" Its good to see you guys. " Urahara said when he finished climbing the stairs. He knew this would be a good training session.

Ichigo chuckled lightly when he saw Shinji dodge the sandal of Hiyori's. "I was wondering when you were going to start dodging that," Ichigo said, grinning lightly when he saw the old gang. He wondered which one took the official role of captain and lieutenant, remembering that they all had that rank previous to being made vizards. "So...who is the official captain of squad 14?" he asked nonchalantly.

Urahara wondered that too but wouldn't be surprised if it was Shinji. Though he could be wrong.

"We made this idiot here the captain, and I'm the sub-captain," Hiyori stated in her usual blunt fashion. "We had to give him something to do, you know how he is if left to his own devices," she said, causing Ichigo to chuckle lightly.

"I know exactly what you mean Hiyori-chan," he said before seeing Urahara and Katniss. "Anyways, perhaps we should have introductions later, once we get downstairs.

" I agree. Everyone ready?" Urahara asked.

everyone nodded at that.

" Then lets go. " Urahara said before climbing down the ladder.

Ichigo nodded, noticing that Katniss was smirking just a little, rolling his eyes when he heard his inner hollow.

'she seems happy about this,' his Inner Hollow stated, then again, he was interested in this as well, seeing as another Hollow was about to be born.

Hoshi suddenly felt cold and wondered why. She hoped everything was alright.


" Alright now that we are here we can begin. This area is large enough that two sessions can take place. Me and Soi-Fong will be working on a theory I have while the rest of you help Katniss. Just let me know if we are needed. " Urahara said.

"And I'll be here with you too Kat-chan," Ichigo added, knowing that the girl asked for him to be there.

"A pet name for her already Ichi? I thought you had that orange-haired girl, or what about Rukia?" he asked, getting a facepalm from Ichigo and a sandal to the back of the head from Hiyori.

Urahara chuckled at the scene. " We should get started soon. Just try not to hit Shinji too much Hiyori-chan. " Urahara said with a laugh remembering the good days as a captain. He would be careful not to get hit by a sandal.

"No promises," Hiyori quickly commented, causing a chuckle to come from everyone in the area.

Urahara laughed and then turned to Soi-Fong. " Ready to get started?" He asked.

Soi-fong nodded as she whispered Bankai, her hornet-like stinger morphing into it's rocket launcher appearance, as the steadying and bulky armor appeared around her body. Anyone knowing her would know why she hated her Bankai...it traded the speed that she valued for power. "Whenever you're ready Kisuke-san," she replied.

"Um...what do I need to do?" Katniss asked unsure. It usually wasn't like her to be unaware of the situation, but she knew that everyone around her had a vast amount more of experience when it came to weilding Bankai, their masks and both at the same time. She hated to admit it, but here...she was a novice, once again.

'Don't be like that Catnip, or should I call you 'Kat-chan' like your boyfriend does?' he asked with a small smirk as her spirit read her like an open book. Katniss rolled her eyes at the spirit while thinking back to him that he wasn't her boyfriend before cutting the mental link off, knowing she needed to pay attention.

" I'm ready. " Urahara said holding the disk Katia gave him. He had given Soi-Fong his invention and hoped it worked when he activated the disk.

Soi-fong looked at the device for a few seconds before placing it on her zanpakuto at the base, like Kisuke had instructed. She just hoped that it worked as instructed.

Urahara activated the disk and saw that Soi-Fong still had her Bankai. " I'm glad it works!" He said. Now he just needed to know if it could retrieve a Bankai.

Soi-fong let out a rare grin, glad to know that Kisuke's invention worked, especially since it would help immensely against the fight with the Vandenreichs

" Let's try the second function. This time I'll steal your Bankai and using the device get it back. " He said.

(I was thinking something like the armor from the third book, and it raises her defense, but doesn't sacrifice speed while wearing it. If you have something else in mind though, I'm all ears.)

Soi-fong nodded as she took the device off of her zanpakuto. She hoped this would also work, but wasn't sure of the outcome. Either way, she was glad that they had found Katia, who had made all of this possible.

" Ready?" Urahara asked hoping that this phase of the testing went well.

( Sounds good to me. )

(alright. I have no idea what the name should be though for the bankai)

"I'm ready," she said, although she wasn't exactly sure what to do after her bankai would be taken.

" Now when I take it, press the button on the device and that should retrieve the Bankai." Urahara instructed.

"Alright," she said, ready for anything.

Urahara pressed the button on the disk and stole Soi-Fong's Bankai. He felt guilty doing so but knew she could retrieve it with the device she had.
