Soi-fong felt cold, as if something had been ripped from her very heart after Kisuke stole her bankai, leaving her only with her shikai. Resisting the urge to shiver, she quickly pressed the button on the side of the device, hoping that this worked. While she may not have liked her bankai, the petite captain never wanted to feel like this again.

"First it would be a good idea to show us what your Bankai is Kat-chan," Ichigo said after Katniss asked what to do. From there, he would let Shinji and the others take over.

Urahara felt the power in the disk he was holding. " I wonder if the Vandenriech want to use these for their plan ?"He thought to himself in alarm. " Now just charge at me and press that button. " He said ready to dodge.

Katniss nodded and unsealed Mockingjay. She then said Bankai and was covered in armor. She still had her bow in her hand but knew it was a stronger form of her Shikai.

"Interesting...it seems as if it's like my Bankai. Nothing to big but still impressive. Wonder what it can do," Ichigo asked, wondering what the name of her Bankai was.

Soi-fong nodded and did as Urahara said.

Urahara felt the Bankai get absorbed by the device and dodged out of the way so he didn't get hit. " Do you have it back? I wasn't sure if the Bankai would be reunited with the Zanpaktou. " He said.

" Glad you think it's impressive. Now what happens ? Katniss asked.

Soi-fong stopped for a few seconds and closed her eyes, quickly checking to see if she had her Bankai back. She did admit that the feelings she had a few seconds ago were gone, but it would only be confirmed when her bee-like spirit gave the okay, which she did. "Suzumebachi said that she has it back," she explained.

"We test it out," Ichigo said with a smirk.

" I'm glad. Thank you for helping me test the device out." Urahara said.

" Alright then." Katniss said returning the smirk.

'I like this girl,' Hichigo said, causing Ichigo to mentally roll his eyes before activating his Bankai, knowing that he was going to enjoy this.

"You're welcome. I'm just glad that we have a way to effectively fight now," she responded.

Katniss was ready to start knowing this training would let her get better at her Bankai.

" I know it will take me less time to make copies of the device since I know that anyone who has a Bankai will want one. " Urahara said. He knew of a few Shinigami who had their Bankai and weren't captains.

Soi-fong nodded, knowing a few people who would like the device that Kisuke was making.

(also, I'm keeping his bankai from before the timeskip. I'm not a big fan of the new one to be honest)

Ichigo held Tensa Zangetsu in his hand with the smirk still on his face as he vanished, attacking the new armor of Katniss

( Neither am I really.)

I should have them by late tomorrow or early Tuesday. I have everything I need to make more. I'm thinking of keeping a few to give to the Shinigami here. I have a feeling we are going to need all the help we can get once the fighting starts. " Urahara said.


Katniss quickly dodged and fired arrows toward Ichigo. She figured this was part of her forming her inner hollow but wasn't exactly sure.

"That makes sense actually, although I thought only Ichigo has Bankai," Soi-Fong stated, a little on the confused side.

'so her armor doesn't hinder her reactions nor her speed, interesting' Ichigo thought to himself as he blocked the arrows with his sword, a small grin on his face as he attacked her, hoping that this would help create her own hollow. He wasn't sure if this would work or not though, seeing as Zangetsu had formed his hollow side as a test long ago.

There are a few others here in Karakura that have Bankai. Tetsu and Isshin do and I have a feeling they might become involved if things get worse. "Urahara said not mentioning that Tatsuki and Hoshi had Bankai.


Katniss continued to dodge and wondered how much more of this she could take. She was feeling tired and wondered if this was way to awaken her hollow.

Soi-fong had to admit that Kisuke had a good point, even though she didn't want to admit it.

'This should be working, right?' he asked Hichigo as his Hollow agreed in the positive saying that she should be starting to hear the Hollow's voice soon.

'You gonna let me fight her when she loses control of her Hollow form?' he asked, growling lightly as Ichigo said that he would only as a last resort, and only that transformation.

Katniss felt the feeling get stronger as she got tired. She hoped she would be able to control her hollow not wanting to hurt anyone and not be able to stop it.

Shinji felt the Hollow starting to form within Katniss, surprised that Ichigo's way of creating a Hollow was actually working. Then again, from he overheard, she did have a short temper. "Hachi, it might be wise to set up a small barrier," he said to the large man beside him.

Katniss felt like she was losing control and could sense the hollow inside of her getting stronger. She wasn't going to show how afraid she was feeling.

Ichigo saw the small amount of fear in her eyes, as well as the determination to not lose to her developing Hollow. Sighing lightly to himself, he felt the barrier being put into place. 'He's gotten stronger at making those,' he thought to himself.

Katniss felt a barrier being put into place as she was loosing control. She wasn't going to give up control without a fight but as the time went on, the harder it got.

She felt the shinigami that was originally in control of the body they shared starting to lose control. Soon, soon she would be able to take the position of Queen away from the shinigami. All she needed to do was wait a little longer before pulling the angry and scared little girl into her mind scape before trapping her here.

Katniss found herself in her mind scape and hoped this was normal. She had to find a way to regain control, not liking feeling so helpless.


Hoshi had a feeling something was wrong with Katniss and hoped she would be alright.

Ichigo noticed that Katniss stopped fighting in the real world and knew that this was only the beginning. He just hoped that Kisuke had protected this place from any other shinigami, knowing that this was about to get a little on the ugly side. Preparing for the worse, Ichigo placed his hand above his face and dragged it down, the Hollow Mask materializing quickly over him.

The Hollow version of Katniss grinned lightly to herself once she saw the Queen standing in the mindscape. All she had to do now was to break her spirit and then their body would become hers. She knew that the girl hated being helpless...it was why she used the emotion of anger to hide it. She would wait a few more minutes before showing herself to the girl, hoping that she would make herself vulnerable and weak by letting her own weakness get to her.

Urahara was glad that the shop was concealed from the Shinigami , not wanting them to react to what was happening to Katniss. He was glad Soi-Fong had left to report about the device and really didn't want to explain what was happening. He knew that it was for the best that Katniss was doing this now, remembering what had happened to Ichigo. He was working on making more devices and already had a few done.

A few seconds passed before the Hollow version of Katniss slowly made her way into the light, purposely making noise so that the human could see her. While she wouldn't mind sneaking up on her in the future, or during any fights for dominance over the body, the hollow thought it was simply wrong for her to just sneak up unknowingly to her prey.

Katniss heard the sound and then saw her hollow version. She gave a scowl and was ready to do anything to regain control.

Hollow Katniss smirked as she saw her human counterpart scowl. Oh the fun she was going to have with her... Notching an arrow, her smirk only got bigger as she let it fly.
