Naomi blinked and opened her mouth to reply before closing it again. She really had to think about this one. Tentatively, she reached out with her youki to try to get a feel for them.

Trowa shivered briefly but didn't say anything, just waiting on her verdict. He was kind of curious now.

"Elemental?" Naomi offered finally. "Metaphysical? One of you is definitely elemental, it's kind of a distinctive feel." She gestured to Quatre, whose eyes widened. Then she looked at Trowa. "The closest I can compare you to is a water sprite I know, but you don't feel like water. You're closer to wood." She shrugged a bit. "Dryad, maybe?"

"Dryad?" Trowa blinked, looking startled. They were all startled, apparently. Weird stuff.

"I've never met a dryad before, so I'm not completely sure," Naomi disclaimed. "But it's a lot more likely than anything else, I think."

"Uh huh." Trowa eyed her. Dryad? Really? Then he snorted. "We still don't know this is all true."

"What more do you need?" Naomi asked. "I showed you the book, I showed you what I can do. There's not really anything more I can do to prove it."

"Duo said he traveled with you." Trowa eyed her. "If the book is accurate it should be able to take all of us, in a little while."

"If it feels like it," Naomi grumbled. She paused for a moment. "One at a time, though. I can't keep track of everyone at once in a world I'm not from."

Trowa shrugged. He didn't much care.

"How about we go to your home world?" Duo called. Because he could definitely hear them from outside. Because he's Duo.

"I did promise that, didn't I?" Naomi called back. "I need to pick up Osanna first, then we can."

"Sounds fair," Duo called back. He could wait for a bit; he didn't mind. He was sure it would be worth it once they could go.

With that, Naomi glanced at the others.

"Anything else?" she asked. "I can make it snow inside, if that helps."

"No. I think I'll just wait until we take our... trip." Trowa glanced at her. "Any idea how long until you'll be able to take us?" Because if it was going to take a while, he'd either have to make arrangements or go and then come back.

"No clue," Naomi said. "Whenever the Book decides enough is enough. I seem to be at its mercy at the moment."

Trowa nodded. That would have to be good enough for now, apparently.

"Alright," Naomi said. "Then I'm going to go back to playing with this ridiculously expensive tablet that Duo assures me is really actually very cheap and almost obsolete." She grinned. "I know exactly who to come to for PC repairs now."

Trowa snorted. "He does a lot of repairs," he said, his voice dry. "He's good at it, and he likes it."

"Apparently my PC uses outdated coding," Naomi commented. "It's not outdated where I'm from. And I kind of almost overheat it on a regular basis because it gets full of dust. But it shouldn't anymore, apparently. I let him fiddle with it before."

"If he fiddled with it, it'll be running great." Trowa shrugged. That was normal. Duo was the mechanic of the group, after all. They all knew some mechanics, but he knew the most. Because the crazy guy liked it.

"Apparently it's amazing," Naomi said. "I haven't had a chance to really put it through its paces yet." She gave a sort of sheepish grin. "I'm not kind to my hardware."

Trowa snorted and muttered something along the lines of "don't know the meaning of not kind". Because really? They'd been much, much worse to their hardware.

"By my definition, I'm not kind to my hardware," Naomi said, pouncing on the topic. "Nobody seems to want to explain the definition that seems to be used here."

"There's a good reason for that," Heero interrupted. Because he was still paranoid. And even if she wasn't from that world, he didn't like sharing. Trowa just rolled his eyes at Heero.

"If there wasn't, the paranoia levels around here wouldn't be so high," Naomi pointed out. "Which is why I'm really not pushing. I figure it has something to do with the giant robot, but honestly? It's a giant robot. I'm just going to go with it."
