Naomi nodded. She wanted to finish her coffee, too. And maybe get more.

Al grinned back at Osanna. See, he knew he could get his brother to agree. Not that it was hard, usually, but still.

Osanna waited patiently for them to be done and dressed again. Well. Mostly patiently. Every so often she'd look over at Al like "how much longer can they take?!"

Ed finally finished and got ready to go, leading the way to the train station. It would take another few hours to get to Central, but oh well. This was the fastest way to go.

Naomi finished getting ready just after Ed did, and she followed everyone to the train station. The steam train wasn't quite so strange and unusual to her, now, although she did miss the diesel and electric ones from home.

Mental note, she signed to Osanna, grinning, introduce Winry to a simple airplane.

Osanna grinned. She'd have a freaking field day, she signed back. Because she knew Winry would just have far too much fun with that.

I joked about giving her power tools for her birthday, Naomi added, grinning. They have advanced enough electricity here that I'm sure she could slap together an adapter of some sort.

Oh I'm sure she would. And she would then terrorize everyone until she figured out exactly how it all worked. Osanna paused. Of course, then she might still terrorize them.

She would be drunk with power if she got her hands on a power drill, Naomi said. She snickered. And she would be a god amongst mechanics.

Yes. Yes she would. That would almost be scary, actually. Osanna grinned briefly. Think we should?

Yes, Naomi replied, grinning as well. Get her one of those all-in-one tools with every drill bit and screwdriver attachment known to man.

Oh gods yes. Osanna grinned hugely. That would be perfect for her, really.

Naomi just snickered and nodded as they got onto the train and settled in for the ride.

The train ride wasn't bad, and Ed herded them off again at Central station.

"Do you two want to come in with me?" He looked at the girls. He wasn't sure if he could trust them alone, but if they didn't want to go with he could have Al keep track of them.

Naomi glanced at Osanna. It had kind of turned into Osa's trip, rather than hers, so she would follow her friend's lead. She didn't mind tagging along.

Osanna shrugged. We can, sure, she wrote, passing it over to Ed.

Ed nodded. "Alright. Come on. Let's see how quickly Mustang figures out I'm back again..."

Naomi and Al both tagged along, Naomi moreso than Al. Al belonged there, after all, and walked next to his brother like usual.

Ed managed to get to their things and pulled out the books, handing them off to Al. And then he made a face when he saw Mustang.

"Oh, great. I'll go deal with him."

Al almost offered to go with him, and then just gave up and followed. He would have, anyways, so offering was pointless.

"Hello, Colonel," he greeted politely once they were in earshot of Mustang.

Naomi couldn't help but snicker when she saw him.

"Isn't he the guy you tripped?" she whispered to Osanna.

Osanna smirked and nodded. Yup, that was the guy. Too bad there wasn't another plant around.

"Fullmetal," Mustang greeted, looking down at them. "Alphonse." He blinked when he noticed the girls. "Bringing in friends again? I wasn't aware you had any."

"They're just visiting," Ed ground out. "We just needed to pick up a few things."

"We've met," Naomi replied, grinning just shy of a full-blown smirk. "Once. I still don't get where you come off being so goddamn condescending, but I gather that must be your natural state." She remembered the last time they came across him, and she'd said almost the exact same thing then.

Mustang quirked an eyebrow at her. "Ah, yes. I remember you two." He continued looking down at them for a few moments. "Although I fail to understand why you felt it necessary to bring them here, Fullmetal."

"Like I said, we were just picking up some things," Ed said defensively. "And we were just on our way out."

"We dropped in on our own this time," Naomi added. "It's not Ed's fault. He just tripped over us."

Mustang nodded after a moment. "Report back when they've left," Mustang ordered him. And then he moved out of the way.

Ed nodded and moved past him to leas the girls outside again.

"God he's so condescending," Naomi griped as Mustang walked away again. "He needs to be punched in the face a few times."

Ed shrugged. "That's just how he is," he said. "You get used to him. Eventually." Mostly. Although he had his moments when he wanted to punch Mustang in the face too.

"I suddenly understand why you hate dealing with him," Naomi said. "I am so sorry."
