Katniss dodged the arrows and fired some of her own. She wasn't going to lose this fight, knowing her life depended on it.

Hollow Katniss dodged the arrows that her human counterpart sent out at her, the smirk not leaving her face as she dodged them. "It's not going to be that easy..." she said. "But I will let you in on a little secret. You see...I've been watching you fight all these years and all you use are the blasting arrows and poison arrows. You haven't accessed the more fun ones," she said as she notched an arrow before letting it fly, aiming for her feet. However, unlike the other arrowheads, this one was a pale blue color.

( sorry about taking so long. Ended up watching Captain America, Thor and Avengers today with some friends)

Katniss dodged and wondered what type of arrows those were. She liked using the ones that had the most effect when they hit. She used poison arrows hopimg that she would be able to beat her hollow side.

(It's alright. did you get the extra ending of Avengers?)

The Hollow ducked under the poison arrows as she saw the ice arrows hit and disperse, causing the area that Katniss was standing just a few seconds ago to freeze over. Unfortunately because she ducked, she couldn't get in a lucky free shot. Pressing the middle of her bow, the Hollow separated the bow into two separate blades.

( I didn't. I wish I had but they were almost out of the movie at the store Which is surprising to see in my area. )

Katniss had seen the area where she had been standing freeze over and decided to use that to her advantage. She also was surprised that her hollow had turned the bow into blades and was beginning to wonder how much she didn't know about her Zanpaktou.

(alright. $10 says it's on youtube by now lol)

Hollow Katniss smirked lightly as she saw the surprised look on the light side's face. "Oh? You didn't know about this? I thought the almighty Hunter knew everything when it came to your specialized bow. Maybe then you would be able to find your precious little duck," she said mockingly (pun not intended) to Katniss.

( I'll have to look for it on you tube, but I bet it's already been taken off. Many times already. Not looking forward to watching this weeks Doctor Who. I keep reading how sad it is. I got the season pass on iTunes. Stupid cable company doesn't offer BBCA anymore.>:( )

"Don't you say that about Rue!" Katniss said and fired more arrows off. She knew the hollow was just trying to get to her. She hadn't let Snow or Coin , but then again they weren't a reflection of who she was.

"Ah...the second person that you failed in your life, or was it your third Catnip?" The Hollow asked as she weaved around the arrows, cutting the ones that she couldn't dodge, hinting that she was talking more about what happened while Katniss was still alive instead of just Rue. She knew that the first barb angered the Queen of their body and hopefully only a few more would be needed before she became the Queen and the one she was fighting would become the horse...

Ichigo dodged another projectile from Katniss's hollowed hand, hoping that she wasn't losing the inner battle between her battle and herself. Using the speed granted by Tensa Zangetsu, Ichigo vanished from the view of Hollow.

( I will. Probably will look again tomorrow. At least I still have syfy and AMC.my mom has Dish and lost AMC. She said she'll come to my apartment to watch the Walking Dead. Not much of a zombie fan, but I like that show for some reason. )

"If you mean Prim And the others know I deserve that. I should have listened to them when things got bad for me. " She said shuddering involuntary. Katniss knew she would have been better telling about those nightmares, though she didn't know at the time that they would kill her in the end. She rememberd what her hollow did and split her bow into two blades. She had to win this fight. It wasn't for her for those she had let down.

(Never got into The Walking Dead honestly. Luckily I have TWC so I don't have to deal with these sort of problems, even if they did take off the CoolTV which was a good MV channel. Nightmares killing her?)

"Yes, you should have. And now you let their deaths guilt you, causing you to throw up this mask of anger to hide your true self," the Hollow said as she smirked lightly when she saw the Queen separate her bow just like she did a few seconds ago. "Learning from me, are we? Perhaps I could teach you a few more things with the bladed version..." she said as she headed towards Katniss.

Ichigo blocked against Katniss's claw-like hand, instantly moving backwards when he saw that she was about to shoot those strange projectiles at him from point-blank range. He heard Shinji ask if he wanted to switch but ignored him. He wanted to do this...he wanted to help Katniss get stronger.

( I like TCM but i just like old movies. If they get rid of that. I'll get rid of cable, but then I wouldn't be able to watch local channels. I thought she was the victim of the same thing that happened to Tatsuki earlier in this arc? Maybe I'm wrong, if I am I'm sorry. I think it was mentioned on page 128. Back tracked a bit. Just noticed we are 7 pages from hitting 200 )

Katniss got ready to block the attack using both her blades. She had done well in her sword training and hoped she still remembered what she had been taught.

(You're right. I just forgot is all. My bad! Hopefully something like that doesn't happen again...)

She wouldn't admit it, but she was somewhat disappointed that her tactic of angering her with the previous knowledge of the nightmares and the people she failed didn't break the Queen's spirit, as she charged in with the left blade aimed high, while the other blade was in a low attack position. "Why did you let those nightmares kill you in the end Queenie? I was always curious about that..."

" I thought they were the same as the ones I always have." Katniss said, wishing she had known the difference then. She had to win this fight.

The Hollow nodded in understanding before smirking lightly as her blades drew first blood. It was a small scratch, but it was a success all the same. "And the first point goes to me Queen-san. How many more marks do I have to make on that beautiful skin of yours before you submit I wonder..." she thought aloud as she got back into her stance.

Katniss felt the sting of the cut and got in a better fighting position. She changed how she had been postioning the blades and charged toward her hollow self.

The Hollow saw Katniss rushing towards and smirked lightly before bringing the two blades together and creating the bow once more. Quickly taking an arrow with a yellow tip on it this time, she fired it at the shinigami.

It had been at least an hour since Katniss started to become Hollow and right now she was almost fully Hollowfied. The only thing that signified she was still fighting was the fact that her hair had yet to fully recede, nor did the Hollow's mask cover her face, at least not fully. Jumping backwards to avoid the tail she had gained, he ignored his hollow's voice as he continued fighting. 'Come on Kat, I know you can do it,' he thought to himself.

Katniss blocked the arrow with both of the blades and continued her charge. She knew a bow was some times better than a sword, but then a sword was good to block an arrow. She was confident she was going to win.

The Hollow scowled lightly as the shock arrow she used didn't go off. Quickly separating the bow into two blades, she got herself into a defense stance.

Katniss kept in the defensive position and struck the blades of her hollow self. She knew she had to keep fighting hard.

"Not bad. Perhaps if you win, I'll show you a few other tricks," the Hollow said with a smirk, as she felt her blade hit flesh yet again. "And you need to work on your defense more Queenie," she said. "Perhaps you could learn something from your boyfriend?"

" He isn't my boyfriend !" Katniss said blocking another swing and swung one blade toward her hollow and the other blocking a strike.

The Hollow chuckled lightly at that while they were at a stalemate at the moment. "Then just why are you blushing, hm Queenie?" she asked as she put more force behind the sword that was attacking.

Katniss scowled. She wished her hollow would stop goading her like this and put more more force into her attacks. She had a feeling she was gaining ground over her hollow for some reason.

(out of curiosity, did you finish your project?)

The Hollow inwardly frowned, seeing that she was losing just a bit of ground. Moving just a fraction of a way back, she let the Queen's blade catch the top of her clothing as she let the second blade create a tear around her right knee. It didn't draw blood unfortunately, but the cut was still there.

( I did. Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.)

Katniss was glad she was gaining some ground. She continued to fight her hollow until she was able to get some hits in. She knew she was regaining control.
