Naomi settled in for the ride as well, watching out the window as the scenery went by. She was kind of interested in what the city looked like, and was a bit disappointed when she realized it wasn't any different than any other city she'd ever been to.

Osanna noticed that and grinned. Yes, it is just a city, she agreed. It's big, though.
Harry slowed down as they got to the suburbs and he turned onto the street, slowing to park in front of Molly's house. "Alright, grasshopper. Go sleep."

"Already planning on it," Molly said as she climbed out of the car. Before she closed the door, she added, "Thanks, boss."
Naomi rolled her eyes a bit.
At least it's interesting to watch it all go by, she pointed out.

Harry nodded and watched her go inside before he started driving again, heading for his apartment. He didn't expect any more problems now, hopefully.
Osanna grinned and nodded. Agreed. It's kind of pretty.

Kinda, Naomi agreed. She grinned. Imagine it around Christmas, all lit up and covered in snow. Now that would be pretty.

Osanna nodded. She liked to play in snow, but not when it was so fricken cold as Winter had been. Snow in Chicago she could deal with.
Too bad we don't know where we'll be by then.

Hopefully, we'll be home, Naomi pointed out. She hoped that they would get a good snowfall at home this year; she wanted to build a snow fort to end all snow forts.

Osanna nodded and settled in to wait until they got back to Harry's apartment. At least she was warmer now.
Harry parked and let them out before he unlocked the door, shoving it open.

Naomi got out of the car first, and stepped aside so Osanna could get out as well. Now it seemed like it was just a waiting game, to see when they would end up being 'moved' again. She really hoped they would end up back home, but somehow, it didn't seem likely.

Osanna went down the stairs and flopped on the couch. She was tired, and she didn't know why. Well, except for the soul-sucking cold from Faerie, but still...
Harry sighed as he put his rod and staff away, taking off his duster and settling himself in his chair. "You two okay?"

"I am," Naomi replied, perching on the arm of the couch. "She will be soon." Reaching up, she ran her fingers through her hair and pulled the front section across her eyes so she could see the ratio of colors. "Yeah, mostly normal."

"Mostly normal?" Harry sounded amused by that, watching her with a little smile. He'd noticed her hair color, but not the change in ratio, and he'd figured she'd just dyed her hair, like Molly had done.

"Yeah," Naomi replied, letting her hair go again. "There's a little more blue there than there should be, but it's still mostly normal, so I'm not all that worried about it. I'm sure there was a lot more of it while we were out traipsing about in the snow."

Harry blinked. He was briefly very confused about what she meant before he managed to figure it out.
"That blue stripe has something to do with your powers, then?"

Naomi nodded.
"Yeah," she said. "See, my father's got hair this color," she briefly twisted the blue around her finger before letting it go, "and I got this little bit from him. This much of it here is about normal. It grows and shrinks depending on how much power I have and how much control I have over it." She didn't add that she'd only ever been completely blue once, and it scared the shit out of her to be so out of control.

Harry nodded, considering that briefly. Then he shrugged and relaxed. "Well, that certainly is interesting. You have anything like that?" He looked over at Osanna.
Osanna shook her head. She didn't have a physical sign of her powers.

"I've got it because I'm a half-breed," Naomi added. "Osa's a bit more human than I am, so she looks human." She mock-pouted and gave her friend a playful nudge. "Lucky."

Osanna rolled her eyes and shoved back, just as playfully. Looking more human meant she was underestimated, or ignored entirely. So, some good, some bad.

Naomi couldn't help but grin. She and Osanna always teased one another like that.
"But yeah," she said after a moment, looking back at Harry. "The blue isn't dye, but I just let people think it is most of the time."

"Probably easier that way," Harry agreed. "You said you're called demons where you're from, right? How common are others like you?"

"Extremely common," Naomi replied. "I think the earth's population is split up... sixty-forty, maybe, in favor of the humans? Maybe closer to seventy-thirty? Then you have to factor in half-breeds like me, legacies like Osa... Thing is, anything that isn't considered 'human' is automatically lumped into 'demon,'" she explained. "There are all sorts of different flavors once you get into the 'demon' heading... Like I said before, I'm an elemental-based type. There are all kinds of others."

"I figured," Harry admitted, looking between the two of them. "We don't have classifications like that here. Not for wizards, at least." He shrugged.

"Oh I haven't even gotten into classifications yet," she said brightly. "There are technically seven power level classifications, too, that go with the different elements or species and what-have-yous."

"Oh Bob would love you," Harry muttered. "He's an air spirit. He gathers information. If he doesn't know it, then you're not likely to find anyone who does. For things about this realm, anyway."
