"I'm not hungry." Sasuke stated. And even though at that moment his stomach growled loudly, he just closed the door and went to lay back down on his bed. He'd go get something to eat after everybody went to bed. That way nobody could bother him and his mother couldn't complain that he didn't come down to dinner.

Itachi let out a sigh as the door was slammed on him again. Walking back down the stairs he placed some plastic wrap on top of the plate of food, and then placed the plate in the fridge. He let out a yawn as he looked at the clock, noticing that it was getting rather late. Kissing his mother and father good night he went back up the stairs and closed the door as he stripped down and got dressed in his pajamas. He sat on his bed a little bit as he went flipping through the channels before settling on the new age music station. Turning his light off he closed his eyes as he snuggled into his covers and fell asleep.

Sasuke heard Itachi go to bed. Not to long later, his parents. He layed there for a while longer before slipping out of bed and going downstairs. He didn't want to make noise, so he made a sandwich in the dark and ate it quickly, getting some milk to wash it down. Then he returned to his room, strippped down to his boxers and laid back down. After a few minutes, he went to sleep. But he didn't sleep for very long. This time when he woke up, he stayed where he was. He wasn't going to bother Itachi.

Itachi opened his eyes when he heard the door to Sasuke's door open. He had always been a light sleeper. He opened his door quietly as he heard his brother go walking down the stairs. He smiled though when he knew that his younger brother was getting something to eat. He wanted to go and see his brother, to make sure that he was alright, but then he stopped himself from getting out of bed. This was something that could wait until morning. He closed his eyes again, but after about an hour he found himself unable to fall asleep.

Sasuke rolled over and sighed. There was no way he was getting any more sleep tonight. And though he didn't want to, his body moved on its own out the door and to Itachi's room. His hand raised and knocked lightly. If his brother was asleep, then he'd go back to his room and deal with not being able to sleep on his own. If he wasn't and answered, then he didn't know what he would do.

Itachi heard the tentative knock on the door as he kicked the covers off of his body. Walking over to the door he opened it to reveal his brother standing there, looking smaller and frailer than he remembered. "Yes?" asked Itachi. He wasn't annoyed with his brother, quite the exact opposite actually, but he was a little sour still about the way that he was treated by him earlier when he tried to offer the other male dinner.

"Did I wake you?" Sasuke asked, looking at the floor, a bit nervous. He really didn't want to have woken him up. That wouldn't be very good. And he instantly felt bad about being so mean to him when he was just trying to help. If he could take it back, he would. But he can't.

Itachi looked at his brother as he shook his head. "No," replied Itachi flatly as he walked back into his room, but kept the door open. "You know you can come in right. I was already up anyway. I felt bad that I yelled at you, and I wanted to make sure that you got something to eat. You did eat didn't you?" Itachi stopped then looked at his brother again as he went to go sit on his bed. He made a motion and patted the area on his bed that was next to him. "Why have you been so moody lately? Is everything alright, at school, at home?"

Sasuke was relieved that he hadn't woken Itachi up. That was good. Though he wasn't sure why his brother was apologizing. It was his fault, after all. He nodded to the question. "Yeah.. I ate." he told him. He automatically moved and took a seat next to his brother. Moody? He hadn't been moody? Has he? "....I'm fine... Nothing's wrong.." he told him. Sure, partly a lie. Ok. Mainly a lie. Everything was wrong. But he didn't want to explain it to his brother.

Itachi was glad when he heard that his brother had at least gone downstairs to eat something. He yawned a little as he looked at his clock on the table. "I am so glad that tomorrow is Saturday," thought Itachi as he turned his head and smiled at his brother. He heard what his brother was saying, and he turned and gave him a rather hard look. "Don't lie to me, Sasuke," said Itachi as he leaned closer and took his younger brother's chin in his hand. "I know that something is wrong. Will you please tell me."

Sasuke froze when Itachi grabbed his chin. And his heart started beating faster. "I'm not lying!" he exclaimed. He stood and headed to the door, stopping there and looking back at his brother. "I'm sorry for bothering you." With that said, he left the room and went back to his own, closing the door behind him and laying on the bed. How had Itachi known that he was lying?! But then again, it wasn't like he could tell him what was wrong.

Itachi, if he didn't know beforehand, knew now that the bluenette had been lying to him. There was something bothering his brother and he wanted to know. Was it someone at school, was it something at home?! He just had to know. He was about to ask when he saw his brother get up from the bed, whisper out an apology, and then leave his room as he heard the door to Sasuke's room close. "Hell no!" thought Itachi as he got off of his bed. He was going to get to the bottom of this if it took all night. Getting off of his bed he walked to Sasuke's room and turned the handle of the door, not even bothering to knock. The house was so silent that he could have heard the door lock, and it wasn't locked. Opening the door he walked into the room to find his younger brother laying on his bed.

Leaning against the dresser he looked at him as he closed the door, locking it, behind him. "So do you want to talk?" He glared at his brother, hard enough to show the other male that he meant business, but nice enough to show that he was only concerned.

Sasuke heard Itachi come into this room. He just turned over so that his back was to him. "No. I don't want to talk. I want to be left alone." he stated. Why was his brother being so persistent about this? He just wanted to be left alone! Why was that so hard to understand?! He wasn't going to talk to Itachi about it. His brother was the last person he wanted to talk to.

Itachi glared at his brother, this time in anger, as he approached his brother and took the boy's wrists and pinned them above him. Not hurting him, but wanting to show him that there was absolutely no escape in site. He then took his other hand and put it under Sasuke's chin as he raised it to meet his gaze. "Say that to me again when you know I can break your wrist with a flick of mine," said Itachi with a devilish smirk. He knew that he wasn't going to really break his younger brother's wrist, but he didn't want his brother to know that. He wanted his brother to be placed in sheer terror. Enough terror that he would say something.

Sasuke wasn't expecting for Itachi to pin his wrists. He instantly glared at his brother, trying to get his wrists free. But when he heard what the other said, he froze, his eyes going wide. He was kidding, right?! He had to be. His heart stopped for a moment before it began racing. "You wouldn't really, would you?" he asked, needing to know. He couldn't completely keep the fear out of his eyes.

Itachi just looked down at his brother and gave him a devilish grin and said,"Well, maybe," said Itachi as he looked at his younger brother who was pinned still on the bed. "It depends, honestly, are you going to tell me what is bothering you?" Itachi squeezed Sasuke's wrists a little bit to prove his point.

Sasuke shook his head. "No. I won't tell you." he told him. He really didn't think Itachi was going to break his wrists. He'd get in trouble with Mother and Father, right? So he wasn't to concerned. Even if his heart was beating a bit faster. He just couldn't make it slow down, no matter what he did.

Itachi bit back a bark of laughter as he looked at the other male. He had to admit his brother had spunk and a certain finesse about him. He also knew that he really wasn't going to break Sasuke's wrist. He could get away with certain things, but he knew for a fact that he wasn't going to be able to get away with something like this. He could feel his brother's heart beating. Practically hear it if he concentrated. He knew that pain wasn't going to make his brother tell him what was wrong with him, so what if he took it the other way. Bending down he kissed his brother's lips as he licked his bottom lip begging for entrance into his mouth.

Sasuke froze and his eyes widened when Itachi kissed him. This was not something he was expecting. He kept his mouth firmly closed. There was no way he was going to let his brother do this. He immediatly began trying harder to get him off of him. He really needed his space. A part of him was hoping that this was just a dream and not really happening. It would be easier to deal with that way.

Itachi felt Sasuke stiffen under him, but then he shook his head when he felt Sasuke push against him to try to let go of him. He nibbled on his brother's bottom lip a little bit as he tightened his grip on his brother's wrists. One way or another he was going to get the truth out of his brother if it killed him.

Sasuke still didn't give in. He just tried harder to get Itachi off of him. He really didn't understand why his brother was kissing him in the first place. It didn't make sense to him. Plus, he knew that it was wrong, so it had to end. Now.

Itachi, clearly seeing that his brother was not going to budge, decided to get off of his brother. He wasn't making it easy at all on either of them. Letting go of his brother's wrists he got off of the bed, and went towards the door. He opened it, but then turned to his brother. "Very well," said Itachi as he looked at his brother. "If you're not going to tell me, I am done trying to pry it out of you. If you do want to talk though, I'll be in my room watching T.V. since I am up now." Once Itachi was up, there was no way that he would be able to go back to sleep, especially knowing that there was something bothering his cute, innocent, and sweet brother.

Sasuke was relieved when Itachi got off of him. Sitting up, he rubbed his wrists as he listened to Itachi speak. "I'm not going to want to talk." he stated. Especially not with his brother, seeing as he was the one that was the problem. If it wasn't for him, he wouldn't be so mad at everything. He moved so that he was under the blankets again and closed his eyes.

Closing the door behind him he went back to his own room and closed that door as well as he turned on the T.V. Flopping down on his bed he flipped through the channels again. Finding nothing, which didn't surprise him at this hour, he turned off the T.V., turned on the light, and went to his bookcase to get a book. Finding one, he went back to his bed and began reading it. Mostly he wanted to get his mind off his younger brother who was across the hallway from him.

Sasuke couldn't fall back asleep. But there was no way he was going to go talk to Itachi and bother him again. Besides. He wasn't sure what his brother would do if he tried talking to him again. So he just turned on his lamp and read a book. This should help him through the night.
