drafted?

Yeah. When you get called to join the military practically against your will. I think they did it for the Vietnam war... I'm not entirely sure though; so don't hold me to that. :XD

Men are still signed up for it in case we ever do need to draft people. It's called the Selective Service.

I'm okay at most of the subjects..

they shouldn't do that...not everyone can fight well plus you should have a choice to go to war.

1. It's not a choice as far as I know. If you get drafted, you get drafted.
2. Women don't get drafted.

-shrug- Beats me. It's probably just an old thing that hasn't been "updated" and women aren't traditionally the ones thought of for fighting wars.

That aside, women may not get drafted, but they can probably still enlist during that time.

Meh, it seems weird though....I mean, they should be able to get drafted...even if it isn't fair. xD its not fair to me anyway....

Well it wouldn't make sense if we drug all the most able people out to war... leaving the country with way young and old. :XD
Plus, mass mixing those two sexes in that stressed time might not be a good idea. Women have periods. Women can get pregnant.
Maybe they just want to try and keep that out of the picture.
I really don't know. I'm only speculating.

But like I said, women can probably go enlist if they want to.
