Uncertainly Theodora tried to think of how to ask Collin if her suspicions were true. The moment she heard him speak, the young woman froze. It was bad enough that she was already a bundle of nerves, but adding this cursing to it! Letting out a breath, the brunette closed her eyes and plopped down onto her bed. "Hi Collin, is this a bad time? Either way there's somethign I need to ask you, and please don't think I'm crazy!" The young woman clutched the phone tightly as she stared at her creamy white ceiling. The moldings in her room were actually quite nice, and Theodora was very fond of them.

Collin, I noticed earlier today that you have surprisingly ... Umm, well are you, or do you, believe in vampires?" Sighing loudly, Theodora shook her head at herself. "You know what just forget it!" Fake laughter escaped her lips as she tried to ease the tension within her frame. This was a lot harder then it seemed, and the feeling of silly embarrasment helped not one bit.

---------------------------

The vampire grinned and leaned forward to place a light kiss upon the witch's cheek. "You would look wonderful. I have a few friends who might lend you some of their things. They'll adore this!" Kane moved to lean upon the car beside Ezekiel. Tilting his head to the side he regarded her speculatively. Perhaps this disguise might become reality sometime... But that possibility was non existent at the moment. There was no way this beautiful witch would become a vampire, in reality this was quite impossible. Such thoughts made the red head grimace and look away.

His sensitive ears picked up the sound of someoen upset, and talking to Collin apparently. Returning his gaze to Ezekiel, he poked her. "Later, you might have to sit down and talk with your friend. She's a smart cookie, and already has figured out that Collin is a vampire. " With practiced ease the vampire slipped an arm around Ezekiel's shoulders and pulled her close to his side. "Though... Would you mind setting up a move date with me right now? We missed the last one. You're quite distracting."

The woman seemed on edge, nervous. Collin furrowed his eyebrow and slowly made his way to the couch so that he didnt fall flat on his face yet again. "No, no, not at all." he assured before she continued. The woman begged him not to think that she was crazy and that made his stomach do flip flops. What would make him think that she was crazy...? Think like a human, think like a human... uhm... werewolves, uhm... witches, wait - her friend's a witch. Dammit Collin - you were human not that long ago! Few years. Okay - add zeros. he shut the thought process down. "Of course I wouldn't think you're crazy." he assured, leaning forward and leaning his elbows on his legs.

Collin listened, quietly chewing on his nail in sheer nerves before the bomb of a question hit him. Did he give it away that he was a vampire? CRAP! Trying to think of how to respond, he quickly realized that his answer determined a lot and he couldn't risk answering it wrong and risk her being his future and then screwing up and horribly so. It was right there Collin decided what he needed to say in this situation. Now if only he could play it cool... "Uhm... you know what, I do. Why do you ask, is it that novel you're reading?" he asked, laughing lightly to try and ease her tension. Lord - he could feel her nerves through the phone, he wondered how shaky she was in actual person!

----------------------------------

Ezekiel had to force every color from her face when he kissed her face. "Really? I'm sure they can keep their fangs, I'll just buy some from the store." she joked, looking at his expression. It went from a sort of wonder to a sort of pain and she had to wonder why. As old as this vampire was - he had to be lonely, she could see that and she knew how it was. Shoving those thoughts away, she sighed softly and leaned back on her car, laying on it as she looked at the stars. Oh how they've changed... Ezekiel made a face. God she was so old.

His comment made her close her eyes and sigh once more, leaning up on her elbows. "Yes, I know. She's a very intelligent girl, I was shocked about it when we first met." she admitted, pursing her lips. So Ezekiel couldn't protect Theodora from this world forever, but a vampire was better than a Hunter or a Demon or whatever else existed today. Things crossbred to make new breeds every day and it was too much for even her to keep up with. As he 'put the moves on her' as the kids called it today, Ezekiel sat up to let him do it fully, smiling at the vampire. "Its not totally my fault." she protested, chuckling then nodded. "Sure. Name the movie and I'll tell Theo I'm leaving so she locks the doors." she agreed.

Relaxing her hold on the phone, Theodora took a deep breath. This simply wouldn't do! She had to calm down and think clearly instead of rushing into situations like this. "No it's not the book, it's something I noticed earlier. You see I met this really cool guy and when he smiled I noticed that he had fangs. Now, my friend is pretty strange herself so I asked her about this and she told me vampires existed. So now I'm asking you if you are one." She stood and paced around. The young woman somehow felt a little calmer now that the question had finally left her.

Most people would indeed have called her crazy. The fact that Collin hadn't pushed her to think that he knew some of the strange happenings which sometimes cropped up in any place. The things that no one could explain except Ezekiel. Now maybe she'd found someone else who could help her understand the things Ezekiel hid form her. Of course Theodora knew the witch was only trying to protect her, but she wanted to know!

---------------------

After listening quietly to her words, the vampire closed his eyes briefly with a chuckle. It rumbled trough his chest and reached the ground in a way no laugh had done in quite some time. "I was talking about clothes." Taking a deep breath Kane savored the smell of her, the first person who was with him knowing what he was... And wasn't a vampire herself. She wanted to spend time with him! It was amazing and brought up sweet and warm feelings were before everything had been ice cold.

"You're right, I'm partly to blame. Ahh, now what movie... Perhaps we could go and see Catch me If you Can It's an older one, but they're having a showing someplace in town. The same place we nearly went to earlier." Pulling away from the dark haired witch, Kane smiled and motioned towards the house. "You might as well go tell her. Otherwise she might worry and convince Collin to come play knight to her damsel in distress." The words made him smile, actually smirk, because it reminded him of his first years as a vampire. Those had been the days!

Collin listened to every breath she took, reading it as best as he could without asking her fully what was wrong with her. Then he listened to her explanation and he had to chuckle softly at a few parts of her words. "Ah so your friend isn't... normal. I would so love to hear your definition of 'normal' m'dear. You're very observant." he complimented, grinning to himself at his home. Collin was so glad that no one could see that grin. The grin itself would scare most people away and not because of the teeth, because of the pure, brilliant joy of it. He knew he had chosen a smart girl, but a smart girl that accompanied a supernatural? Oh this couldn't get better! Now he didn't have to go about the annoying task of explaining everything to her.

"Well... to answer your question... Yes." he answered with a smirk. Theodora was a unpredictable wrapped with life topped with something that made him feel in a way he hadn't felt in a long, long time. Like he was alive once more and he clung to that as hard as he could, finding that he was quite fetched with Theodora suddenly and he smirked softly to himself once more.

------------------------------------

His laugh sent shivers down her spine and she wanted to touch his chest to feel the sensation of it but refrained and simply looked at him. "Ahh. As was I, Dracula." she kidded, chuckling softly as she leaned her head to the side to give him access to her neck without realizing it. She kept forgetting that he was a vampire, and she knew that people liked to cuddle into the neck for some reason so it was instinctive.

Ezekiel hummed in agreement when he said that it was partially his fault and continued to listen. "Alrighty. I guess we can do that, since you didn't bring a car, I'll drive." she said, chuckling lightly and started to pull away when he did. "I am sure she will do it anyway." she told over her shoulder as she went to the door and entered it, going up the steps quietly by instinct and popping into Theodora's room, not bothering the conversation, she held up notebook that said 'going out to movies with Handsome, lock doors and let no one only Collin in!' she told and waited for Theodora's gesture of 'get out' or acknowledge before she left, chuckling. Making her way back to the vampire, she gave him a sweet smile and motioned for him to get into her car.

Theodora sighed in relief when she heard his laughter. It meant that everything would be alright, even if he wasn't a vampire. The young woman hadn't wanted to fall for a regular run of the mill guy, and either way it didn't seem like Collin could ever be seen as that. Moving from the bed to her window seaet she glanced outside and smiled to herself. "Well you could always come over..." Laughing a little at herself she quieted to hear the rest of the conversation.

As he answered her question her eyes opened wide. If he was a vampire, then perhaps his friend was one too. Which meant... Turning at the sound of her door opening, the young woman glanced at the message and waved Ezekiel away with a smile. She would be gone, and Theodora would be alone. Maybe it would be nice if they both had the company of handsome men."In that case, I have so many things to ask you! Though, it might be awkward on the phone." Theodora rattled off her address absentmindedly as she wondered what in the world she was getting herself into. Then she remembered that Ezekiel had said it was alright if Collin came over, which meant that even if the witch knew what he was she trusted him.

----------

Kane chuckled then slipped into the car with care. He didn't really need it, in fact he coudl have picked up his delightful witch and brought her to the movies. A well, maybe next time. "Maybe tomorrow we could go for a nice walk in the darkest part of the forest. Quite typical I know, but Collin always refuses to go with me." His brother dear annoyed him with his behavior. Kane had said so many times, and he would keep saying so for the centuries to come.

Sometimes he almost regreted turning his friend from human to vampire. At the time he'd thought to have no choice at all. Kane had done it out of selfishness too... The vampire was plagued by loneliness, and with Collin by his side at least he had a friend to spend the rest of his life with. He thought the other red head was lucky, at least his immortality could be reversed under the right circumstances. Glancing to Ezekiel, he leaned over to place a soft kiss upon her neck as soon as she had seated herself beside him. He hoped things worked out between them for oh so many reasons.

Collin never expected this. He planned and planned and planned, but -like Kane- was so caught off guard with the girl that accompanied the witch that he had to just stop trying to predict or even plan her reactions to his words. Her suggestion to come over made a slight tint come to his face as he thought about seeing her again. God was he smitten already? At least he didn't have it as bad as Kane did at this point. His best friend and brother had a borderline obsession with the new female, the witch, and had even bit her in the first night they were together. Collin fully expected him to come home one day soon telling him that Ezekiel was carrying his offspring. A vampire and a witch mixed? Oh that he had to see! The admitting of what he was came and Collin began the process of the thing he hated most: waiting.

The silence that coated the other end of the phone made Collin so nervous, that if his heart was still beat, it would have been stopping out of sheer nerves. Her answer and her rattling off her address made his insides flood with relief, knowing that she didn't think he was insane or even weird. She accepted him... accepted him. Without qualm, hesitation, fear - without it all. Oh he wanted to kiss her in that moment, a wide grin on his face. "You may ask me anything you please. When I get there." he openly invited, laughing lightly. "Is it okay with your friend - Ezekiel was it?" he asked, grabbing a shirt in preparation. The last thing he wanted was to be chased from a home by a pissed off witch, hurling fire spells after him.

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ezekiel began driving expertly, having learned way back when; smiling at the kiss to her neck. Again - she felt like she was so old. "He always refuses to go with you? Well why not - its the most lovely thing! Though Theodora tends to not want to go with me as well." she told, chuckling. Ezekiel wasn't sure if it was because Theodora was always wrapped up in her book or because Ezekiel was terrified of bringing Theodora with her in the event of an attack from a Lycan or another vampire that wanted the taste of a witches blood. Kane was the first to bite her.

Unlike Collin - Ezekiel was in the same boat as Kane: cursed with her immortality due to unforeseeable circumstances. She was a great witch, born of a great line that was older than most witches. Unlike most other witches, Ezekiel was immortal, gaining that 'gift' when she was about eighteen which was why she looked so young. And by god - the process of turning her immortal was one of the most barbaric known to any species that were immortal and her pale, small body still carried the scars that she hid to this day, along with the tattoo's down her back that marked her as a witch.

Finally landing at the movie theater knocked the witch out of her angst-y thoughts and she smiled at Kane. "Horror, romance, thriller or comedy?" she asked, seeing all four categories up. Unfortunately - Ezekiel had not seen previews for any of the movies, most commonly letting Theodora pick the movies since Ezekiel was still 'stuck' in a time where TV was science fiction as Theodora put it.

"Don't worry, she said you could come over." She was looking forward to it, this conversation. A vampire, she was going to talk with a vampire! Theodora shifted around in her bed after listening to Collin. After hanging up the phone, she ran to her closet. Looking trough everything she frowned. It didn't seemed like there was anything beautiful enough, and casual enough, for this little meeting. Had it only been a few hours since the last time they'd talked?

Slipping into a skirt and an emerald colored, short sleeved, shirt, the young woman ran to the mirror once more. Posing and turning Theodora nodded to herself. With that done, the young woman ran downstairs to wait impatiently by the door.

--------

During the drive, he looked around quite cautiously. What if someone took notice of them? A witch, and a vampire ... What a mix! They would draw the supernatural eye like flowers drew bees. Shrugging a little, he turned again to Ezekiel. "Hmm, I feel like some suspense right now. A thriller sound good to you my dear?" Reaching out to tug a little at her hair, he then turned away and let his green eyes roam trough the parking lot. It was a good thing he'd eaten earlier, otherwise this feast would have been unbearable.

"Ah good!" he said, giving the air another big grin. Eventually - they hung up and he didn't know what he was going to wear now. He wasn't one for impressing but he didn't want the girl to think that he was just plain lazy in dressing himself! Kane said so a few times over... but that was a while back. Chewing on his nail, he sighed lightly and rubbed the back of his head before throwing a pair of dark pants on and a dark yellow shirt that had 'I'm a ray of sunshine' on it with an evily grinning sun on it.

Deciding he looked decent, Collin then put his shoes on and headed out, locking up behind him and began making his way to Theodora's house so he could get interrogated by the girl. Or what ever she had in mind regarding her questions.

------------------

Somehow - Ezekiel was not worried about being seen with the man. If the supernatural wanted to try her -for what ever twisted reason- they were welcomed to do just that: try. "Thriller sounds fine." she told, giving him a nice smile as she got out of her car. Locking it up, she began making her way to the theater doors.
