"That's probably a good idea, although I suggest you stay away from that school building, especially with all those shinigami bastards are situated," Ned supplied the information, not wanting to endure the Leader's wrath once again, not seeing the black cat.

Katia helped Urahara, Katniss and the others at the shop, glad that she could be of help to Urahara and his customers. She was surprised about the amount of shinigami that came here to shop, and even though she was a little afraid of them, she had Urahara's promise that nothing would happen to her while she was working.

Yoruichi was in a tree when she saw the two talking and heard what they said. She jumped down and hurried back to the shop knowing that Kisuke would want to know. She made a point to stay high up just in case those two noticed her.

Melinda thought she saw a cat run off but didn't think anything of it. She still didn't believe anyone could turn into a cat. " Where would you like me to start first? Don't ask me to look at that one house. That Shinigami bastard has one powerful barrier up. I still don't understand how Katia could get through it. " She said.

"I don't get it either Mel," he said. "The only other place I can think of is that shop, but with that shinigami bastard who owns the shop, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a barrier up as well, but that's the only thing I can think of. Well...there is another way I can think of..." he added, peaking his partner's interest.

" What are you thinking ?" Melinda asked interested. She wondered what her partner had in mind.


Urahara saw Yoruichi rush into the shop as he finished the last of the devices. He would have to send a message that they were done. " What's wrong?" He said to Yoruichi , having a feeling something was up.

"We still have our Hollow Bait, right?" Ned asked.

" Right. Think we should use it to draw the Shinigami out so we can complete our mission?" Melinda said with a smirk. She was looking forward to this.

"That was the idea..." Ned said with a small grin. "Plus, we get two more Bankais while we're at it."

" Sounds good to me. We should wait till later. The more tired the Shinigami are the better. " Melinda said.

"That's a good point Mel," Ned replied.

Ichigo sighed lightly, glad that it was finally lunch time, wondering what Hoshi wanted to say this morning.

" How about we get some food and look around a bit. "Melinda said feeling hungry.


Hoshi grabbed her lunch and headed to the roof. She had a feeling that something was going to happen today. She sat down and waited for everyone to arrive.

Ned was starting to get hungry himself so decided on agreeing with her. He had to admit that it was easier working with Melinda than it was working with Katia.

Ichigo made his way up the stairs to the roof, the others soon behind him.

" I hope the food is good in this town. I was sent to Denver and the food was terrible. I hate it that none of the American Quincy want to help us. Glad my family is from Canada. " Melinda said as they walked.

Hoshi was glad everyone had arrived and she told them about the dream. She hoped they would help keep Katia safe.

"I know what you mean. I'm actually one of the few American Quincies that want to help, believe it or not," Ned said as he also hoped they could find somewhere with good food.

"I'll definitely help Hoshi-chan," Tatsuki said.

"Do you really have to ask Star-chan?" Ichigo asked as he also agreed to help, knowing that Chad would also help since he was going to help in the fighting.

( sorry about taking a while. My cat stepped on the button for my wireless router and I had to reset it. )

" How about this place. It looks to be busy and from what I've learned from travel shows, that's a good thing. " Melinda said. She did admit she liked some shows from this world.

" Thank you all." Hoshi said. She didn't want to lose Katia to the Vandenriech knowing she would never see her cousin again.

"Sounds good to me," Ned said as he followed Melinda inside

"Don't mention it Hoshi-chan, we're friends," Tatsuki said as the others nodded.

"Plus I want to get some payback on those Vandenreich members," Ishida spoke up. "and Katia's family," he added.

Hoshi nodded in agreement. She hated it that the Vandenreich had killed her Uncle Sam and Aunt Anya just because they had wanted Katia. She would fight her hardest to defeat those who hurt those she cared about.

"I overheard two vandenreich members looking for Katia," Yoruichi said. "And, they're both going to be using Hollow bait to draw Katia out...and most likely Hoshi as well," the ex-royal said.

" This isn't good. I'll let Ichigo and the others know about this. I'm going to head over to the school when it lets out to give them the devices. I probably should let Tetsu know also. " Urahara said. He was already going to meet Tetsu and Isshin and give them each a device. He wasn't going the Vandenreich have the upper hand.

"And while you're doing that, I'll keep an eye on the shop," Yoruichi said, the real meaning being that she would make sure that Katia stayed safe.

Alright. I shouldn't be too long. " Urahara said waving goodbye and heading out. He knew those two Vandenreich wouldn't stand a chance against three captain level Shinigami. He hurried toward the restaurant where he was meeting Isshin and Tetsu.


Tetsu arrived at the restaurant and waved when he saw Isshin. He was glad to see his friend but knew this meeting would be a serious one.

"You feel that?" Ned asked as he looked around the restaurant, trying to spot where the high amount of reiatsu was coming from. He knew that it was at least captain level, but didn't know where it was coming from. He assumed that it was the three that lived here in town but didn't know where they were. After he had that information, then he would best secure a way out of the restaurant without making a scene or being found out.

" I do. " Melinda said in a whisper. " Maybe one of them is here for a meeting or something. I remember reading one of them was an engineer, one was a doctor and the other a shop owner. What's the chance that the three of them knowing each other?" she said.

" Glad to see you both here. " Urahara said when he arrived. He could sense something off here and hoped it wasn't the Vandenreich. If it was they would have to somehow capture them.

"Very low, but it's still a possibility," Ned whispered back, not liking the fact that all three of them could be here at the same time. "If they are here, they'll want to try and capture us," he replied.

" Not if we leave first. We could always request our food to be takeout. "Melinda suggested. She didn't want to do that since she hardly ever had the chance to eat in a restaurant.

"That might be a good idea," Ned said in agreement.
