"Ready," Ned said as he also held his hollow bait in his hand. "On 3?" he asked.

"If you're sure you can take them, then I'll let you fight, but Katia-chan, remember to keep an eye on your surroundings," Yoruichi said.

" On three." Melinda said with a grin.

"I promise to." Katia said. She knew she couldn't allow herself to get distracted by what her former teamates would throw at her .

Ned counted to three before breaking the pill he had in his hand, the bait moving into the air, as he saw Melinda's bait also breaking into the air. "And now we wait," he said.

Ichigo saw several Hollows starting to appear within a few seconds of each other, scowling as he realized what this was. "Ishida, is this...?" he started to ask as the Quincy nodded, causing Ichigo to curse.

Hoshi hoped Katia was alright.She had a feeling today was the day her dream had taken place.

" Want to fight some Shinigami first?" Melinda asked. She wanted a good fight.

Ned answered Melinda's question by drawing his bow. "Split up or together?" He asked as he sensed two groups of shinigami.

" Split up. Which group do you want. I sense captain level Shinigami and at least three or four Quincy out there. " Melinda said. She sensed humans out there too but she wasn't concerned about them.


Saya stayed close to Ishida and used one of the new techniques she had learned over the weekend.

Katniss sensed the hollows around the house and growled lightly, knowing that Hollow Bait was used, but also sensed two people that she didn't recognize. 'two Vandenreich members?' she thought to herself. After a few seconds of debating where to go, she headed towards where she sensed the Vandenreich members, drawing her Hollow mask down as she made her ways towards them.

"Alright then, I'll take the group that has more Quincies," Ned said.

Ishida saw the piercing arrows strike through several Hollows before splitting into smaller barb-like arrows and whistled lightly at the new technique before he fired more arrows of his own. He had promised Saya's aunt before she had left that he would take care of Saya when she wasn't around.

"I'll take the Shinigami that's closest" Melinda said heading in that direction.


Hoshi fought off the hollows and could sense Katia close by. She gave it more power knowing she had to keep her cousin safe.

Katniss saw the male heading off towards the old man's shop. Remembering what she overheard of the vision that Hoshi had, Katia quickly rushed after him, not wanting someone else to go through the same pain that she did.

Hoshi could sense Katniss and was glad that she was close by. She could sense her dad and one other that seemed familiar that she couldn't place. She brought down her blade on another mask and dodged a tail of another.

Rukia was battling Hollows ever since she got back to Karakura Town after hearing about the attack. She owed it to Ichigo, especially since he rescued her in the past...even if she didn't want to be saved back then. Ducking backwards, she sensed a Hollow's tail coming towards her and unsheathed Sode no Shirayuki, instantly making it go into it's shikai form.

Ichigo sensed someone coming closer towards them and dodged out of the way of a Hollow's claws, moving out of his body a few minutes ago. Kisuke had promised to keep his body safe, but sometimes he wished that he still kept Kon around, especially for moments like this. Easily taking care of the hollows that were around him, he saw that the others were doing just fine...at least for the moment.

Katia continued to fight the hollows and was using some of the techniques the Yoruichi had taught her. She wasn't going to be captured.

Yoruichi was taking out some Hollows of her own, opting to use her fighting skills instead of her blade at the moment. She momentarily checked on Katia to see that she was doing alright before her senses screamed at her to move. Doing what her instincts said, she backflipped as an arrow broke into the ground that she was standing on just a few minutes ago. "So you're the one that Hoshi had a vision of? I thought you'd be stronger Mr. Uncle," she said to the person who fired that arrow at her, before scowling since only a female showed up, a bow of spirit particles in her hand.

" You must be the one they call the goddess of flash. " Melinda said in a anger filled tone. She wasn't going to let any Shinigami beat her.

"And if I am?" Yoruichi asked with a smirk on her face. Her opponent was angry and an angry fighter was a sloppy fighter. She would, however, make sure not to underestimate her opponent though.

Melinda wasn't going to let her anger get the best of her and fired of many arrows.She had to get inside just in case that traitor Katia was inside.

Yoruichi dodged the arrows as they came towards her, using her shunpo to full effect. She had a feeling she would have to eventually draw her zanpakuto though.

Melinda shot a round of arrows that she knew would have to do. She had to get to Katia before anyone else did and tried to run off.

Yoruichi saw that her opponent was trying to stall her as she moved towards Katia's position. Blocking the arrows, she quickly flashed towards her charge.

Katia got ready for a fight when she sensed Melinda and was glad Yoruichi was close behind. She had to keep safe.

Ichigo had taken down several hollows before sensing a stronger Vandenreich presence coming towards them. Quickly drawing his mask down, he turned around and sliced an arrow in half, using his sword to block a punch that came towards him. "And just who the hell are you?" he asked as he stared at blonde-haired man in front of him, wearing a full white cloak.

"Kurosaki Ichigo...one of the few Shinigami who can keep their bankai. My brother has ordered your demise," was all that he said as he drew his bow once again. The words "my brother" clued Ichigo into who he was dealing with as one word ripped from the orange-haired boy's throat before getting into a stance.

"Uncle..."

Tetsu was glad to sense Ryuken was fighting with them as he swung the blade on a mask. He knew he had to get to Ichigo and try to use the capture seal that Kisuke had given him. They had to get these Vandenreich not wanting them to return to the rest of the ranks.

Ichigo dodged under the kick before being pushed back from a point blank arrow. "Gah. annoying bastard!" He exclaimed to himself out loud as he used a Getsuga to try and hit him, but just like before, Uncle dodged the technique.

Katniss felt the large amount of reiatsu in the distance and started heading towards that location, wondering what was going on over there.

Ishida rolled under another claw before quickly forming a single arrow and firing it straight into the Hollow's mask. "Saya-chan, behind you!" he shouted as he took out another Hollow.

Saya dodged and quickly turned around shooting the hollow behind her. She knew that some really strong hollow had been used to summon this many hollows. She knew they had to keep Hoshi and Katia safe.

Melinda sensed Uncle in the distance and unconsciously gulped. Even though she knew the man was on their side, he still scared the crap out of her.
