Osanna shrugged. Maybe she has other powers. Not all of our talents are destructive, you know.

"Maybe," Naomi agreed. "There's only so much you can do with ice, though... Who knows."

Osanna nodded. You could ask her, she signed with a shrug. Can't hurt, right?

"Probably not," Naomi agreed. "I might ask. For the moment, though, I'm just glad I found someone who appreciates the cold as much as I do."

Osanna nodded her agreement, just sitting quietly for a little while. It was nice to have quiet time.

After a few minutes, Naomi got up and stretched.

"I'm going to head inside again," she said.

Osanna nodded. I'll be in after a bit, she said, yawning briefly.

"Alright," Naomi said. Turning, she went inside to see if she could find a place to bunk for the night.

Genkai had bullied Yusuke into helping her set out cots and blankets for everyone. Ed and Al had already claimed two for themselves, and Yusuke plopped down onto the last one to be brought in. Hiei just stood by the door, watching.

Naomi glanced at the cots briefly before claiming one for herself. That left one for Osanna when she came back inside.

Yusuke yawned and stretched out briefly before settling down to sleep. Ed and Al stayed off in their corner, and Osanna stayed outside for a while. Insomnia could be a bitch.

As much as Naomi wanted to wait up for Osanna, she ended up drifting off to sleep. The room wasn't as cool as she would have liked, but she managed to fall asleep anyways.

Kurama, on the other hand, noticed Osanna hadn't come back inside, and went out into the garden to see what she was up to.

Osanna was laying in the grass with her arms behind her head, just staring up at the sky. Occasionally she'd move to touch one of the plants around her, or wiggle a bit to get more comfortable, but she didn't move other than that.

"Still can't sleep?" Kurama asked softly when he saw her. It was obvious to him that she had talent; all of the plants around here were absolutely ecstatic.

Osanna shook her head and smiled a little, sitting up and looking up at him. She didn't know if he understood sign language or not, and she didn't have pen and paper on her, so communicating might be very interesting.

"May I?" Kurama asked, gesturing to a spot next to her. He noticed she didn't have anything to write with, so he figured simple questions were best for the moment.

Osanna nodded with a little smile, making sure he had lots of room.

Kurama gave her a small smile and sat down next to her.

"It's a nice night out here," he commented. "Similar to the weather back around your home." It was a safe enough conversational topic.

Osanna nodded her agreement with a little smile. It was nice outside. She brushed the grass next to and around them, enjoying the feel of the cool blades.

"You're very talented," Kurama commented, watching the grass react to her touch. It was odd having such a one-sided conversation, but it wasn't overly strange. "You must work with your plants whenever you get a spare moment."

Osanna shook her hand a little, to signify that she tried. Then she shrugged helplessly.

It took Kurama a moment longer to figure out what she was trying to say.

"I must confess I'm nowhere near as skilled as your friend in deciphering actions," he admitted. "I tried to stick to simple topics... I guess it didn't work as well as I had hoped."

Osanna smiled and then got an idea. She started writing in the grass, making the blades bend to form her words. It worked okay until I had more than one word to say.

Kurama chuckled as he read the words.

"Then it would probably benefit us both for me to start studying sign language, hm?" he replied. "Wonderful idea, by the way."
