I have to contact the people in Beijing to set things up for us (it's weird since we're supposed to be the hosting party, yet the conference will take place in China, so we have to ask other people to set things up for us, which makes it difficult because if they mess things up we'd have no way of telling until it's too late >__>), and the things are just so tedious to do it makes me want to smash my face repeatedly into my desk. *sigh*

Yeah, but I don't think I'll be doing much sight seeing. I'd probably just see the inside of a conference room and a hotel a lot.

lol! I don't really care as long as I can have a room to myself, as unlikely as that would be.

Usually, yes. It's around two to four people a room, unless you are one of the teachers/guests. Actually, I'm not sure if the guests get one room a person...just thinking about the expenses is making my head ache.

Afternoon gais~ :o
The last time I stayed at a hotel it ended up being 400 dollars for two nights! And everything was broken.
It sucked, I went to an ice machine that had a sign "broken go to 2nd floor" went there another one that said go to the third, and then the third said go to kitchen. -__- The kitchen was closed. Their 5 star breakfast was coffee and stale bread. xD

Hey! :)
The room I stayed in I was sharing with my two friends and it was £35 for the night, which wasn't bad at all. It was pretty nice too, the only things that were broken or missing were the things we broke or took. *terrible guests*

 Bad Cass!
There was a swimming pool in the hotel that I actually got into but my dad didn't let me go into the 5ft part of it.
T ~ T He promised me we would go to the beach. "The swimming pool is the same thing!"

@Cass: Ooh, sounds like a nice place. 8D
@Nim-san: Ahh. Yeah that is funky. Hopefully it's not too bad though. c:
@Ell: Omg, expensive!
And sounds crappy. When we went to Disney, the hotel there didn't have free internet. = 3= Then when we went to another one, a cheaper one, they did. Booo!

@ Iku - It was! Everything was so expensive. That city was really nice though but people would drive like maniacs.
Lol! That's how they lure people in, free internet.
o A o! Wrenji style, how does that go?

400 dollars for two nights?! And with such crappy accommodations? Good grief!
Yeah, I don't like sleeping with other people either (haha that just sounds so wrong), I have a hard time falling asleep when there's someone else in the room with me! Usually when bunking with someone else while at a hotel, we end up sharing a bed too. Every time they shift in the bed I end up being yanked back into the world of the living, so I always sleep badly.

Once I fall asleep fully, I'm a pretty deep sleeper (see my incident back in college where my alarm clock went off in the middle of the night and woke up the entire room except me ), but before I manage to fall asleep completely, I get jolted awake extremely easily.

I'm a both a deep and a light sleeper. When I'm asleep, I am properly asleep but sounds like my alarm or a knock at the door will wake me were as other people's alarms or the shower or something won't :)

Ohh, yeah...I get jolted awake pretty easily by the sound of my door opening.
I'm not sure about alarm clocks since I've always put them right next to my head ever since the college incident, so I don't know if my brain's tuned in to wake at the sound of them or because the ringing/music blasts right into my ear every morning.

Oh the sound of my door opening doesn't wake me, just knocking. It's usually not on my bedroom door either, just the front door haha

I don't react at the sound of my parents' room door opening (though then again maybe I just don't hear it since I always sleep with my room door closed...), and I'm not sure about knocking since no one ever knocks on my room door when I'm sleeping. But having been roused from my sleep for so many years via the door opening, my brain's definitely been tuned in to waking at that, even if my parents hadn't intended on waking me when opening the door.
