((I was thinking he broke her heart without realizing it, and yeah that sounds good. ))

After smiling at his comment, a perplexed frown crossed Loren's face. Angels weren't supposed to get sick, not as far as she knew. The young woman wondered how it could have happened, and how to heal him. Biting her lip, Loren regarded Marcus with a sigh. "Enough with the cryptic comments," Loren stated firmly as she bent down to aid him. Marcus's sudden bout of sickness worried her just as much as Ace had earlier. Though of course, in her heart she knew it worried her more. There was a nagging feeling again, pushing Loren to regard the angel with a speculative eye.

"Dustin won't do a thing, and are you well enough to hide your wings again?" Loren's mind was quickly jumping into it's most imaginative mode. Creating stories came quickly to her, but telling lies was another story. This instance was an exception of course. It would be easy to tell people Marcus was cosplaying or something of the sort. There were so many animes out there that it was quite possible he looked like one of the characters.

A loud laugh escaped Loren at his next sentence while she tried to help the angel up without seeming to. "It would be kind of nice, don't you think? Ace needs someone like him." A steadying influence would do wonders for the young woman. The thought of the two of them together brought a brilliant expression to her face. Loren thought it was a rather good idea, and would have tried her hand at matchmaking if she didn't know she was horrible at it already.

The blond man stared at her retreating back, mouth opening and closing like a fish. Firmly shaking his head, Dustin moved forward to keep pace with her. Ace always overreacted, she was known for it. This time though, many things she had said were founded in reality. Sadness filled the angel, who knew it was best that the girl was angry with him. Yet he couldn't bear it! Dustin wrestled with himself, wondering if he should tell her that he was staying to protect her also.

The chances of Ace believing him were low, but he would take them anyway. Licking his lips, Dustin's grey eyes turned to the dark haired one beside him. "Ace, I'm staying to protect you too. Believe or not as you will, all I ask is that you consider the fact that I can keep an eye on Loren when she is not here... But I cannot do so with you." Not unless they became much more then they were, and that would never happen. The angel liked his immortality and never imagined he would give it up for anyone, though sometimes loneliness tugged at his heart. Funnily enough, he'd forgotten about it while with Ace.

[[I see, I'll get to that part somehow... ?~(・・")]]

Ace glanced at the man, before looking straight again. He looked desperate, fighting himself just to tell her something. Unwanted pity filled her, maybe she was a bit to harsh. But after his cutoff earlier, Ace wasn't sure she could trust the grey eyed angel again. She sighed,"I understand, but the trust between us is gone for now, unless your willing enough to regrow it again? I've been left by so many guy "friends" because of some personal thing, always cutting me off. I hate not knowing what's going on, makes me sick." She spat, and continued,"And you make it so obvious Dustin,"

She was back to formal first name basis. Usually Ace would never do that, even though she was mad, but her trust in Duston was gone completely. The difference? It involved her best friend and that fallen. "Your eyes seem to give it away, and that expression makes it twice as obvious."

She got to the apartment. Looking up, she walked into the building, walking through the halls until her and Loren's room was seen. Taking get keys out of her bag, she opened the door. The soup's aroma was still in the room. If she had timed it right, the soup would be at a perfect temperature, not cold, but not exactly steaming either. She put the bags on the bed, pulling out her cow pillow. Hugging it close, she sat on the bed, hiding her face. She was expecting Dustin to go off looking for Loren and Marcus. Water filled her blue eyes, her day was turning out for the worse. If guardian angels were real, then where was hers!?

Marcus's face was a bit flushed,"It was painful taking them out, but I think I can manage putting them back in for a while, it's much more bearable that way." Slightly bloodied wings folded themselves into Marcus's back. He groaned at the cracking and the pain that flared up on his back. Slowly, but surely, he staggered to his feet, using the walls as support. "I'm okay, just need a bit of support, everythings spinning quite a bit. As if to prove a point, he clutched his head, trying to focus his ever fading vision on the brunette he was currently speaking with. His thoughts them wandered off,"Hey, why not match up the two? Ace and Dustin, I mean, it could be a kind of payback to Ace~" Even sick, his mind could still think up some nasty tricks.

As his vision cleared a bit, he checked his surroundings, making sure he knew where he was at the moment. Once he got that, he looked at Loren, he looked a bit lifeless. "Loren, I'm hungry," He stated. Marcus was too sick for riddles, and though he wad technically still immortal, his human qualities would shine though since he was a fallen. So, even though he won't die from it, he would still be in pain. Quite the lose-lose situation for the poor white haired man. Not that he really minded, of course.

Going on his hands and feet, he looked for the exit. Finding none, he looked up at te brunette,"How do we leave?" The poor sick man was clueless. He really hasn't been sick for a long time, so the small fever had an impact on the fallen.

She winced in sympathy. Loren couldn't watch the spectacle of the angel hiding his wings. It hurt her to see him hurting, and she wasn't sure why. "Yes let's match them up..." Moving forward Loren wasn't sure if he would accept her support. The young woman regarded the ground, and the tree he leaned on. This wasn't good at all, but luckily the apartment wasn't far.

Loren't heart went out to him. "I'll get you back to the apartment, and I'll find you some food too. Just let me help you get there." There was a tenderness in her eyes as she regarded him. Reaching out gently, Loren managed to get one of Marcus's arms around her shoulders. She supported him as they walked out of the ticket. The young woman walked out first, and made sure that not even a twig touched the angel. The park grounds went by slowly and made way to the city streets.

Soon the two were standing in front of the apartment, though it had taken a half hour rather then the usual ten minutes. Loren didn't dare fumble for her key, and knocked instead. Worriedly, the young woman turned to look at the white haired angel. He would sleep in her bed that night, and she would watch over him. No one else would. "So, what do you say about sleeping in my bed tonight?" If Marcus didn't tease her, Loren would know how bad this cold truly was.

Dustin watched her walk away. Turning his head, the angel was torn. Loren was upset yes, but he knew she was safe. Ace was upset, and it was because of him. It was a dilemma that he knew should have been clear cut and easily decided. That wasn't the case. For so long, Dustin had watched two girls grow into women, and the had both grown on him. Loren would always be like a precious little sister, but Ace...

Moving forward, the angel became invisible and his wings burst forth. Flying with powerful wings beats, Dustin made his way to the window of Ace's room. All of his thoughts had slowed him down. She was sitting there, her face buried in the pillow she'd just gotten. The sight was breaking the angel's heart. Phasing trough the window, Dustin went to sit on the bed and made himself visible and solid again. "Ace I'm sorry... Truly I am." Usually composed, his voice hitched with the emotions he was battling with. "Marcus tried to kill Loren once, he's a half demon. He was your guardian, but something snapped... Loren well, somehow she saw him, met him, and she fell in love with him. Marcus never knew, but I certainly did. What that... That monster did broke her. His attack didn't killer, but the fact that he would do so broke her spirit. Somehow, I managed to convince my superiors to take away her memories. They made him fall and took his too, what a mess!" Clasping his hands together, Dustin closed his eyes and groaned. Leaning forward, the angel didn't dare look at Ace. For all he knew, he would fall too now!

(( I just put the basics down, mostly stuff we've already talked about and agreed on))

[[Ah! I see now! Should we have Marcus try again while Loren is asleep? Maybe the demon part has a mind of it's ow ~]]

Marcus took the womans support with no protest. He was far to tired and somehow worn out from what happened. He had a strange feeling that something had happened to Ace, but he kept his mouth shut, wantin to save her from more worry and his energy for later. He quietly thanked her for her neverening kindness towards him. It made him feel warm, seeing someone finally warm up to him, he couldn't remember the last time someone had done that, if at all. But his mind kept nagging, and it was getting annoying since he wasn't well. He kept thinking about it though, but he was also thinking of ways to get the two together. Then, maybe he and Loren could work on themselves. The though of a couple made Marcus smile. But he kept silent until they got to the apartment. He took a deep breath,"Loren, I think Ace maybe having a moment.." He stopped, and waved his hand dismissively,"On your bed? That's fine, it's really soft on there anyway...." He gave her a smile so angelic, it was hard to believe he was a fallen.

At his sudden outburst, she almost jumped, but kept her composure as the blond angel dribbled about what had happened between Loren and Marcus before. Putting up one finger, she took a minute to regain what was left of her sanity. When she finally looked up he face Dustin, her eyes were tearing up, and she was smiling at him. the truth was triggering to her to be honest. A half demon for a guardian, she was sure special. Repeating what the angel had just said in her mind, she nodded ever so slowly, letting the idea sink in. Wiping the tears from her eyes, she faced the grey eyed man. She laid down on the man's lap, the cow pillow still in her arms. He told her what was happening, even though it was far fetched, his voice and his pleading face told her that he wasn't lying to her. She reached over to the shopping bags, taking out Dustin's pillow, a sheep shaped pillow. Still on his lap, she held it up to him,"Thanks Dusty..." She said quietly, giving him a small smile. Her trust wasn't completely back, but she knew he was willing to keep their friendship alive.

She knew it was bad when he didn't tease her. The young woman fumbled with her key, and pushed the door open with her foot. Closing it in the same way, Loren carefully helped Marcus into the apartment. Ace's door was closed, that rarely happened. Usually she would have gone to check, but Marcus was in such a bad state! Navigating the dining room, Loren managed to get the angel into her room without too much trouble.

Grunting a little with the effort, she placed Marcus carefully on her bed under the covers. "Stay here, I'm going to get you some soup." Before leaving, Loren brushed some of his hair from his face with a tender expression. The soup did smell delicious... Taking two bowls, the young woman returned to Marcus's side and placed the soup on a bedside table. Beginning on her own, Loren watched to see how Marcus would fare.

At first, Dustin was confused by the tears in her eyes. This was the strangest situation of all! Seeing her smile reassured him though, and he gave her a shaky one in return. The young woman's antics were certainly melodramatic. It was an easy trait to like though, as she lay down on the angel's lap. Smiling fully now, the angel ran a hand trough her hair in a soothing way. Loren was two years older then Ace, and would have been the first one to say the younger was the most experienced, and that was the truth. Dustin bent down to kiss her forehead and accepted the pillow with a smile. "You've forgiven me partially at least? The thought gladdens my heart!" Dustin couldn't hide a thing from her now, as he placed his pillow behind his back after folding his wings.

Blue eyes widened, being kissed on the forehead wasn't something she was expecting. Her pale cheeks went a but pink from embarrassment. Thankfully she hid her face behind the pillow again. Sitting up quickly, she looked at Dustin, it seemed that his wings disappeared. "So... Do you mind sleeping with me tonight, unless you want to keep lookout on Loren, but that's fine!" Her eyes flickered around frantically, and they rested in the sheep pillow behind the man. She had taken it out on impulse, not looking at it. Pointing to it, she asked,"Why a sheep?" Blinking, she held her cow pillow close, still slightly embarrassed. She heard the door open,"Eh, than must be Loren..." Her embarrassed state dissolved into a more depressed one.

Standing, she said,"I'll get some soup!~" Opening the door to her bedroom, she ran off to the kitchen. She only saw that there was one bowl left, considering the broke a lot of them when she was attempting to bake. There were glass bowls, but they were highly breakable and were high in the cabinet. Ace didn't need to have Dustin worry about her when Loren was his charge. She sighed in defeat, she realized what she was forgetting to buy earlier. Some new bowls. Pouting to herself, she poured a bowl for them and returned back to her room, closing the door again,"Sorry Dusty! There was only this bowl or trying to reach the top shelf for those expensive glass ones. So say ah!~" She took the spoon and dipped it. Holding it up to Dustin's mouth, she grinned,"And be honest about my cooking Dusty, no need to lie to me." Ace, although she didn't trust the man fully, still wanted him to smile at her cooking, or just react in some way. Also, she was hoping to distract him from her seemingly depressed state moments ago.

Although Marcus was strong enough to feed himself, he couldn't help himself,"Feed me." He stated, smirking to Loren teasingly. Sprawled on the bed, it took a lot from him just to sit up, but eating? He wasn't even sure if he could hold the bowl correctly. As he waited for Loren, he looked around her room more closely, he didn't notice much before, but he needed to remember every detail. He chuckled, being a fallen didn't seem so bad now, since he had Loren, it has been the time of his life. Yet he could help but feel the need to see some blood. Shaking those thoughts from his head, he looked up at Loren with pleading eyes,"It's not just because I'm teasing, I don't want to spill soup on the bed, it's a waste of a perfectly good bed." He attempted to take a spoonful, and almost dropped it, but he got it in his mouth. Eyes widening, he looked at Loren, surprised,"This is good Loren! Who made this?"

He watched her run off into the kitchen, and tried to suppress his smile at her surprise. Ace as a wonderfully sweet person, and Dustin felt horrible for having put her trough any kind of pain. The angel thought over her innocent demand, and nodded to himself. It would be an easy thing to do...

The blond man found himself looking forward to it. Once Ace returned, he leaned forward to sample the soup and smiled contentedly. "It's delicious. As for what you asked earlier... Of course, if there's enough room!" Laughingly, Dustin patted the bed beside him. The emotions Ace had displayed were ignored easily enough.

At first, Loren wasn't sure how to react. Then she laughed and went to sot as close to Marcus as possible. Wordlessly, the young woman grabbed the second bowl of soup and placed it near her. After that she went about to fix up her position so that Marcus's head was upon her shoulder. It was an easy matter to give him some soup. "REally, I wouldn't have thought you ever needed any kind of help."

[Late reply: Sorry! I kindof went camping and stuff and didn't have time to reply before, sortof late but oh well!]

Marcus glared at the teasing woman angrily,"Well that's no fun is it? It's better to let the host feed the guest, especially when the guest has gotten sick, am I correct?" He stuck her tongue at her. His reddish pink eyes widened a bit when said person seemed to get as close to him as possible,"Eh, you shouldn't be so close Loren, you'll catch the cold." He made feeble attempts to nudge the girl off. Fortunately, he succeeded in putting of a bit of distance between the two. Something was wrong, and something was telling him inside that he should be careful with his feelings. But a more darker side tempted him to get closer, and maybe even play around with Loren. Shaking his head, Marcus closed his eyes in pain,"My head hurts..." He grunted, wincing at the never-ending pounding of his head due to the separate sides fighting in his mind. He felt sick, and he hadn't felt sick in such a long time that this was incredibly painful for him. He leaned back onto Loren's shoulder, weak and defeated, for the battle in his subconscious was killing him physically as well.

Ace set the soup down on the nightstand. Plopping back down next to the angel she looked at the man thoroughly. She never really got a good chance to look at the man, due to the fact that when she first saw him, she pointed a bat and threatened to give him a concussion. Giggling at the thought, she suddenly remembered that said man was still there, and blushed deeply,"I'm sorry! I just remembered what I did when I first saw you, I feel stupid to do that to you..." Scratching the back of her head, she laughed nervously. She looked at his wings curiously,"Well, do you sleep with those? Wings I mean." She smiled,"Probably painful huh? Ah well..." She leaned on his shoulder, tired from the horribly eventful day. "How rude of me, falling asleep before you..." Her body went limp on his shoulder her breathing becoming deep and even. She mumbled something about "trust" and "Dustin" came out of her mouth as well, sometime being followed by "you dumbass."

Loren bit her lower lip after hearing all his teasing. "It doesn't matter." The young woman was worried about him, and tried to get some of the soup into the dark winged angel. The moment Marcus said his head hurt, Loren began running a gentle hand trough his hair in a soothing way. "Is there anything I can do to help?" Loren asked in a soft voice. The worry she felt imbued her words, and her whole body was tense from the sentiment. Tangled sheets were half off the bed, but Loren didn't care. Some photographs lay on the ground, and she didn't even notice her precious art in the way of danger.

Half closing his eyes, Dustin tried to hide the softening of his features. "It doesn't matter, that's done and over with." To answer the young woman's questions about his wings, the angel made them disappear with ease. He leaned back slightly against a wall in order to support both her weight and his with ease and comfort. As Ace fell asleep, Dustin wrapped his arms around her tenderly and smiled. Just this once, he decided to allow himself to feel what he had been trying to push down fully. A swamp of tender, loving, feelings converged within the angel as Ace slept. Leaning down he placed a gentle kiss upon her cheek, and proceeded to lay his head upon hers. The comfort and tenderness he felt luled Dustin to sleep, and soon his breathing echoed Ace's.

[sorry, been really busy with my family]

Marcus looked at Loren, his head was pounding in an annoying way, so much that he though he could feel his brain shaking. "I need some water please?" He kept his voice as even as possible. He didn't want to worry Loren anymore than she is. Not just for her sake, but for that angel of hers. If he didn't behave, that blonde would be on his ass. He had a bitter expression on his face just thinking about what the angel would do. Sighing, he rested his head on a pillow, his head seemed to be a bit clear due to the fluffy softness of the pillow. "Damn, this has never happened before, why now?" He muttered in disgust. Out of all the times in the world, this is the time his body chooses to get sick. Well awesome, just kill me now! He thought bitterly, seems that most of the world was against him at the moment.

Nodding, Loren placed the angel gently upon the bed. Standing slowly so as not to disturb him the brunette slipped into the kitchen. Her blue eyes traveled to the open door of Ace's bedroom. What she saw caused her to smile, though worry still weighed heavily upon her heart. Catching up a glass into her hand Loren filled it with cold water. Returning after Marcus's moment of self disgust, she sat down beside him and steadied his head to help him drink the asked for water. Tilting her head to the side and biting her lower lip, Loren tried to resist an urge which had been nagging her since she'd first seen Marcus. It wouldn't be right, he was so helpless... At the same time she might never get the chance again. The last thought was more pressing and urgent then it had a right to be, making Loren lean in slowly to place a soft kiss on Marcus's lips without fully thinking it trough.

Marcus's redish pink eyes went wide. Surprised was an understatement to what he was feeling. Where did all this confidence come from? Was his first thought. His mind and heart were at war. Part of him liked it, and wanted to kiss back. But the other part insisted on pushing away, and that what they were doing wasn't right. So he followed his gut, and his lips pushed back hesitantly on Loren's lips, before pushing his body away from hers. This had him hitting his head on the headboard of the bed he was laying in. "Ow! Damn it..." He hissed, rubbing the back of his head in an attempt to soothe the pain. Realizing what he had just done before hitting his head, his face went red. He took a pillow and stuffed his face into it in an attempt to cool his cheeks down. After he cooled down a bit, he looked up and met Loren's eyes. His face immediately went red again and he looked down,"Kind of blunt don't you think? If you liked me, just say so." He chuckled, full of surprises this girl, just cock full of them.

(Sorry again for the late replies.)

After a reaction like that... Loren wasn't quite sure what to think. All the while there was something nudging at the back of the young woman's mind, even has her heart was melting. It was so strange to think of Marcus as adorable, but with his blushing cheeks he was. A little smile flitted across her features, though a shy one. "Alright, I like you Marcus." A rosy hue flushed upon her own cheeks as the brunette regarded him. Lowering her head, Loren tried to push the feeling of sadness away from her. That was what had been pushing her to act in such a strange way. It really made no sense, sicne Loren had nothing to be sad about.

His eyes went wide with surprise. He wasn't expecting that in the least. It was so straightforward, so to the point, that he wasn't even sure if the person confessing was actually Loren. His reaction was plain and simple, he blinked. Once, twice, trying to let the information sink into his mind and compute. And after a minute or so, it finally clicked, and his cheeks were barely tinted with a pinkish hue. Putting a hand to his ear, he said teasingly,"Ah, what's that? I didn't quite catch that Loren~" He wasn't doing it on purpose, but he really wanted her to say it again. "Though, I lo-like you too." With a cheshire cat like grin plastered on his face, he patted the bed next to him,"Care for a snooze?" Snickering to himself, he slid over to the other side of the bed. Perverted thoughts of all kinds filled his head, but he did his best to ignore them as he dug his head into the pillow. He didn't really want to face Loren in such an unmanly state such as his.

For a few frightening moments not a sound filled her ears save the rushing of an invisible wind. Then he started teasing her, making Loren smile. Tilting her head to the side the young woman climbed onto her bed to site beside Marcus. As he hid his face in the pillow, the young woman let her thoughts settle. There was something about this which was familiar, as if it had been done before. Then an image snapped into the forefront. Marcus with gray wings, extending a hand to her though there was a cheer drop hanging below the rooftop. Loren's hand moving forward to accept, then nothing. Shaking her head, Loren moved to place her arms around the angel. "Marcus why are you hiding our face? I think you're adorable when you blush." A soft fluttering kiss found it's way to an expose piece of skin, then she closed her eyes and sighed happily.

Marcus shut his pinkish eyes tightly, like Loren, he too experienced the scene. As soon as Loren's hand touched his, there was a large blinding light. Once brought to reality, he seemed to shake his head a bit. Then, his whole body went rigid, before relaxing at the sound of the brunette's sigh. It sent shivers down his spine, making him feel all tingly as well as warm inside. Despite what he had just seen in his mind, he couldn't help but feel happy the way they were at the moment. He looked up from the pillow. Even though he was still pink in the face, he leaned forward and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. Smirking, he laid back down, stuffing his face into the pillow once again,"Go to sleep already." He mumbled, a small smile making it's way on his pale lips.

[[Hmm, should we time skip into the early morning with Ace and Dustin? Or everyone?]]

Loren smiled in her half asleep state as the angel kissed her. Snuggling closer to him, the young woman fell into a sleep filled with images of herself with Marcus. They seemed so happy! Though there was a sense of danger and menace surrounding him at every action. The dreams were all too real, with a haunting sense of unknown events.

She awoked with a start to find herself clutchign Marcus tightly. The brunette was terrified of him, and of losing him. Confusion wrote itself across her face as she sighed and snuggled against the angel once more.

Waking with a yawn, the blond haired angel lifted his head from it'S resting spot. For a few moments he had no idea what had happened the night before, then he saw Ace nuzzled quietly like a kitten against him. A small smile crossed his face as Custin regarded her tenderly. Brushign a few strands of hair from her eyes, the angel shook his head ruefuly. This was going to complicate things tremendously.

Ace stirred in her deep slumber, the sunlight against her closed eyes were slowly starting to irritate the black haired girl. And since she was being pulled away from her dark, comforting dream, she may as well get up. She felt the soft gentle touch of a masculine hand on her forehead, brushing away a few stray hairs from her eyes. Her eyes seemed to be shut tight, but after a few attempts, she got hem open successfully, exposing ice blue eyes into the light. This caused her to shut them tightly, before opening one eye. Once used to the lighting, she noticed a figure blocking most of her vision. Her other eye opened, and stared at the figure, confused. Her vision was still slightly blurry, and couldn't register the person in front of her. Eyes narrowed, she sat up a bit. Her hair got slickly longer overnight, and it was sticking out on one side. But she took no notice, for her vision had cleared and she was now looking at the man she knew to be the guardian angel of Loren, Dustin, was next to her on her bed. First, many wrong things went through her head on why he was there and not watching Marcus . Which caused a faint blush on her face, so in an attempt to hide it, she tried to go back and stuff her face into the pillow. But she accidentally hit her head on the bedpost. Ace cried out in pain, her hands on her head as she tried to ease the pain, though there were tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

"M-morning Dustin..." She said lamely, now also blushing from embarrassment.

With a small groan at hearing her friend's alarm, the young woman moved from her comfortable possition. A frown crossed her face as Loren regarded the angel in her bed. Rolling her eyes, the young woman moved forward to place a sloppy kiss on his cheek with a smile. "Time to wake up Marcus, love." Her hands moved to prod and tickle until she got a reaction.

Dustin moved immediately to place his hands over hers with a small smile. Easing her hurts away, the angel then placed a small kiss upon her forehead. "Better now? If I had known this woudl surprise you so much, I would have moved before you woke up," murmured Dustin with a slightly amused frown. Sending his thoughts to his charge, he found her to be alright though with someone he rather didn't like. Still, at least they were in the same building.

It was an improvement. Now Dustin could reach Loren easily. That had been his mistake before. The only reason he hadn't fallen was because the fault was not all his, but that of the powers that be also.

Marcus was all groggy from sleep, turned over,"Five more, no ten more minutes...." He mumbled out. But sleep seemed to evade him, so kept his eyes closed. But he kept flinching at the continuous pokes and prods from Loren,"Okay okay. I'm up! I'm up!" He sat up slowly. He had a massive bedhead, random clumps of hair going this way and that. It made the hair look alive. He scratched his head, then opened his eyes and looked around, trying to regain sense on what he was doing. Then he faced Loren,"Oh, morning Loren...." He gave a tired smile as he ruffled her hair playfully.

Ace gave a large pout,"That's so mean Dusty! I thought you knew I get scared easily!" She rubbed the spot where it hurt before, now the pain was eased by Dustin. But that didn't stop a light tint of pink from appearing on her cheeks from the small kiss. "H-hey!" She said defensively, bonking the older man on the head. "I need to check if you caught something from me... So don't question me!" She leaned forward, and touched foreheads with Dustin. So close that their noses were barely touching. A look of relief went on her face,"Oh good, you're not sick." She grinned, her ice blue orbs twinkling in delight. I'm going to the zoo, I saw last week that they had some new exhibits added in, and then a petting zoo!" She squealed happily at the though of seeing the new additions. "So if you're okay with it, and Loren too, you think you'd wanna come?" Her eyes were pleading, mostly because she didn't want to be lonely when she went.

With a smile Loren swatted away the angel's hand. "So how are the wings today? You feeling alright, or do I need to go break out the first aid kit again?" Moving forward the brunette made as if to run a hand over Marcus's wings, but stopped with her hand trembling above the feathered limb. She wasn't sure about this, it seemed like something bad might happen if those few missing centimeters disappeared... Gently placing her hand upon a wing, Loren tried to fight the feeling of foreboding invading her mind.

Chuckling, the angel complied and let the black haired woman do as she wished. At the mention of going to the zoo with Ace, it was Dustin's turn to blush furiously. "Like a date?" blurted out Dustin without thinking. This was bad.. .But wonderful at the same time. In truth the prospect of a date with Ace at the zoo was like a dream come true.

All Dustin got was a skeptical look from Ace, but once it registered, she seemed to explode with embarrassment,D-Date?! Did I sound desperate to him? She waved her hands dismissively, trying to pass off the comment as a joke,"A d-date?! Well, it doesn't have to be like one, since it's, you know, illegal and all..." Ace didn't look at Dustin straight in the eye, rather, she looked at the blankets covering her figure, fidgeting quietly.

As if on cue, a small pain on Marcus's back flared up, causing him to wince,"T-thanks for the reminder..." He mumbled painfully, as a bit of blood started to show on his shirt,"Crap, I thought it would be good by now..." He mumbled, he stood up, but then crumpled to the floor as his legs failed him due to morning weariness. "I say break out the first aid kit before I bleed to my unknown death." He was joking, but just in case she took it seriously, he flapped his wings a bit,"It's not too bad, maybe a few wounds opening up while we were asleep, you know, together." He just had to emphasize it, it just filled his body with warmth, though he found it a bit too seductive.

Smiling, the angel moved forward to ruffle her hair and placed a lingering kiss upon her cheek. Pulling back, there was a twinkle in Dustin's grey eyes. "Now, whoever said anything about this being illegal? Hanging out isn't illegal." Of course it might indeed be more then that, but Dustin was no fool. He knew very well that others had gone down this path before. Some had succeeded in proving that their love was true and pure to the right authorities, and managed to trade in their wings for humanity. It was a fall, but a more then welcome one when love was involved. Anything was worth it for that.

Kneeling down, the young woman regarded the angel with worry. The moment her started speaking about death a panicked look crossed her face and tears filled her eyes. A memory shoved itself into her mind, a horrible one which made her want to lunge at Marcus and make sure he was definitely there. To see if it was real, Loren pulled up her shirt and went to look in the mirror hanging on the back of her door. Upon her body were scars, which for some reason had passed unnoticed to her. Her ears were deaf to what he said as she remembered that terrible fall, and why it had happened.

Glass had shattered everywhere, cutting and slashing, as the young woman had put her trust in the person she loved the most. Now he was lying there without a memory of anything, just like she had remembered nothing. Loren dried her tears, shook her head, and left the room to gather up the first aid kit. As she began treating his wings, she spoke. "Marcus, are you sure we don't know each other? Because I think we did... Before."

Ace bit her lip, she was unsure of what to think now. Sure that her face was red with embarrassment, she refused to look at Dustin as he kissed her cheek,"But, what if...?" She couldn't finish the sentence out loud. Ace was worried that they could end up the same way as Loren and Marcus, and she didn't want that. She doesn't want him to fall because of her selfish actions. Ace shook her head in an attempt to clear the nervous thoughts from her mind and grinned at Dustin,"Never mind! So, you still up for the zoo?" She waved her hands dramatically,"Those animals aren't going to pet themselves!~"

Marcus's pinkish eyes looked over Loren as she ran over the mirror,"Loren? Something wron-" His eyes went blank, and he seemed to be motionless for a bit. It was a blurred image, but he could see the unmistakable head of chestnut brown hair in the blur. It was like a camera that wasn't in focus. All he could do was hear. He saw the brown head disappear, and when he expected to hear a bloodcurdling scream, he was greeted by an eerie silence. It was something he truly feared. When he expects someone to be in pain, there was only silence. Marcus snapped back to reality as he felt a warm pressure on his wings.

He whipped his head to look at the source of the pressure. The familiar brown hair caught his eyes and he relaxed. He didn't trust his voice, but he opened his mouth and said shakily,"It's all a blur, I'm not entirely sure..."

Grinning in turn, Dustin chuckled a little. Though a frown crossed his face soon enough. Something was bothering Loren... And he rather thought it had everything to do with glimpses of the past flashing trough her mind. This was not good, not one bit. "That's a great idea Ace. Maybe we should go tell Loren an Marcus about it..." Worry had written itself on his features without the angel realizing it.

To comfort himself Dustin tugged gently on a strand of Ace's hair with a small smile. Whatever happened, he knew he would miss her more then anything else in the world. This bundle of emotions and the fun personality... It was like all the emotoins he loved wrapped all into one, save the most important. And it seemed like that was beginning to grow within himself, though it would be a while yet before Dustin admitted that to himself or anyoen else.

Loren looked up at him with her blue eyes filled with an unceratin determination. "We need to find out, this is just ... Horrible! I can't, don't, want to imagine why you would ever hurt me and yet that's what I saw... And, I'm always so afraid that something bad's going to happen." It was difficult putting the emotions which had been plaguing her into words, though she knew it was becessary. The fallen angel and the human had to compare notes, how else would tehy figure this little mistery out?

There was Dustin of course, but Loren was fairly certain that even if he knew the angel wouldn't say anything. In either case, the feelings and visions were still vague enough except for that last one. Even so, Loren couldn't bring herself to believe Marcus would ever do such a thing... Purposefully letting her fall to the ground from such a high building, and trough glass! It was too hrrible to contemplate!

(Sorry for taking so long to answer! And, where do we want to take the RP from here? They're both starting to remember, but we still need to figure out what exactly Marcus was doing. We said he wanted to hurt her, that she fell in love with him, but he didn't return, or even know about that.)
