((LOL your point is VERY taken ^_^ I can see the drama starting already! XDD))
Collin waited very patiently for her words to come back. Was it that odd for her to hear that she was interesting? Well he supposed having a witch for a friend did suppress one's own interest in comparison. She stuttered her response and then jotted down her number on a napkin for him which made him very, very happy! He could talk to her again, and that made a smile appear on his face. Taking another, he wrote down the number to his and Kain's home and gave it to her with a smile. "There you go miss." he told, smiling wider.
Ezekiel's face lit up in soft color as he put his hand around her waist to guide her. Was he marking her for all to see? Or did he have as much of a want for her as she did for him? If he had asked - she would have almost willingly came back with him. Almost. Theodora had been her 'sister from another mister', as the saying went, for years and the witch wouldn't abandon her for a simple addiction. His words shattered her world and she looked at him. "I would allow it. Though you're not the first to offer danger to me, I assure you my fanged friend." she said, smiling lightly.

A smiling Collin was a delightful sight, even more so then when he was blushing so adorably. The thoughts did surprise Theodora quite a bit. She wasn't used to this instant liking for someone, the young woman rather like taking her time in such matters. Even so her heart leaped up as the young man handed her his own number. A smile made Theodora's lips twitch up, and it was a very wide one. "Who knows, maybe we could convince Eze and your friend to come hang out with us... Or would you prefer we didn't?" Shivering once more, Theodora concentrated on that rather then her heated cheeks.
Chuckling, Kane stopped just before they were easily visible from the café. "Then Ezekiel, I shall be sending you notice in your dreams." As he bent his head in silent respect for what she was Kane's red hair fell across his blue eyes like a veil. Masked as they were, Ezekiel could not have seen the sudden longing in his gaze. Kane had been wanting a companion to his heart for so very long, he dared not hope that Ezekiel might be such a one. Extending a hand to take Ezekiel's with a questioning glance, Kane then proceeded to walk over to their friends with a smile. "I hope you haven't tried running away Collin!" Moving away from Ezekiel with regret, the vampire went to ruffle his friend's hair.

Collin thought Theodora was beautiful, just beautiful. She hated her nice, quiet life but admired the witch for how she protected her for so long, though he had to wonder why. Witches were quite the hunted creatures and most of them preferred to live in hidden homes with family members. Maybe this girl was her family? The very thought made him blink. Kain was his family too... Her question made him blink then smile. "Oh sure! I don't mind at all - though I hope Ezekiel and Kain would get along! They seem to but heads." he said, frowning a bit. Kain and Ezekiel had opposing personalities so he hoped the two got along. Speaking of the devil - Kain came in and ruffled his hair, Collin laughing. "No - I haven't tried running away," he said, laughing.
Ezekiel glanced at him and smiled. "Oh I'm sure you will," she told, nodding her head back in a similar respect. Though she couldn't see his eyes light up in longing, she knew that if he felt anything like she did - it wouldn't be too long before she'd see that notice, not long at all. As long as Ezekiel had been alive, which was quite a while - but she wasn't the oldest out there - she hadn't really thought of a mate or a companion, when her family was slaughtered - all that was on her mind was survival. Then she somehow managed to find Theodora, a very accepting woman who welcomed her with open arms despite what and who she was. But Ezekiel couldn't be more glad, she got a family through that girl. Kain moved away from her to poke at Collin and Ezekiel took her place beside Theodora and wrap a friendly arm around her. "Hey there sweets!" she said, giving her typical greeting.

Theodora laughed as her friend looped an arm around her. She was still glowing from her conversation with Collin, and was a little disappointed that it had to end so soon. "Eze, you look like you actually had fun!" Surprise was obvious in her voice as she regarded her friend. Ezekiel was always so careful about each new person she met, so this was eerily strange. Theodora tilted her head to the side and her grey eyes regarded the blue eyed red head with contemplation.
Kane patted his friend on the back and turned to the two young women with a cocky grin. "We'll be seeing the two of you later. Collin and I need to leave and take care of some business." They had a job of sorts to pay for their rent. Being creatures of he night wasn't always an easy thing, when sunlight gaze you constant sunburns if you didn't put enough sunscreen on. In any case, Kane was a fencing coach, which suited him just fine. If they didn't leave soon though, he would be very late for the beginner class.

Ezekiel nodded at them as they left and sat down. "He's... okay." she said, shrugging with a smile. So she was lying, she didn't care. "So did you have fun?" she asked, sipping the drink that she left on the table before she went off with Kane. Truth be told - he was more than 'okay' but her mind covered that when she finally got it back from being bitten, then wanting him to ask her to go with him, and all the other things that she wanted for five minutes in her life than she never wanted before in her life. "How was yours and Collin's little talk?" she asked, trying to get off the subject of her and Kane. She had messed up - she was supposed to be careful, not let the first vampire off the street bite her then get addicted to the sensation. Ezekiel forced a smile.
Collin looked at Kane as they left and gave a coy smirk. "Oh looks like you enjoyed her company! Did you?" he said, nudging his friend. Theodora's smile filled his mind and he couldn't help the churn in his stomach, as if there was butterflies in there wanting to get out. Was he developing a crush on Theodora? He blushed softly, lost in his own little universe. He couldn't imagine Kane biting or doing anything else beyond that with Ezekiel - he was much too careful for that! Or at least that's what he thought, he'd be so shocked at the truth. But he pushed those thoughts away and headed to the fencing class. He usually sat on the side, building websites for people for anywhere from a hundred to two hundred a pop, since his business recently picked up a bit.

Theodora could tell Ezekiel was very distracted indeed. Or rather, that her friend wasn't being quite truthful. The two had lied together for a few years, and though Theo didn't know everything she knew when Ezekiel wanted to drop a subject. This was one time when the young woman wasn't sure how to take up the situation. To give herself time she played with her hands and looked down at the table nervously.
"I did have fun... So much fun that I asked Collin if we could meet up sometime again. He actually gave me his phone number, and I didn't even need to ask!" There was no feigning how incredulous Theodora was. Chill air went unnoticed as moonlight fell upon the scene. Other patrons hate their food and quite chatter filled the patio as the two friend chatted together.
As they walked, Kane regarded his friend with a raised eyebrow. "You wouldn't believe the truth if I told you how much I enjoyed Ezekiel's... Company." Purposefully pausing between the words, Kane began walking quite a bit faster. His long strides covered the distance to the studio far more quickly then was usual. By the time they arrived at the brick building the vampire was trying to clear his mind of anything but fencing.
The task was difficult. Even as Kane began teaching his thoughts kept returning to Ezekiel. In the end the class was a disaster, for the coach, and a success for the students. Their morale was so high! Kane couldn't help but laugh as he went to sit beside his friend at the end of the class. "Collin, I might be in very deep trouble."

Ezekiel couldn't help the smile that spread across her best friends face. It seemed she was quite smitten with the man and Ezekiel was happy about it, she was finally getting the good kind of excitement in her life. Theodora seemed genuinely happy and not just the fake happy she sometimes did to make Ezekiel feel better about herself when she tried to do something for her. Placing a hand under her chin, she listened to the girl and relaxed at the table, chuckling lightly. "Well of course you didnt have to ask - he seemed to be quite fetched with you." she told, laughing lightly.
"I'm so glad you had fun!" Ezekiel told, ignoring the night that snuck up on them and focused on her friend and her ordered coffee. The happiness that glowed from Ezekiel was clear but she didnt want to outshine her friend as the two chatted so she tried to keep it under wraps as best as she could.
Collin rose an eyebrow at how his friend worded his sentence but ignored it. Maybe Kane just didn't like her, or he didn't want to talk about the situation with Collin respected and dropped for the time. Through the class, he worked on the website and watched his friend make a disaster of everything but shook his head, smirking. His mind was on the girl he left just a little while ago. How beautiful and interesting she was - it seemed like a dream. Glancing to his friend / brother he watched him for a few moments before deciding he'd poke him later about what was on his mind.
The class ended and Kane made his way and sat down beside him. "Well that wasn't a disaster." He chuckled, looking at Kane and blinking at him. "What kind of trouble..." he grumbled, looking at him suspiciously. Since him and Ezekiel parted ways - he has been distracted and dazy and Collin wanted to know why.

The words Ezekiel used made her friend giggle. No one else spoke in quite the same way as the witch, which sometimes made Theodora wonder just how old she exactly was. But that was something quite forgotten in the moment of happiness which threatened to overwhelm all else. The brunette couldn't remember another time when her heart had been so glad, save for when Ezekiel had first become her friend.
It was after tilting her head to the side that Theo realized Ezekiel was glowing just as much as she. "You look like you enjoyed yourself just as much as I did! Tell me what happened, please?" Pleadingly the young woman placed a hand upon that of her friend and tugged with the impatience of a child.
He knew it had been a mistake to phrase his sentence that way, though it was very true. Shaking his head at his friend, the blue eyed man smiled a little. Placing a hand upon the wooden bench, Kane leaned back against the wall with a sigh. "I tasted the blood of a woman, and can't get her out of my mind. She also happens to be a witch, called Ezekiel." Turning his head, Kane waited to see how his friend reacted before going on.
"Now I fear that I won't be able to survive without her blood, or her for that matter." It was both a blessing and a curse. Every vampire, whether pureblooded, turned or half-blood, both dreaded and wished for such a thing to happen. This complete dependence on another for survival, this need for a complete binding of souls in a way only reversed by death.... Kane looked to the floor and clasped his hands together tightly.
((If you want me to change something tell me, I was winging it!))

Ezekiel used words that others hadn't used in a long time, true, simply because she had been around the block once or twice too many times. Watching her friend, she sipped her coffee, wondering just what her next step in action would be. Ezekiel was the type that could torment the vampire but she highly doubted she could stand the game long herself. Pursing her lips, she wanted to time how long it would be until he contacted her, and it had only been almost two hours at the moment.
Theodora's words and hand shattered her world and she blinked at the girl then gave her a bit of a smile. "Alright alright." she caved in but leaned in. "But promise me here and now that you wont scream... too loudly." Ezekiel told, knowing she'd shock the hell out of her friend within the next few moments.
The way Kane was acting, Collin had to shut his laptop and pay attention to this. He didn't even had to prod, this was a first for him. At the sound of Kane having tasted another's blood made possibilities explode in his mind. How long ago was it? Who was it? And Kane answered it and his jaw dropped. So while him and Theodora were talking, Kane was biting the witch.
Before he could even stutter in his shock, Kane admitted his fears and Collin leaned against the wall in shock, wondering just how to respond to all of this. It sounded as if Kane almost was either addicted or dependent -now- fully on the witch's blood. "Kane... I don't exactly know what to say to all of this but... wow... okay... um... W-well how does she feel about it?" he said, his curiosity coming back.

Crazy thoughts crashed into the young woman's mind. Her friend, always predictable, had done something she knew would make Theo scream. The very idea of it was so ludicrous that the young woman laughed a little. Though she knew very well Ezekiel would never say something she didn't mean. So Theodora nodded solemnly and tried not to let her imagination run wild. "I promise, now please tell me or I really will scream." The statement was very matter of fact, proving that it was meant.
Though even in this situation a thought of Collin popped up. Theodora found herself wondering what the charming red-head would say about this. A silly smile flickered across her face as she realized that a crush was beginning to develop. Turning serious again, the young woman slipped her hand from her friend's and grabbed the hot chocolate she had absentmindedly ordered.
Turning over what he had said to Ezekiel, Kane could only come to the conclusion that no she did not know of his situation. At the same time he remembered how she had reacted to his bite, which brought a self-satisfied smile to his face. "No, she doesn't know... But has agreed to meet me again, or to at least make the arrangements to. I'll bring it up then, once we've spoken.' The vampire stood and patted his friend on the back as he went to change into his street clothes once more. The time passed quickly enough. With wet hair and thoughts filled with images of the witch, Kane returned to his friend's side.
"Might give you a chance to get to know the other girl, seems like you enjoyed yourself too." Piercing blue eyes gazed penetratingly at the other vampire, before moving on to the doors. It was far past the time for them to leave.
((Sorry it's kind of short.))

Ezekiel bit her lip and figured out how to tell Theodora that she was officially addicted to a vampire. "Well... uhm..." she started, picking at the table cloth and trying to "While you and Collin conversated, me and Kane hung out." she began, but Theodora knew that. Come one Eze - GUTS WOMAN. "He bit me. And I liked it. I really liked it." she rushed out then closed her eyes to brace against her friends reaction.
Ezekiel thought that she'd reject her or yell at her for a stupid, stupid act of a game turned into reality. The witch had been bitten once before but not on her neck and she almost died ripping her wrist out of his mouth. Thankfully - the scars had healed over...
Collin saw the self-satisfied smile that spread across his friends face and he had the mind to jab him in the side to get his attention yet again. But he began speaking and the need for a poke or a jab was no longer necessary and he nodded. "Well I hope you don't bite her again." he told, laughing but nodded to his friend as he went to go change. Theodora filled his mind at his friends absence and he pursed his lips, wondering if the same thing would be happening if he bit her... but he shook his head at the thoughts and vowed not to do that until she wanted it herself.
Getting up, he put his laptop away and slung the bag over his shoulder and shook his head. "Yeah I liked her company but no where near as much as you and Ezekiel did." he poked, chuckling as he followed his friend.

Theodora gazed at her friend with wide eyes after this announcement, then laughed. "Oh Eze! That's nothing to be so worried about! You like what, and who, you like." Reaching out, she patted her friend's hand with a smile. "Besides, don't you think I'll accept pretty much anything with such an extraordinary friend as you?" Returning to her hot chocolate, Theodora kept getting the image of Ezekiel being so flustered.
That was unusual. At one point the witch had gotten into quite a bit of trouble with some hunters of some sort, it had something to do with eradicating magic... Even then she'd remained unflappable. So this truly surprised Theodora, though she wouldn't admit it to her friend.
The vampire said not a words until he and his friend were safely inside the car. Turning his blue eyes to Collin, Kane couldn't help but show the twitch of a lip. Then he burst out laughing as the engine roared to life. "Collin, you should know me better then that." the car leaped onto the roads as if eager to obey the commands of it's driver.
Soon enough the two were on their way home, in the oldest part of town of course. "Look alright, I will see Ezekiel again. And bite her if must be. No one will stop me, save herself... Is that understood?" Kane's tone and demeanor brooked no argument.

Ezekiel hated the awkward silence that fell between them after she admitted what she did. What if Theodora didn't approve of her decisions, of what she did while her and Collin talked? Ezekiel's stomach kept doing flip fops in pure nerves of what she was going to say. But when she did say something, Ezekiel couldn't help but laugh lightly in relief of what she said.
"Well... I wasn't sure you would accept it." she admitted, laughing lightly and sipping her coffee. Ezekiel could handle Satin himself in magic and other magical deeds and still remain stoic... so why this affected her so much was so beyond her that it was beginning to freak her out a little bit.
Collin got into the car, putting his stuff on the floor between his legs and closing the door, locking it and putting the seat belt on then laughed at his friends words and laughter. "Oh I do know you Kane, we didn't spend the last hundred or so years hanging out for me to just ignore you," he told, laughing more.
The familiar setting of the oldest parts of town, he just watched the scenery before his friend started talking then he blinked in confusion then laughed. "Oh Kane - do you think I'd stop you? You and her will do what you please, its not my business nor place to stop it." he told, smiling at his best friend. "I wouldn't, I promise," he assured.

Lifting an eyebrow, the young woman shook her head slightly at this belief. "The only thing I wouldn't be able to accept is my friend not being happy." It was odd though... Ezekiel never really cared what anyone thought, not even Theodora. She would of course, like to have her acceptance, but didn't need it. To say that this was strange was an understatement. The grey eyed girl spent some time thinking of this as she sipped her hot chocolate.
It seemed like forever passed until something else popped from her lips. "It's a lot more then just that bite worrying you isn't it?" Theodora had lived with Ezekiel for a year, and they had spent a lot of that time together. So it would have been unusual if they couldn't pick up on emotional cues from each other. In this case, Theodora could tell her friend was nervous abotu something.
Kane let the car slip into it's spot and turned to his friend with a smirk. "Should I set you up with Theodora to make sure of that? Maybe lock you two into the same room while me and Ezekiel go explore a dark forest or something." The thought made him grin. Now that would be quite the adventure! It also something Kane had wanted to do, but that his friend refused. They were supposed to blend in, obey human rules and go unnoticed...
It was far too boring to imagine. Adventure though, wasn't as fun if you were alone. So it was that the vampire looked forward to finding out if his new witch friend had this same kind of hunger. To share something like that with someone would be one of the greatest adventures of all. A wistful sigh left him as he stepped out of he car.

Ezekiel laughed softly, looking down at her drink. Theodora probably noticed how odd she was acting, and she noticed it too but it was so hard to act normal. Could a bite affect someone this much? Ezekiel almost wanted to go back in time then prevent it from happening in the first place. It was the first time she felt so much... fear and trepidation and she wasn't sure how, exactly, to handle everything at this moment. It was unlike Ezekiel to worry about the consequences to her actions but she couldn't help it - this type of action had serious ones and she needed to address them this time.
"A little..." Ezekiel answered, nodding. It was so like Theodora to speak Ezekiel's mind, they knew each other very well. She tried to figure out how to say what she was truly worried about, biting on her lip in an attempt. "I'm... worried about becoming... addicted." she explained the best that she could, rubbing the back of her neck.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Lock me and Theodora in the same room, what do you want us to mate or something? Wait... dont answer that please! But - a dark forest sounds so your style," he commented, laughing lightly but nodded. It sounded quite like fun, him and Theodora could watch an old movie, have popcorn and such... While Ezekiel and Kane had a conversation they needed to have between them. He got hang-out time in with Theodora, it sounded fantastic!
Getting out of the car with him, he wondered what movie he should play? Did she even notice that he was a vampire? Oh wait - she should have! He bit his lip in thought, following his friend in a daze. Needless to say - Collin wished his best friend the best.

Raising en eyebrow, Theodora tried to think of how likely that was. Considering that she didn't know all the details, her conclusion was obvious. "The chances of that don't seem all that high. You're way too independent for that to happen." There were so many moments Theodora could have cited to her friend that she didn't even bother. Instead the young woman gripped her hot chocolate and finished off the last of it in a gulp.
"It's getting late, we should get back to the apartment." Shivering, the young woman realized how very cold it was. Theodora hated winter, though she loved skating. It was a strange thing. Contradictory feelings which made her an easy target for teasing from her friend. Of course, Theodora could tease Ezekiel just as easily.
Chuckling all the way, Kane finally found himself in front of the door. Unlocking it with ease the vampire could feel himself relax immediately in the space. This was home. It was the only place safe from prying eyes, were Kane could be himself without fear of discovery. Turning to smile at his friend, he waved at the eclectically decorated place. "Hopefully Theodora likes strangeness, because you're certainly that." Pointing at the movies the vampire chuckled. Even they were strange. That of course, was his collection. Collin was a little different. He wanted to be seen as normal, by humans. It made Kane laugh sometimes, this puppyish behavior. Or at least the elder vampire saw it as such.

Ezekiel watched her friend begin to think about how Theodora responded. Against all odds - she assured her that it didnt seem likely that it'd happen. Taking a great deal of comfort within her friends words, the witch gave her a smile that was warm and genuine, expressing her thanks to her. With the many things Theodora did for her - she could never truly express how thankful she really was.
Blinking back to reality - the witch nodded. "I agree." she told, downing the rest of her coffee and standing up, streatching out before moving from the table. Theodora enjoyed teasing Ezekiel about almost everything during the winter and Ezekiel could nit-pick right back. From snowballs to skating, the girls always picked at each other but in a fun way. "Come on - lets get into the car and I'll turn on the heat." Ezekiel told, offering her coat to the girl.
Collin walked into the space, feeling the same comfort in it as Kane did and that made him smile. It was home - just as it had been for quite a few years. No eyes to stare and judge, plenty of space for him to laze around and just hang out. So the place was eclectic, so it was odd - but it was theirs. "Oh? I'm strange? And you are the most normal thing in the world?" he asked, laughing lightly. Collin seemed to be a bit more on the normal side than Kane was but hey - they couldnt share a brain on everything, could they?

A chuckle left Theodora as she stood to follow her friend. Accepting the coat with a nodd, she jogged to the car. Ice and sleet had begun to make it's appearance in the streets. Everywhere there were Christmas decorations making their appearance, though it was only late October. Soon snow would fall, leaving everything looking like a beautiful card. The small town vibe was achieved in such a large place by the charm and elegance of every building's architecture.
Leaning on the car, Theodora sighed. As soon as her friend came in sight she made a smile flit across her face. "I hope I get to see Collin again!"
Kane plopped down onto the couch and rolled his eyes. Flicking the t.v on, he proceeded to remember the taste of blood. A small shiver ran trough the vampire as memories filled his mind. It would be difficult not to think about the delightful witch, and even more so not to mention her for a while. Kane had the feeling that if he did so, Collin might very well explode. It was Collin who wanted love, romance and those kinds of things.
"So Collin, do you think you've finally found someone to spend eternity with?" teased Kane lightly.

Ezekiel knew that she would have to drive slowly so that they didn't spin out and get into a crash, that was the last thing that she wanted - to be responsible or the root cause for the dear girl's injuries, but that was just her paranoia doing her thinking. Halloween was just around the corner and already - Christmas was beginning to rear its beautiful head. She knew how Theodora liked Christmas - and she was already collecting some gifts to give her friend, some that she would absolutely adore or so Ezekiel hoped. She couldn't wait for the snow to fall, Ezekiel always took a nice, long walk on the first snowfall to look around and marvel at the earth's beauty.
"Oh I bet! You two just seemed like the cutest thing, and you're just gushing over him!" she told, getting into the car and turning it on, letting it warm up for a few minutes before she got ready to head on her way.
~
Collin decided to pull his laptop out to avoid thinking of Theodora. The woman was just so... refreshing compared to his daily life. Not that Kane was boring - not by far - but he had gotten used to his life with the fellow vampire. Though he had a feeling that Kane was still hung up on the witch, he couldn't stop talking about biting her again, it sounded to Collin that Kane had found someone he truly cared for.
Collin smiled at Kane's question, pausing his work to think a moment. "Maybe." he answered honestly. "What about you - you seem obsessed enough." he told, chuckling.

Rolling her eyes at her friend, Theodora slipped into the car with relief. Cold had been seeping into her fingers, making the young woman shiver quietly. Winter wasn't her season. Though when Christmas came around everything seemed to be full of magic and joy. Trough chill and snow... It seemed like it had always been that way.
Musing silently about the way things seemed to be going, Theodora watched as trees began to fly by silently. October was nearly at an end, and the yearly dilemma was upon this indecisive young woman. "They should come to our yearly Halloween party, though it's usually only the two of us... Speaking of which, I still can't figure out what to wear!" The strange thing about this decision was the fact that Theodora always had too many ideas in the first place.
____
Letting a yawn escape him, the vampire regarded his friend trough half slit eyes. "Obsessed? Old friend you've never seen me obsessed before, and believe me you'd know right away. This is interest and curiosity. I like the taste of her blood, might need it to survive... But I assure you that I am not obsessed in any way or form." Nodding to himself the red headed Kane flicked trough the channels of the television absentmindedly.
Thoughts whirled around in his mind, until he couldn't think straight. "I'm going out to think," stated Kane simply as he stood and went to vault out of the building from the balcony. Waving once at his friend he jumped out and smiled. He would run to his favorite spot in the park and watch the moon as he so often did on troubled nights.

Ezekiel chuckled, thinking of one of her favorite times of the year. "Really? You normally have it chosen by like... the first." she told, laughing. But she couldn't fault Theodora - she had no idea what to be either. One year - out of lack of anything to wear - she was a witch. The poking Theodora did to her over that made her want to take that broomstick and break it over the girl's head but they had a great laugh over it.
"Ohoh! How about vampires!" she kidded, laughing at herself. Though if the two vampires did come over for their party - they would either spaz out or laugh their butts off at them. Ezekiel - though-, the more she thought of it - the more she liked the idea and was strongly tempted to do it. Theodora didn't have to do it with her - she was going to do it. The witch thought of her wardrobe and pursed her lips, wondering what she had in that dark, infernal abyss that would help her pull off the look she wanted. She could put her hair up somehow, get fangs from the store, paint her nails black; it was sounding awesome to her.

Collin blinked as he got a scolding from his friend. Though he had been half kidding, it seemed there was something different about Kane and he didn't know what to make of it. He just nodded absently and gave him a crooked smile. "Right... sorry..." he managed, though he was just kidding but he didn't voice that. Feeling as though he insulted his friend, he bit his tongue and went back to his computer. It seemed like an eternity before Kane said something and Collin blinked.
"Right - be careful." he told, waving. Seeing him vault out of the building from this high up didn't phase him anymore, though he clearly remembered the time's he did flip out when Kane did that when they first lived together. The memory made him chuckle to himself, shaking his head. Allowing his mind to slip to Theodora, now that Kane was gone, he sat back and sighed, thinking of the girl. If he had tasted her blood - would he be as wonky as Kane was? Or what? Collin sighed, closing his eyes to all the questions and wonder that just... flowed through his brain and he decided to take a shower, trying to get his mind off Theodora.

"I know, but this year is probably going to be different. This costume has to have me looking drop-dead gorgeous." The young woman tilted her head to the side with a cocky grin."If you know what I mean.." She wanted to impress a certain red head, and maybe make him want to know more about her. Of course, the perk of this all was that she could dress way out of her comfort zone for once to figure out how everyone would react.
At the mention of vampires Theodora frowned. There was something bugging her. A flash of white teeth while peaking of ordinary things sprang to mind, making her eyes go wide. As they pulled into the drive of the old victorian style house, Theodora leaped out of the car and accosted her friend the moment they were both safely out of the vehicle. "Alright, tell me the truth... Do vampires really exist?"
The vampire was inexplicably drawn to the outskirts of the town, or at least to what once would have been such a place. A small growl left him as he caught wind of a delectable scent. It would inevitably drive him mad, not being able to truly call her his. Kane found Ezekiel's personality delightful, though her friend seemed... Just a little tame. Shrugging, he settled himself down to watch the scene playing itself out and chuckled. Oh the fun he was going to have the moment Ezekiel was alone!

"Ohhh delightful~" Ezekiel sang, chuckling afterwards. It seemed Theodora wanted to impress a certain someone. Well - Ezekiel hoped she didn't have to try too, too hard in doing that - they seemed rather fond of one another. Ezekiel - on the other hand - wouldn't mind dragging a certain vampire to a dark corner yet again so something with a low collar was definitively appropriate. Dressing out of a comfort zone wasn't unknown to Ezekiel - one year, she lost a bet and had to dress as a stripper and boy was it embarrassing, having all those people look at her. She still blushed thinking about it, 'itching' her nose to hide the color in her face.
The old Victorian house - the one that had belonged to her for generations and had most recently been filled with Theodora's lovely presence and touch. The old witch's house was so boring and dreary until Theodora came in and touched it up with light and color. Normally - Ezekiel would have never thought to paint it or do anything to it since it was an ancient house but Theodora managed to nudge her into it. As soon as she stopped, Theodora confronted her and she blinked, putting her stuff on top of the hood of the car, closing and locking the door. "Do vampires really exist..." she repeated, blinking as the time in the alley flashed into her mind. "Well..." she started, thinking of how to say it. Sitting down against her hood, she sighed, rubbing her head lightly.
Finally able to put her words together, she pursed her lips and looked at Theodora. "Yes." she answered as simply as she could. "But not in the Twilight sense - they don't sparkle, thank the gods." she mumbled the last part, unable to even think about what it would do to the supernatural community of they did sparkle. Instead of being one of the most feared races - they'd be the laughing stock of the rest of the races. "A lot of things exist... but I'm sure you don't want to know all of them. I doubt you'd sleep ever again." she told, getting off her hood and getting her stuff once more.

Biting her lower lip the young woman sighed and turned around to walk into the house. It was a nice pastel yellow, with white trimming. It was a charming place, though if it had been a dark grey color... The place would have made a perfect haunted house. "Well, I'm glad they don't sparkle!" The statement came out loud and clear, since the young brunette was just entering the house. There were two different problems warring in her mind.
What to wear to their little party? There was that stunning blue dress which Theodora had bought on a whim. It was a deep sapphire blue, with gold lace here and there. She had the perfect heels to go with it, and nice jewels flower clips of the same colors to go into her hair. The only thing missing would be wings and she could be fairy! That thought brought a smile to her face, which turned into a frown as she entered her room.
It felt like she'd known Collin for far longer then a few hours. It was strange, but at the same time it felt right. Shrugging, Theodora pulled a piece of crumpled paper from her jeans and went to dial a number into her phone. She waited as it rang, and hoped he wouldn't think she was crazy... Or that she would shun him because of what he was if her suspicions were true. Theodora's best friend was a witch after all.
--------------
A smile flitted across his face as he saw Theodora rush off. Slipping down from his perch, the red head went to join Ezekiel slowly. Kane made sure to make some noise as he approached so as not to come upon her by surprise. It was already bad enough that he had followed this wonderful bundle of magic and humanity without having any kind of permission. Of course it had been wrong, but after so many years spent hiding from humans he didn't very much obey their rules.
Bending down into a sweeping bow, the vampire smiled crookedly. "I apologize for my.. Well frankly for stalking you, but I simply couldn't stay away. And, I didn't show myself earlier, because interrupting your conversation didn't seem like a good idea." Remembering the idea she had of dressing up as a vampire, Kane couldn't help but grin. He had a few friends who would love to dress up such a breathtaking beauty.

Theodora had that look to her face, the one that said that she was possibly angry at the witch. Ezekiel didn't really tell Theodora anything about her world... she was so afraid of breaking that fragile light and humanity the girl had that she did everything she could to keep her safe from it. "Yeah - me too!" she told, chuckling and smiling though it faded as Theodora rushed off into the house. Plopping back onto the hood, Ezekiel stretched out, sighing. The noise made her open her eyes, hoping a demon didn't come for her soul or magic since she was so out of practice - she might blow up the house but the true identity surprised her so much more.
"Kane! What're you doing here? Aside from stalking me? Well at least you know my address now!" she said, chuckling lightly. It suddenly dawned on her when he said that he hid away during their conversation that he kind of knew about her stupid suggestion to dress up as a vampire. She blushed lightly, unaware of what to say at the moment. "W-well I thought dressing up as a witch was so much more tacky." she said in her defense, laughing lightly. But a vampire? She thought it was cool at the moment but in the face of a real one... well that cool idea was much more stupid.
--------
Banging his head against the shower door, he didn't really stop until his head was killing him. He grumbled harshly, wrapping a towel loosely around his waist -what did he have to worry about, he got over his shyness when he started living with Kane!-, he made his way out to the kitchen, wondering what he should munch on. "Oh screw it all - I'm getting pizza!" he grumbled, picking up the house phone to order out.
A little while later - he sat, eating Barbecue Hawaiian pizza and watching a tacky Halloween movie. He stopped celebrating Halloween a while ago and didn't see any change to that coming anytime soon. His phone went off and he let out a string of colorful curses as he spilled his water and the towel slipped as he searched for his phone. "Mother fu-hello?" he said, smiling widely as he tried to pull his towel back up but ended up using it to mop up the water.
