oh my... rocky is like that too. i think they drag their butts on the bottom because they have a scent gland back there and they are marking their territory.. :lol:

Oh...I didn't know that. o __o Personally I just think they're stupid. XD Nibbler can't even find its own food if the pellet or piece of grass or vegetable gets underneath it. It'd go squeaking and stare at me as though it's my fault that its food had somehow magically disappeared, not realizing that its actually sitting on top of it with its butt. *shakes head*

haha mine can be pretty dumb too. i don't like how messy they can be. mine drag their hay all over the cage. :P or only eat like half of it and pee on the rest.

Yeah. :gonk: I wish they'd stop doing that, it's no wonder they aren't found in the wild but artificially bred-made! They'd never be able to survive the wilderness. :(

*nods* I know. I worked with labrats once. My rat liked to attack me finger until I figured out what he objected to. After that, I had no problems handling him without gloves.

That sounds neat. What did you do that you were working with them? :O

I took a class on the Psychology of Learning. We were running experiments with the rats in Skinner boxes. Each of us had a rat of our own.

It was an awesome class. I loved the professor, and I had a great time working with the rats and my classmates.

Yeah, that sounds like the makings of an awesome class! ;D The only class I've taken that involved animals was back in high school and all we did was dissect them. XDDD

Wow, that sounds awesome. :O I didn't really train mine. He would bite me at first, but after I swung him around for a bit and slapped him for biting me, I could stuff my finger into his mouth and he wouldn't bite. :)
