Ichigo felt a terrible presence head towards them and quickly put his sword up to block whatever it was that came flying towards them. Seeing an arrow made completely of Reishi, he instantly knew that this was fired from a Quincy Bow.

Hoshi knew the feeling she felt close by wasn't Ishida, knowing he was in another part of town. She wondered who else it could be though. She finished fighting the hollows , keeping her guard up in case something happened.

"Quincy? What's going on?" Katniss asked as she aimed an arrow around Ichigo and shot back at the white-robed man. However, a barrier prevented her arrow from hitting. After a few more minutes of this, a female appeared next to him.

"We've got what we came here for," she whispered into his ear, a sleeping Rue in her arms.

"Rue!" Katniss shouted as she started getting hysterical and tried running towards them. However, Ichigo grabbed onto her gar, stopping her in her tracks. "Let me go!" she shouted as he refused. Before she could notch an arrow into her bow to fire at him, the three vanished. Turning towards Ichigo, she glared at him and asked what he was doing.

"If you want to go on a suicide run, don't do it within my sight. You may not have seen it, but I did. They were at full strength and willing to use high-leveled abilities on us. How long do you think we could have lasted?" Ichigo asked in a cold and calm tone.

Hoshi sensed Rue, and had a feeling something was wrong. " We better find Ichigo. " She said, feeling afraid.

Tetsu regained consciousness and groaned. He had just gotten into his Shinigami form when he had been knocked out. He had feeling Rue was gone and Shupoed toward Ichigo. He hoped he wasn't right on who he thought it was.

Ichigo was glad that Katniss decided on not firing any arrows at him, but he knew they had to get Rue back. Feeling everyone starting to gather around them, he took a small breath in, waiting to explain what happened, if it was needed.

Hoshi arrived to where Ichigo was and saw her dad arrive shortly after. " What happened to Rue?" Hoshi asked in a worried voice.

" I didn't know they would be able to get through the barrier. I was knocked out and didn't wake up until I saw them leaving with Rue-chan.By then it was too late. ' Tetsu said feeling it was his fault. He found it strange that Quincy would be involved. He knew they needed to get Rue back.

"Why take Rue-chan though?" Tatsuki asked after she got there with Hoshi and heard what happened. She heard Ryu-kun growl at such an underhanded tactic but chose to ignore it, for now anyways.

"I don't know," Ichigo said solemnly. "but what I do know, is that we're getting her back," Ichigo continued on, knowing that if anyone else was captured then everyone would be gunning to rescuing him or her.

" Did you happen to see how they left ? " Tetsu asked. He hoped that Soul Society didn't know about this yet, not wanting a repeat of 200 years ago. He also had a feeling that they might have been after Hoshi instead of Rue, but shook that thought out of his mind.

"They just vanished. And I'm not talking about going into a portal. One moment they were there, the next, they weren't," Ichigo said as he tried explaining what he thought was going on. He also silently wondered if they were after Hoshi, but they did say they got what they came for so that theory didn't make any sense.

" This isn't good at all." Tetsu said. He knew that these were the Quincy he was told about by a friend of his in college. he had a feeling things were worse than he thought they were.

"What do you mean Tetsu-san?" Tatsuki asked out of curiosity. It seemed that he knew something about the Quincy that recently attacked them. She noticed how overprotective the new female shinigami was of Rue and how pissed off she was at her being abducted. She shook her head as she watched Ichigo take care of her.

" I have a friend in Colorado who is a Quincy. He told me 18 months ago about this faction that want to finish what they started centuries ago and pretty much caused the events of 200 years ago. He said that he didn't know much ,other than that they had ways of keeping hidden. "Tetsu said. He knew there had to be a way to get Rue backand wondered of they were using Kyoka Sugestu .

"What would they want with Rue though?" Katniss asked angrily after hearing everything. She wasn't mad at any of the shinigami that fought with her, but rather she was angry at herself, for not being able to protect her pseudo-sister. Rue wasn't even a shinigami...

"Could they be using Kyoka Sugestu?" Ichigo asked. If they were, then things could get very difficult, very quickly. He also was worried about Katniss and the state of mind she was in. If possible, it seemed as if she thought of Rue as a little sister...

" I don't know exactly. Possibly as a bargaining tool. They might be, though there still is the possibly that a rouge Shinigami is helping them." Tetsu said. He still had the feeling there was more to this than they knew right now.

Katniss took a long breathe in order to calm down. She knew that she had to get her emotions under control before she was taken off of this mission. "There's to many unknowns here. Is there anything we can do that will help us gather information?" Katniss asked. As long as she stayed focused on the mission, she could cope with the fact she lost her pseudo-sister.

" As far a I know there isn't. But I have the feeling Kisuke might have an idea about this. " Tetsu said. " I promise Katniss-San we'll get Rue back. " He said meaning every word. He hoped Urahara could help.

"Thank you Tetsu-sama," Katniss replied, knowing that he was an ex-captain. She just didn't want what happened to Rue while they were alive happen again. She couldn't save her that time, but this time she was going to do anything and everything to save Rue, even if it meant gaining powers of a Hollow.

" We should get to Urahara's to meet with the others." Tetsu said and shunpoed in that direction. He could sense the other shinigami that had been here to fight the hollows, not sure if they knew of what had just happened. he dreaded on what he might have to say.

Ichigo used a shunpo to get to Urahara's shop, waiting for the others to appear. Soon after, Katniss, Tatsuki, Hoshi and the others were there.

"I think I may have an idea on what might have happened. " Urahara said once everyone was in the back room. He had feeling something much bigger was at work.

Ichigo raised an eyebrow at this. "Like what?" he asked.

" I think the Quincy you encountered might be under the control of Kyoka Sugetsu. Tetsu told before you arrived that he thought he had sensed something similar about the feel in the air that reminded him of when he was under the the control. I don't think they would be on our side any way, but I would rather have them against us under their own free will. " Urahara said giving a theory. He still wasn't sure how they would get Rue back.

"If that's the case, then who's controlling them, and why?" Ichigo asked. He also knew then that kidnapping Rue was no accident, it was done on purpose. The only problem he had was why Rue was the target instead of someone else. Unless Ichigo and the others were never a target by the puppet master in the first place. With that thought in mind, he turned to Katniss.

"Did you have any enemies? Either in your past life or during your time as a Shinigami?" Ichigo asked the female shinigami.

Tetsu hoped Katniss could help. He didn't know much about her. He didn't like it that more people were being used as puppets.

"I had two. I don't remember their last names but one was a female named Coin and the other is a male named Snow. Both of them had similar ideas and wanton of power. I assassinated Coin at the pretense of killing Snow for the crimes that he did to our world. You don't think one of them are behind all of this just to get back at me, do you?" Katniss asked as the thought passed her mind.
