends on what you think too far is." Faust replied. "If I had done that to your enemy, Konji I believe you said his name was, would you be saying that?"

Abby growled."thats conpletely different! hes's a monster, who slaughted anyione i held dear! Xing has dine nothing of the sort!"

"Ah, but he's capable." Faust said, brightly, holding up his finger. "Just remember who his father is. I wonder how many people he's killed alrea--"

Xing didn't give Faust a chance to finish his sentance. "You. Fucking. Bastard." He snarled, his hand pinning Faust's neck to the wall with his hand.

Abby looked to Xing and gently touched his sholder."Xing don't let him get to you ...",she said looking to Faust."he's not worth your time..."

Shiki nodded."Shes right"

Xing wasn't listening. "I am nothing like my father or my ancestors," He growled softly, his hand still on Faust's windpipe. "I assure you of that."

Abby sighed some and touched his hand that was on Faust's throught."Xing please stop",she said looking to his eyes.""he's not worth it , you and everyone knows that"

It took a moment for Abby's touch and voice to register. Finally, Xing released Faust, who started hacking from the near-strangulation. "I still wish he'd have stayed dead when his body went." He said. "Walking zombie...."

"I'm not a zombie," Faust said irritably, apparently annoyed by the term. "I prefer to call myself the next best thing to immortal. Or, dead man walking."

Abby smiled to Xing softly then looked to Faust."vampires a cool and imortal,you are indeed a zombie...",she said annoyedly.

Faust was clearly grumpy now. "I am not a zombie." He said sharply. "Keep up that attitude and you'll never defeat Konji."

Abby gave a small glare."oh I'll beat him alright....asd what does me calling you a zombie have to do wth me not being able to defeate Kongi?",she asked raiseing an eyebrow.

Shiki sighed.'she's only woken up about half an hour ago, and she's alrady ready to pick a ight if neeeded' Shiki thought to himself.

"It means you're not willing to see past the exterior of something." Faust said, stepping towards the door. "Now, if you don't mind, I have an appointment to get to."

Abby watched him head to the door."you enjoy that",she said grumbeling.

Faust left without another word. "I don't like that freak." Xing said finally.

Abby looked to him and nodded."Ditto",she said and sighed going back to the bed and sat down.

"I'm kinda hoping he gets kicked out of the tournament." Elliot said. "It'd do us all a favor."

Shiki nodded."agreed"

"Doubt he'll get kicked, though." Xing said sullenly, his mood ruined by first sensing his dad's spiritual pressure, and then Faust showing up.

Abby nodded."yeah, the 'officials", dont seem to care much ...",she muttered."there should be a rule against hat he does, and taking tings to far in a atch....",she said softly.Then looked to Xing and had to smile."and I have to say I'm proud of you Xing..."

"How?" Xing asked. "I nearly killed the bastard...not that it would've been a bad thing."

Abby smiled still."because he offered ou a chance to become stranger then you already are, most shamans would jump at that chance, but very few have the controle to declin that offer ...",she said looking ahpily at him.

"I want to defeat my father...but not if it means becoming a psycho." Xing said. I'm already teetering on that edge as-is.
