Bucket: Oh, it was a BLAST! Despite the fact that I was kinda exhausted as I was working on 5 hours of sleep and had been on my feet for most most the day... well, up and working on stuff - helping set up for the dance... etc. :)

My ex-fiancee and I were in a long distance relationship for awhile before things kinda fell apart on us.

It is hard, but we are determined to make it work and so far we've done a good job at that.
I'm the first to say and admit that long distance is not for everyone.

Roza: Oh, I agree with you that it's not for everyone - and the fact that he ended up having to move cross country because of what he does didn't help.
We drifted apart - and the fact that I found out something recently (at the beginning of this year) that changes everything and actually explains why he kept on finding ways to put off the wedding.

Anyways, I do wish the both of you the best of luck. <3

What was it that made him keep putting the wedding off, if I may ask.

I'm hoping that once I get back into school, get started in my career and get my own place, that he will be able to visit more often and possible move in if possible. Right now I'm living with my parents and they don't really like him staying over night. They don't mind him coming over just not over night. xD

Oh I see. Well it's good that he came out with it and I hope you two can be friends again.
I don't think something like that should ruin a friendship, might take some time, but I think it should work out. ^^

Well he lives in Ohio and I'm in Texas. >.<
So he's quite far away and makes visiting difficult.. well costly.
In the end he wants to move somewhere in the middle that way we're both close to our families to make it fair for the both of us.

@Nemo: I'm not really the same size as any of my friends, they're either bigger or smaller than me. Not to mention we don't have the same style at all haha. I usually wear heels with dresses, I got a lovely pair of black and red ones last week. I'm next going out for my friend's birthday on the eleventh, and then me and another lassie are going out after. :yes:

Roza: Oh, I'm very proud of him for coming out. :heart: He does seem much happier, and it makes me feel better that it wasn't me, but him. I just wish that he could have told me. Instead of me feeling like it was something that I did wrong. We're working on it. I have a feeling that we can work through this. :) I know we can.

Bucket: Oh, she found it for me at a garage sale. ^_^ But my sis and I are around the same size anyways. :) I was going to wear heals, but I've got weak ankles and I'd have probable managed to sprain or break an ankle walking from my doors to the cafeteria, where the dance was being held. I knew I'd be on my feet a lot and went the safe route with the flats. :P

@Nemo: For my friend's staff night out just before Christmas, I fell after one too many drinks and I sprained my foot. I continued dancing on it all night too. Oh my god, O regretted that the next day. :lol:

Oh, ouch!! I've had quite a few sprains and whatnot... I remember one time I totally managed to bruise my right hip up - falling out of the saddle horse back ridding. And I had to walk my horse out and sadly, the less painful way to do that was to get back up in the saddle... Ugh... still painful though! Getting back up in the saddle - I ended up having to use the mounting block to get up... I usually don't need to use a mounting block to get up. >.<

And I've gone riding on a sprained ankle more times than I can count - as soon as the swelling would go down enough to fit in my ridding boot I was back up in the saddle. :)

Horses terrify me. I was chased by a pack of ponies when I was ten, so I've hated them ever since them. :gonk:

I've not really been injured too much. That was my first sprained foot. I did tear two ligaments in my left hand playing football. My pinkie still isn't aligned properly like my other one.

Awe! That's a real shame! Horses can sense fear, so if you're scared of them, they'll actually act out more. That's when people say that they're trying to scare them, but in fact the horses are just feeding off your fear and stress.
I've been riding since I was 11 and I'm in love. Sadly, I've not been riding in awhile. I miss it! :(

I've sprained my right ankle 3 times, and my left one 1 time (but that time was worse than the 3 times on my right ankle combined). And then my bruised hip, and more bumps and scrapes than I can count. Lol. But I've learned how to deal with bruised feet (from being stepped on by horses... I just get them back. :P One gets used to bumps and bruises when working with horses (not what I do anymore - as I'm not around them that much anymore, but because of how many years I used to work with them -- I'm totally used to it.)
