Naomi rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, well, when you need them all to die at the same time, let me know, I can help then," she joked back. Reaching back, she twisted her hair up and off of her neck. "It's probably just me, but is it really warm out here?"

Osanna tilted her head to the side, guaging the weather. Warmer than home, I believe, she said. She didn't mind heat so much, though.

"Great," Naomi replied dryly. "It was already getting warm back home." She held her hair off of her neck for a few more moments, but eventually had to let it fall again. She didn't have any hair ties on her. Absently, she tucked the blue section behind her ear.

Osanna held out the leaf again with a look, just daring her to argue. Although once she got free reign and permission to do so, she could have a lot of fun in this garden.

Naomi stuck out her tongue, but took the leaf anyways. She knew better than to argue too much with Osanna.

Osanna smiled, pleased, and continued browsing through the plants, mentally naming them all and making a list of what she didn't have at home.

Naomi tagged along, following her friend. After a few minutes, though, she realized there was another presence not too far away that was brushing against her senses. It felt vaguely familiar, but she had no idea why.

"I'll be right back," she said to Osanna. Turning, she went towards where she sensed the other person.

Osanna blinked but didn't interfere, instead settling down among the plants, just relaxing and listening.

Naomi followed one of the paths, looking for the person she sensed. As she got closer, she could tell the person was probably somewhere around a Level Four, though it didn't surprise her much.

"I know you're around here somewhere," she murmured.

Yukina was in the garden as well, although much farther back. She looked up when she heard someone approaching and paused when she saw Naomi. She didn't recognize her.

"Are you lost?" she asked quietly, kindly. She blinked once.

Naomi blinked.

"No, I'm... well, actually I'm not entirely sure anymore," she admitted. She hadn't been paying attention to where she was going at the time. At the moment, all she could think about was that someone 'up there' really did care about her. That was the only possible explanation for finding another elemental of her type in this climate. "My friend and I kind of got dropped off here, and then people started walking away, and we kind of started to wander around."

Yukina looked rather startled. "Oh. Have you seen Genkai yet? So she knows you're here?" She didn't want Genkai to get angry. She could tell that the young woman before her was obviously an elemental like herself. That was interesting.

"Yeah, she's one of the ones who kind of just walked away," Naomi replied. "Something about not babysitting. Today's already been really weird, though, so I'm not exactly sure what's normal anymore."

Yukina nodded. "Genkai is like that sometimes. But she can be very nice, too. She lets me stay here when I need to, after all." She smiled a little.

"If you don't mind my asking, who else have you met so far?"

"Entirely too many high-levels for my peace of mind," Naomi replied promptly. "Being more specific... The ones that dropped off my friend and I were Yusuke, Hiei, and Kurama."

"Oh." Yukina smiled and then looked at her, really for the first time. Her eyes widened. "Um... Would you like something else to wear? I'm a little shorter than you, but we should be able to find you something if you'd like."

Naomi looked down at herself. Yep, still in her pajamas.

"I guess that depends," she said. "How much warmer does the weather get around here?"

"In the summer, very warm, I'm told," Yukina said. "I usually return home for the summer."

"Home for me gets hot in the summer, too," Naomi said. "Granted, I'm probably slightly better equipped to deal with it, but I still try to cram myself into the walk-in freezer." She grinned slightly. "Otherwise, I turn up the air conditioning."

Yukina couldn't help but giggle. "Do you and your friend share a house?" She was curious. Sharing with Genkai was pretty nice, but then again Genkai had so much room she probably barely noticed.

"No," Naomi replied. "I wouldn't do that to Osanna. She has her own place and I have mine." She paused, and then went on, curious, "why do you share with Genkai? You mentioned going home for the summer, so why come back?"

"I like it here. Besides, I'm searching for my brother, you see. I've never met him, and the others are kind enough to help me look for him..." Yukina smiled a little. "They've all been very good to me."

"Well, I hope you find him, then," Naomi replied. "I have a half-brother and a pair of half-sisters, I haven't seen them since I was like ten." She paused. "Actually, no, I saw them while I was away at specialty school, but we didn't really interact at all, so that doesn't really count."

Yukina blinked, obviously confused, but decided to drop it when Osanna came trotting over, looking very pleased. "Is this your friend?"

Naomi nodded and turned to Osanna.

"Look, I found a friend!" she said, grinning. "Find anything interesting?"
