Plenty of people are complete hypocrites (see most of the Republican party specifically Senate/state politicians, for example), and you shouldn't always believe everything you read.
It's only
two times as much as the average
family uses. And frankly, with a larger house than the average family, and considering the area he lives in, that's not surprising. His energy usage is much more comparable to others around there. Plus, he pays a premium on his energy bill to obtain it from "greener" sources.
I do agree that it's 'hypocritical', and he deserves a knock to the head--he should be the
greenest of them all, but, exaggeration and defamation of a
single person doesn't really help your point, especially when you're wrong. o_O
I'd also like to point out, at his core, he is a politician. Politicians tend to have lots of money...for doing absolutely nothing but making laws to help them.
You want a better world? Eliminate career politicians. We'll become green lickety-split AND our civil rights will be enhanced because we are not under the golden thumb of the rich, who like to make pointless tax breaks for
themselves. ;)
