I'll be putting my character's profile down here, but I think that it might be good if I put the plot first.
"A Centaur and a Naga are sent from their villages to be detectives of sorts. They need to figure out why people have been disappearing, then they must inform their village leaders of their discoveries. "
Profile -
Name: Amal
Gender: Male
Race: Naga
Age: 126
Personnality: Amal is quite a shy male, that does things he'd best not do, such as activating his village's traps when out in the woods. Besides being a not-so-social creature, he tries his best to be as politely as he is able. Doesn't like his body color, for it ruins any type of camouflage he needs to have on huntings.
Appearance: A pale, white skin covers his flesh, along with opaque, white scales. A long, white hair that reaches his waist comes out of his head, with no bangs, and his eyes are of a light hazel. Resuming, an albino Naga. Wears a belt carrying his dagger.

Profile-
Name: Bree
Age: 100
Race: Centaur
Personality: Bright, boisterous and adventurous she is always sticking her nose into things she shouldn't and getting into trouble as a result.
Appearance: She has tanned skin, blond hair and brown eyes. She wears a green tunic with a bow and a quiver of arrows upon her human back. Her equine portion black, with two white socks upon her back legs.
----------------------------
Bree smiled as she raced onto the fields that were used as a meeting place between the naga and centaurs of the two villages. She let out a yell of joy as she galloped at the fact that she finally had an excuse to do what she did best, meddling. The centaur slowed down and came to a halt as she reached the stones placed at the center of the fields. These were the stones that marked the mid way spot between the territories, and a place of peace. Impatiently she looked around, searching for her naga partner in ... Not crime, but meddling she supposed.
They were to figure out why the people from their villages were disappearing. It had been determined already that of everyone, the two involved couldn't possibly have anythign to do with the disappearances. So they had been assigned to prove someone else's guilt. If only it were easy to do such a thing! A well, the challenge excited Bree so much she began running around the stones, and sometimes leaped over them.

It had been quite some time since Amal left the village, so he could already see the territory markers, and also the one who would be his partner. And, as he saw her hapilly running around the stones, it gave him quite a very refreshing feeling. But he knew he wasn't there to enjoy the day, even if thinking about it tempted him so much.
After what seemed to be a single minute, Amal was close enough to properly greet the Centaur. "Greetings. My name's Amal, and... "he briefly paused" I'm going to be your partner on discovering who's the one making people from our villages disapear." - He said, in a low voice, looking around and down.

Bree stopped her gallivanting and bowed, torso bent and forelegs extended before her. Standing once more she grinned at her partner. "A pleasure to meet you. I'm Bree." she paused a second to regard the white naga, then shrugged before going on. "Have you any ideas so far? Because I certainly don't!" The centaur thought he certainly seemed like a shy one, this Amal. He wouldn't look directly at her for some reason. It made the centaur woman twist around to see if there might be dirt on her black coat, even if it rarely ever showed.

"Not really... Only the obvious thoughts anyone would have." - Amal answered the Centaur's question, surprised by the woman's bowing act, fact that made him a bit nervous. Amal, quickly moving his fingers, briefly looked at the Centaur's socks, before saying - " Um... May I ask you, Bree, where should we start looking for hints?"

The woman frowned a moment, her blond hair swaying in the breeze as she considered his question. "We could probably start by asking the people most affected by this about what happened to their friends. Maybe they were acting strangely, because there has to be a link to all this you know? Unless humans kidnapped them all... Except that's already been ruled out." She tapped her chin as she frowned. Bree's brown eyes looked to the naga village, or at least in it's direction.
She'd never been there. Her eyes would be fresh, just as his would be in her home. "You should ask the centaurs the questions and I should ask the nagas. Fresh eyes you know!" She smiled at the little saying. Seemed like she would be the happy one of the group, since Amal seemed to very serious.

"Well then, I shall be heading there, if there is nothing else to be said..." - Amal pronounced, before, along with a small smile, nodding downwards to the woman and turning to her village's direction. As he began heading there, wonderful thoughts started filling his mind - ' Will a Centaur village be alike mine? ' - he wondered - ' How are their houses? What are they made of? ' - those thoughts were giving him a very deep excitement, wich made him quite glad to actually come to the that place in this day.

A neighing laughter erupted form Bree. She began trotting after the naga with a smile on her face. "Amal, I think it's best if we accompanied each other to the villages. That way they'll actually believe we are who we say we are." Cenaurs were mostly suspicious of the naga, and the mare was sure that was the case in the naga village also. Going into either place without a guide might prove disastrous. She rather thought he would be surprised that her people slept out in the open, or in tents when it rained. They loved the outdoors too much to confine themselves.

Bree's sudden laughter startled Amal, making the Naga turn and hear what she had to say with widened eyes, that where calmiong down along the last phrase pronounced. Recomposing himself, Amal answered nervously - "I guess you're right... Tough it will make our task longer..." -, looking down.

He was really a nervous one, mused Bree silently as she kept walking beside the naga. "Longer maybe, but two heads are better then one. Except if the two heads argue..." She smiled as she trailed off to think of the consequences.
Meanwhile they approached the border of the plains, with high grasses and sweet things to eat, that was the centaur home. There was so much free space to run. It made Bree want to start galloping, but she couldn't for fear of losing Amal. Thinking of the naga brought the mind that he might be fun to tease. Still they needed to work together, so the centaur desisted for the moment.

What that Centaur, Bree, said made Amal stop and think about it. Yes, it was true. Two living beings woudn't and couldn't work together if discording ideas were put together.
But all of those thoughts vanished when they reached the Centaur village. He expected it to be a lot different, yet he was really curious about everything in there, as for example why would they prefer eating plants instead of meat, or why wouldn't they enjoy curling up in tree branches, or anything alike, that Nagas would love doing but Centaur not. Thinking about it made him realize how different both races were.
After a brief reflexive moment, Amal returned to his primal goal, and asked, looking to a near bush - "Who will we firstly ask about the disapearances?"

Looking at her home made Bree prance a little, she couldn't wait to show Amal everything. There weren't any houses as such. Simply tents put up just in case it rained, or a very large tent made of cloth for the centaur elders. They were a peaceful people, unless angered and so had no fear when they lived in their area.
Considering the naga's question, Bree nodded to herself quietly. "The elders. They know everything that goes on in the village, one way or another. They're in that big middle tent. " She pointed to the tent made of red cloth, towering high above the rest. Impatiently she ran forward a bit and returned to him. He was so terribly boring, it didn't seem like he laughed or knew how to have fun.

After the Centaur's response to his question, Amal started heading there. He thought that after some time he'd get to see any kind of house or anything alike, but the only thing he kept seeing were tents. Curious, he asked the Centaur - "Bree, I was wondering... Could you, after we question the Elders, show me your village?" -, tough it took some time to him to complete his question.
It was a very open place. Very good to run around, for those who had legs. But it seemed, to Amal, that he couldn't feel much safe in there Something was missing, and it seemed to be trees. They gave him a sensation of safety, knowing that they'd always surround and "shield" him. But he wasn't in his village, and he needed to accept that.

Bree nodded vehemently with a smile. "Of course! It would be my pleasure to show you around." She was finally home with it's wide open spaces and she loved it. Sometimes she would stop to say hello to people, who stared at her companion. Every time they did so, Bree found herself blocking Amal from sight. She didn't think he would like being stared at.
(That's fine, take your time. Now I know, so it won't be a surprise if you don't answer right away.)

((:ugh: writter's block... :headdesk: what can I write?
and also, what will the elders say?))
----------
Amal saw, while his Centaur partner made her brief stop for a hello, that the people in there were indeed very peacefull with each other. You wouldn't hear the constant noise of two young villagers dueling each other, as it was very common to see in his home.
But even if the Centaurs were so peaceful, it seemed that this behaviour would change, as if a tension were present.
That happened when Amal could be sighted by a Centaur, as he furtherly realized. They'd stare at him whenever he passed by, fact that made him very unconfortable, and sometimes it was possible to see a deep sigh coming out of him.
Thankfully, the only exception was Bree. And perhaps this one exception that made Amal think twice, for before he was almost turning away and heading back to his village. He was extremelly glad that his partner came along, otherwise troubles would certainly come to him.

Bree led him to the large tent where the elders resided, and quickly moved inside. They were all laying about, talking and joking around. They were a big family, and the moment they saw Bree the teasing started. "When are you going to find yourself a nice young stallion!" Cried the elders, or many variations of it. She coughed, and stamped her hooves as she moved to the center of the tent. "Amal and I are on official business, come to question you about the disappearances." The elders like rhymes, it made them think the youngsters appreciated the art of language.

Coming from her behind with a shy expression, Amal deeply breathed, and decided that it was his turn on pronouncing himself to the elders. "Indeed, my partner is saying the truth."- he said - "Many villagers are disapearing, as all of us know, and to both races this fact is causing a great problem." - he stoped for a moment, so that the word he said had a deeper impact on those hearing, and continued - "And so, a representant of each village was sent, in this case, me and my partner, Bree, so that we could find clues and find out who this impetuous, cruel and... " - one more brief pause - "ravishing criminal is, and to stop him.
But... we possess no clues.
That is why we came here. We're wondering if you could help us, telling us anything that you believe that might help."
Nodding to the Elders, who until then remained silent, Amal turned his body to Bree, with a quite a troubled and tense expression running his face, as if asking her if his "speech" was good enough.
