" I'm ready to start when you are. " Orihime said getting her hairpins from the lapel of her uniform.


" Ready to start?" Hoshi asked getting ready to use he amplifying ability.

Chadd nodded, signifying he was ready. He just hoped he didn't go to strong and break Orihime's shields.

"Just to make sure, what are you planning on doing Star?" Ichigo asked.

" I was thinking we could spar and I would use my amplifying ability to block the attacks. " Hoshi said remembering how she trained before.

Ichigo nodded, remembering how that worked before. "I'll start out with light attacks then progress, alright?" he asked.

" Alright. " Hoshi said and got ready to begin.

Katia finished and waited for the results of the tests. She still sensed some of the captains and would stay with Yoruichi until they left.

After they had all gotten the devices from Kisuke, Mayuri had wondered where he gotten the idea for the device had been and asked if he was harboring the Vandenreich child. After he asked this, both captain and his spirit growled at the man. "Mayuri...if you wish to remain in your facility as captain and the Gotei 13 to ignore some of your experiments, you will drop this," Toushiro said in an icy voice.

Hoshi was blocking the attacks that Ichigo gave her and kept focus on her Reiatsu level. She knew she was going to have to raise it past what she had been able to do in the past.

Ichigo made sure to keep an eye on his reiatsu, making sure not to go to overboard with his attacks.

Hoshi was having a hard time but knew if she gave up now she wouldn't master her ability. She didn't want to be weak against the Vandenreich.

Ichigo started to lightly step up the amount of reiatsu he was using in his Getsuga strikes and regular slashes, although he made a silent vow that a point blank Getsuga was saved only for his enemies, not for things such as this. As he saw that Hoshi was starting to have trouble keeping up, he asked if she wanted to stop.

" I'll be fine. I have a feeling I'm almost to where I should be." Hoshi said.

"Alright," Ichigo said, knowing that Hoshi would tell him when she had had enough

Hoshi could feel she was gaining more control over her ability but was feeling tired. " I'm ready to take a break. " She said.

(alright. I haven't read Bleach or Naruto yet, but I plan on doing so tomorrow during my lunch break. Either that or watch anime ^_^)

Ichigo nodded lightly as he swung his sword back into its resting place on his back. He was mildly surprised that Hoshi had been able to take that many Getsugas at a time, and he was surprised at himself at the fact that he could pull off such a feat, even if he started at low levels.

Chad smiled lightly as Orihime asked to take a break, glad that she was getting stronger. Only the last few of his attacks were able to crack the shield she used, having a feeling that that rarely, if at all, happened and was glad that he was also getting stronger.

Hoshi could feel that a few captains were still here but she knew she was safe here. Though she was a bit worried about Katia.

Tetsu could sense a few captains were still here in the living world but knew they were the ones he trusted. He parked in front of Urahara's after work to pick up Katia and meet with the captains. He hoped everything was alright.

Toushiro was glad when the other Captains had left, although he was still a little wary of Soi-fong still remaining here, although she said that she wanted to talk to her former mistress. Nodding at that, the smallest of the captains saw Tetsu as he headed into the shop. Heading towards the ex-captain, Toushiro wanted to warn the man about Mayuri and the trouble he could be, especially if Katia went to Soul society.

" Hello Captain. Is everything alright ?" Tetsu asked. He hoped Katia was alright not wanting anything bad to happen to his niece.

Toushiro sighed lightly as he explained what happened after everyone was given a device that Kisuke made. "It's my opinion, sir, that you don't let Katia out of your site for too long. I wouldn't put it past Mayuri-teme to acquire Katia by legal... or illegal methods," he said.

" I wouldn't either. As far as I know he can't get into the barrier I have up since only people I trust can enter. Though I don't put it past him to at least attempt. " Tetsu said. He wasn't going to let anyone hurt either Katia or Hoshi.

Toushiro nodded at the information, silently vowing not to let either female be captured: either by the Vandenreich or his colleagues.

" Captain, are the rumors of the Zero Squad possibly true? From what I was told that battle in Soul Society might bring them there?" Tetsu asked. Urahara had told him that it was possible and wouldn't be surprised if they did.

"The rumors are true when it comes to the Zero Squad," Toushiro said seriously.

Tetsu wasn't sure if he should be worried or not with this news. "Have they arrived yet or will it be a while. " He wanted to be ready in case they wanted to speak with him.

"They haven't arrived yet, but I think they'll be here soon. Why do you ask?" Toushiro asked, curious.

" Just wondering really. One of my family members was promoted to Zero Squad when I was a boy. I'm not sure if he would be one of the members sent. " Tetsu said.
