I'm looking for some new anime to watch, and would appreciate some suggestions from other people. :)
Anime's I've already finished:
Kuroshitsuji
Death Note
Loveless
Junjou Romantica
Gravitation
Digimon (All 5 seasons)
Fruits Basket
Strawberry Panic
Highschool of the dead
Currently watching:
Naruto
The Wallflower
Bleach
Princess Princess
Durarara!!
Gakuen Heaven
Clannad
Chrono Crusade
Code Geass
Fairy Tail
Wolf's Rain
Escaflowne
Anime's I don't really like:
Basilisk
Karin
Soul Eater
I've seen only the first episode of a bunch of other animes too, but that would take forever to post.
As you can see my tastes differ quite a bit. :p
But I love a good story line, and deep thought-inducing plot OR hilarious, funny, memorable characters.
Suggest me something, please and thank you?

Uhm.. Maybe Working!!, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Kore wa zombie desu ka?, Princess Tutu, Petite Princess Yucie and Mitsudomoe are a few I actually enjoyed. Madoka/Tutu/Yucie are romance/action, Tutu and Yucie both have a bit more comedy than Madoka though. Working!! and Mitsudomoe are more comedy with a bit of romantic bits thrown in here and there, Zombie is mostly action with some comedy. o:
I just recently finished Madoka, I think it's pretty amazing and definitely worth checking out.
Also, I agree with the Escaflowne and Kenshin recommendations, they really are amazing.
Though, I didn't really appreciate the Escaflowne movie too much. :gonk:

@rainy december nights:
Yea. I watched the anime before the movie, most people have seen the movie before the anime though.. In my opinion, it was just an attempt at fitting the entire series into a short movie thing, and they cut out a lot of things too and completely changed it.. Reminds me of a fanfiction gone wrong or something.

Oh! Also Baccano!. Warning - lots of blood, gangsters and immortals. It all gets cleared up in the end, though.

Blood, gangsters and immortals you say? You have piqued my interest.
Hmm, I'll have to take a look at all of these, at least look up the summaries, see if they appeal to me.
Unless someone wouldn't mind sharing them? Because for example, I wasn't able to find ANYTHING on Count sais saga or godchild. Which is a bit frusterating. >.<

@rainy december nights:
Actually, if I remember correctly, I saw the very beginning of the movie on Adult Swim I think a few years ago. I thought it was pretty stupid so I changed the channel to Animal Planet. So I guess I lied about watching the anime before the movie, ahaha. But yea, whenever I mention Escaflowne to people they either have never heard of it, or have seen the movie on AS and automatically say it sucks because they don't know there's a series. X: The same with Read or Die I'm afraid.
Oh yeah, GangsterGlam, that's another pretty good series for you. Read or Die. :D It's really good.

Here are some good classics and hits That both me and my brothers and husband enjoy
Saiyuki (priests demons, sarcasm, cigarettes, drama, etc...)
trigun ( ah such memorable characters and a cool scifi western story.
ranma 1/2 (another old classic, gender bender and too many girls for the guy to keep up with)
cowboy bebop (bounty hunters in space with cool blues music)
Tenchi muyo (if you find ranma to be in your liking this is another harem one...)
Wolf's rain ( a darker post apocalyptic tale with wolves.)
Blue exorcist ( a new one, with only about 4ish episodes right now but it looks really really promising so far...)
Deadman wonderland (Or something like that, another new one like blue exorcist which is dark, bloody. Combine a jail and a carnival/ roman gladiator ring and you get this show.)
I'll post more when I think em up~

Some of these sound really promising, thank you. :)
I've seen the first episode of Wolf's Rain before, perhaps I'll continue it now..
I'd also been thinking about watching Blue Exorcist, so it's good to know it seems promising. I'd seen it in a Shonen Jump magazine.

Angel Beats - Boy wakes up to find himself in a school... dead. And joins a club that's in a battle against God. Action with a bit of romance.
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (Or Ano Hana for short xD) - This is still airing. A girl who died comes back to have a wish granted by her friend.
Bakemonogatari - After being cured of being a vampire, a boy helps other people with their paranormal problems.
Cowboy Bebop - Amazing, amazing anime. Classic.
Elfen Lied - It's been a while since I saw this, but its about a girl who's a strange race with these weird invisible arms and she rips people to shreds and then loses her memory and stuff or something and its really gory.
Genshiken - A boy joins a club in university full of otakus.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai - Someone goes nuts, kills their friends. Alternate world. Someone else goes nuts and kills their friends. Repeat. The second season, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai explains all that the first season doesn't.
Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) and Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori - Get revenge on someone by making a pact with the Hell Girl. She will drag their soul to Hell, but you have to go to Hell too when you die.
Ouran High School Host Club - In order to pay back a debt for braking an expensive vase in a prestigious school for rich kids, Haruhi joins the host club, a club that girls pay to spend time with a host. Comedy/Romance.
Toradora - A girl and boy decide to help each other hook up with each other's friends.

Hell girly specifically. Won't my best friend be happy to gear that? She loves it, so I guess I can watch it with her now.
What on earth is cowboy bebop about? It sounds so weird to me, and I'm deterred by the name alone, but people have been mentioning it a lot and I'm not curious. :/

Cowboy Bebop is about a group of bounty hunters that travel on a space ship called the Bebop and hunt bounties. It's really great because it's a mesh of different genres and all the characters have pasts that only bits and pieces are revealed about along the way. Each episode is different, so it's hard to go into greater detail without spoiling some stuff.

Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex- It's about a special crime unit in a time in the future when cyberization is possible. The crime unit deals with special cases involving hackers or cyborgs. The 1st season always has an interesting case in it, and oddly for the time this was made there are some items which seem to remind you of recent things on the Internet (PSN takeover, Anonymous, etc), and the show never ceases to make you think.
...Though 2nd GIG I honestly didn't like. Too much "terrorism plot #6" in it. Although unique, it's not unique not enough for me.
Hellsing- Basically it's about a special organization that hunts vampires. Watch it for that, stay for a few of if not the greatest vampire characters ever. I personally like the original anime better than Hellsing Ultimate (the OVAs), but they're both great.
Afro Samurai- This thing is really bloody and explicit, but really cool and sometimes funny with a dose of creativity along with cliches. Watch it with dubs, the voice actors in that can play the characters better I think. Think Dolomite except for tons less Boom Mic and "bad movie syndrome," plus it's an anime and about a silent man getting revenge for his father by hunting down the greatest fighter in the world. Guns, swords, and funk everywhere.

If you liked Death Note you should try Code Geass. The main character is much like Light with how he's a genius, always thinking above the other guy who (like L) has his own trips up his sleeve. Its set in Japan which is being taken over and Lelouch (the main character) trying to take power away from people who don't deserve it.

Blood+ has lot's of fighting blood shed even vampire like creatures. the series run's for 4season's has great plot to it.
Big O Has giant robot fight's main male character has to try help a city with lost memories out each ep.
Revolutionary Girl Utena is a classic anime has ton's of sword fighting. it's a pretty funny anime at time has Yuri, romance, metaphysical, surreal, and allegorical. It contains a mix of borrowed visuals from Takarazuka theater, shadow puppetry.
If you are a adult try out Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt it has its funny moments. fighting, monsters, mess up plot crazy story lines for most eps. oh I forgot to add this anime has a lot of cursing in it by that basically curse words.
Sailor Moon is classic anime magical anime girl, romance, fighting, action great plot to the hole series. it run's for 5full season in japan back in the day but the usa only got hold of the first 4season's. only way to see the last season is by internet are buy dvd copy of Sailor Stars season off of some website.

Oooh, Blood+! I haven't finished it yet, but it's surprisingly well crafted for what on the surface seems like a normal cliche "teenage school girl with ambiguous history has speshul powers and kills the bad guys" show in the first few episodes. A recommended and somewhat underrated anime if you love action with... well literally blood everywhere (she puts her own blood into her sword to be able to kill those things) and watching a guy with great hair hit things with a cello case shaped like a coffin. :D

Given you are into the paranormal/sci-fi genres, I have two suggestions.
Ghost Hound is the first, it's pretty high on my list of favs. But it is very interesting. Though it's hard to talk about without ruining, considering how things happen, so this one is best left to personal research. xD
Second is Serial Experiments: Lain, again pretty high on the list~ x3
Anime about a girl who slowly gets into the computer world shortly after computers were made public. Though after strange events (interesting twists~) things get really weird~. This one is from age of Bebop, BoogieBop Phantom, older, really well made anime. x]
