Ichigo used the new form of zangetsu to slash several of the arrows in quick succession. He didn't know what this female Quincy wanted with Saya, but he would be damned if he let her get past them.

Hoshi slashed the arrows with her shikai, glad that they had arrived in time. She hoped they could keep their enemy away from Saya.

Ichigo noticed something strange while they were fighting the Quincy, but kept quiet about it has he slashed another arrow in half before seeing it vanish.

Saya felt tense, as if there was something headed toward where she was." Do you sense that?" Saya asked, hoping she wasn't being paranoid.

Ishida nodded as well. "I felt it, but I think Kurosaki and the others are taking care of it." He said before focusing on it a little, surprised that it was a female Quincy. He then sensed someone materializing in front of him and instantly brought out his bow, the Reishi energy it created was what saved his life.

Saya got her crossbow ready , and knew someone was close to them. She would fight as hard as she could to avoid being captured.

"Well isn't this a surprise. I go out on a normal stroll through the town and I just happen to find one of my targets!" the male member of Vandenreich said as he brought his bowstring back, ready to fire another arrow of pure Reishi.

"Targets?" Ishida asked.

Saya scowled. She would prove that was wrong to target her in the first place. Though she wouldn't say that out loud. She hoped they could get someplace safe.

the male Vandenreich shut up, knowing that he had said too much before firing another arrow quickly. He was surprised when his arrow was hit with Saya's arrow. As far as he knew, he had one of the fastest arrow speed known to Quincies.

The female Quincy knew she was out matched and hoped her partner was having better luck. She kept firing arrows as fast as she was able to.


Saya kept firing the dagger like arrows at their enemy. She knew better than to call a Vandenreich member a Quincy , knowing Vandenreich members didn't uphold the values the Quincy did.

Rukia was glad that Ichigo and Hoshi were helping her deal with this Vandenreich, not wanting to think of what would happen if she had to face her alone. Seeing Hoshi activate her zanpakuto's ability, she thought for a few seconds before slowly turning the air around the mist into an ice prison. Once that was done, she breathed heavily, not use to using so much reiatsu to do something such as that.

Uryuu Ishida was many things, but one thing he wasn't was a coward. After this battle, he swore that he would work on his speed when it came to his arrows, but right now all he was doing was providing cover fire for Saya. He was also waiting for the right moment to fire a Steele Schneider as well, but wouldn't waste those like he had in the past, remembering what Saya's aunt told him.

The female Quincy was feeling cold suddenly and was feeling affects of the strange fog that was around. She wasn't going to give up so easily ,unless she was forced to .


Saya continued to counter her attacker's arrows , not sure how much longer she could do so. She knew he was much stronger than she was , but wouldn't run. She wanted to be sure she would safe.

Rukia was glad to see that the ice fog was working and knew that it would only take time before the female would succumb to either the ice or the illusions within Hoshi's technique.

Ishida saw the male Vandenreich member starting to tire, most likely not use to pulling the amount of arrows that he usually did for a long period of time. 'a sniper?' he thought to himself, as the idea did sound intriguing. He put it the back of him mind before seeing an opportunity to fire and hit their opponent. Taking the opportunity, his Steele Schneider hit the shoulder that he was using to draw back and fire the arrows.

Katia was having a difficult time trying to focus as she aimed. The fog and the figures inside were throwing off her perception and the cold wasn't helping either. She wasn't going to surrender though, knowing if she quit now her superiors would not be forgiving. She decided to take her chances with the shinigami.

Ichigo saw the combination of both techniques working well and wondered how much longer she could withstand the two techniques. "Think we should check in on her?" Ichigo asked both Rukia and Hoshi. He wouldn't mind if she froze to death, but also thought that it would be a good idea to have a captive in order to get some information.

Hoshi nodded and knew their opponent might be able to provide them some information.

Katia was feeling the effects of the cold and carefully went to the ground. She could see the fog dissipating and wondered what her foes were planning. She was willing to die at their hands knowing she had failed and hoped her partner was having better luck.

Ichigo went up to the ice dome. Looking towards Rukia, she nodded before he rapped his knuckles on the dome. "Vandenreich-chan, how would you like to live?" he asked.

Ishida grinned lightly as the Vandenreich male yelled out in pain as he clutched his shoulder, his bow dissipating as he grabbed his shoulder. Before either Uryuu or Hoshi could do anything about it, he opened a portal and vanished. He knew that his superiors would not like the fact that he failed on his mission, but he was able to get vital data on how Saya fought.

" I want to live. " Katia said with a slight tremble in her voice. She just wanted out of this dome.


Saya was glad the fighting was over, but still felt uneasy. She knew they would keep trying to capture her.

"You swear that if I ask my friend here to release this dome, you won't try attacking us?" Ichigo asked. After everything that they've gone through, he wasn't going to take any risks. He was waiting for an answer from the trapped female.

"I swear. " Katia said. Her arms and legs were numb and knew she wouldnt be able to move very fast if she did run.

Once Ichigo got her word that she wouldn't try to run, even though he knew that she couldn't, he nodded to Rukia who let down the ice dome.

Katia was glad to be able to feel warm air again. She was feeling weak and couldn't feel her partner, in the area. She was angry that he had left her here and he probably would be the one to hunt her down. Katia figured either way she was dead, not sure what the shinigami would do to her.

Once Ichigo returned with the captive Vandenreich she quickly placed a talisman on her so that she couldn't reach her energy. While probably unnecessary, she wanted to be on the safe side.

Katia wasn't sure what information they would want. She was just an underling and probably wouldn't be of much help." I'll tell you what I can.Though I doubt it will be much help." She said.

"As long as you help, then I'm sure we can be reasonable. Now then, how about an easy question first. What's your name?" Rukia asked, not wanting to just call her 'female Quincy' or Vandenreich member.
