Toushiro nodded before taking his leave. He would have wanted to visit Hoshi, but knew that he didn't have the time. Creating a portal, he went back to Soul Society. He would admit though that he would pay to see what Ichigo's reaction would be when he heard that his mother was a Quincy.

Urahara called Isshin and hoped this conversation went well. He knew this wasn't going to be easy for his friend to talk about. He knew that the hardest things to talk about were often the important things that needed to be known before it was too late.

Isshin picked up the ringing phone, wondering who was calling him, especially since it was the personal phone and not the clinics. "Hello?" he asked.

"Hello Isshin. I hate to bother you like this, but we need to talk. I was told Ichigo had gained strength today during training. We both know what that means. " Urahara said. He wasn't sure how this was going to go , since they hadn't ever thought this would happen.

Isshin sighed lightly as he listened to Kisuke over the phone. "He's going to have to learn about his mother...and the true reason why I left Soul Society, isn't he?"

" He is. But it's better if it comes from you instead of the Vandenreich. I don't want them to blackmail him with that information. " Urahara said. He knew Soul Society didn't know the real reason why Isshin had left and he wasn't considered a threat by them for being here in the Living World. " Would you like to use the shop to tell Ichigo? Just in case you need a secure place?" Urahara asked. As far as he knew , Karin and Yuzu didn't know either and wanted both girls to be safe in case the Vandenriech would use them against Ichigo.

"I know, and I have a feeling he's gonna want to kick my ass as well, especially since I've kept this from him for so long. I still haven't told him about knowing about Kon and the fact I killed Grand Fisher," Isshin replied as he moved his hand through his hair. "The store should be a good place to tell him everything although I'm not sure if I should let him tell his friends about it or not..." he said.

He wouldn't lie when he said that he was worried for his two girls as well when he heard news about the Vandenreich, but he knew how to fight them without his Bankai. Before they were graced with the miracle they named Ichigo, he and Misaki constantly sparred with each other, just in case.

" That's to be expected. You did train him well. " Urahara chuckled. " I don't know how he'll react to Kon and how you killed Grand Fisher but he'll understand in his own way. They'll find out eventually. It's up to you if you want Ichigo to tell them. I know they won't judge him because of it. " Urahara said. " Would you like me to message him to be here in 40 minutes?" He added. He was glad that Isshin had his Shinigami powers back thanks to Tetsu but knew his friend could fight without them if needed.

Isshin chuckled lightly, "That I did," he said. "I'll let Ichigo make the decision to tell his friends or not, but I'm pretty sure you're right about them not making a big deal about it though," he added saying that forty minutes would be enough time for him to get there.

" Alright. I'll get things ready for when you both arrive." Urahara said before they said their goodbyes. He then sent a text to Ichigo's phone to be here in 40 minutes. He said that something very important had come up and that he needed to be at the shop to discuss the matter. He liked being vague sometimes knowing it was the best way to get someone's attention. Urahara also hoped that he would have the chance to tell Yoruichi tonight how he did feel. He knew that he had waited to long to say something.

"Thanks Kisuke," Isshin said before saying his good byes and hanging up the phone. Writing a note so that Karin or Yuzu would see it, telling them to stay in the house until he got back. He then locked up both the house and the clinic, putting a sign up that said he was out on important business as he headed towards Kisuke's shop.

Tatsuki saw Ichigo open his phone and read a text message. "Ichigo?" She asked, wondering what was bothering him after reading the message.

Hoshi wondered what was bothering Ichigo when he read the message on his phone, but didn't say anything. " See you guys tomorrow. " She said looking forward to the days off. She wanted to work on getting stronger so she could fight the Vandenreich. She had a feeling something was going to change , but didn't know if it was a good thing or not.

"See you guys tomorrow," Ichigo replied nonchalantly, his mind not actively there like it had been a few seconds ago. Sensing Tatsuki behind him, he allowed the martial artist to follow him, knowing that no harm would happen because of it.

Urahara sensed Yoruichi and smiled a bit. He was glad his long time friend had safely come back. He had a thought that Tatsuki might be with Ichigo when he arrived. He should have said that Ichigo come alone but knew it would have sounded even more suspicious. He would have Tatsuki talk with Katniss about training tomorrow. He knew it would Katniss some good to spend time with others instead of staying in the shop during the days she didn't patrol. He finalized the preparations for the room Isshin and Ichigo would be in, having sound proofed it for privacy and possible fighting.

Yoruichi stretched as she headed inside the shop, glad to be back.

Isshin had appeared at the shop and saw Yoruichi enter the shop. He shook his head lightly, wondering when Kisuke would finally stop being an idiot and ask the ex-captain of the female gender out already before heading into the shop himself.

Ichigo and Tatsuki had entered the shop, Tatsuki worried about Ichigo.

" Glad to see you all are here safely. Isshin, Ichigo you are in the room on the left. Tatsuki could you ask Katniss if she would like to join you and the others tomorrow for training." Urahara said and gave Yoruichi a smile. He hoped that everything would work out between Ichigo and Isshin, knowing this would be hard for the both of them.

Yoruichi returned the smile with one of her own, although she also raised an eyebrow, wondering what he was up to. Once the others left, she would ask the scientist just what he was doing.

Tatsuki was a little skeptical about this and raised an eyebrow of her own. Although if Ichigo wasn't questioning this, then maybe she shouldn't either. Sending a glance over to Ichigo, he just motioned her to go, knowing that he could take care of himself. 'Something isn't right here...' she thought to herself as she knocked on the door of what she assumed was Katniss's room.

Seeing Tatsuki raise an eyebrow at the situation, Ichigo told her that he would be fine. "Besides, this is Kisuke we're talking about. He hasn't steered me wrong...most of the time. And if he has, he explained it afterwards so that I couldn't kick his ass. Get going Ryu-chan, I'll be fine," he said as he shooed her along before going into the room that Kisuke told him to go into, wondering just what this was all about...

Katniss had been relaxing a bit and had been started by the knock on the door. She was surprised to see Ichigo's friend Tatsuki at the door. Come in." She said and moved aside trying to be friendly. She wanted to be able to work with the others during this fight. She had been getting better, but it still was hard.

Urahara closed the door behind him once Ichigo and Isshin had entered the room. He wanted to be here to since he known about this too." Ichigo there's something about you that you need to know.Your father and I had been talking about this earlier and we agreed that you should know this important information." Urahara said solemnly. He felt equally responsible for keeping the truth about Misaki from Ichigo. He knew that Aizen had known too about Ichigo being part Quincy and wondered if that was the reason he had sent Grand Fisher that same night the Vandenreich had killed his mother.

"Thanks," Tatsuki said, unsure of where to start with the shinigami archer. She knew that like Ichigo she had the powers of a Hollow, but other than that, there wasn't all that much to do or talk about. Kisuke had suggested asking her if she wanted to join them for training. Then the most bizarre thing happened. Before Tatsuki could stop her mouth from talking, she asked what she thought about Ichigo, and her relationship with him.

Ichigo saw his dad was here as well and was about to question what he was doing here before Kisuke started speaking. "What type of information are you talking about Kisuke?" Ichigo asked, quite curious. If this was something that both his father and Kisuke knew, then he knew that it was quite important, and as such, was giving both older shinigami his full attention.

"He's just a friend." Katniss said feeling a bit surprised at the question."He get's on my nerves when he calls me Catnip and reminds me of a friend I once had." Katniss said thinking of Gale and how her Zanpaktou spirit seemed to look and act just like he use to.

It's about your mom." Urahara said and looked at Isshin to finish,

Isshin took a deep breath knowing that now was the time." Your mom was a Quincy Ichigo, and one of the reasons I left Soul Society. " He said. Aizen was part of the reason that he had left too, since it was him who had sent those hollows that day.

Tatsuki chuckled lightly at that. "Yeah, he gets on my nerves as well, it's why Hoshi and I call him Strawberry, especially since it gets on his nerves, even if he doesn't show it as much as he used to," Tatsuki said, a smile on her face as she remembered happier times. "Um...if you don't mind me asking, can I ask about your friend?"

"Mom was a Quincy?" Ichigo asked, biting back the first retort that he had for both males in the room, telling him where he could go stick the stupid comment, but seeing the looks on their faces, he knew that this was true. Taking a breath after asking that question, he asked another one. "Why did you keep this away from me for so long? From Karin and Yuzu?" He asked, now realizing why some of the Hollows had tried attacking both Karin and Yuzu.

" Sure. What would you like to know about Gale?" Katniss said. She grinned a little at the nickname Ichigo had.

" She was. We kept it from you and your sisters to keep you safe. We feared that the Vandenreich would capture you once you had started to train. I'm sorry that I kept this from you kids. That night your mother died was an attempt by them to get to you." Isshin said taking a deep breath.He was glad this was going better than he had planned . He and Misaki had been discussing shortly before then to start training Ichigo to use his powers.He knew Karin and Yuzu could both see ghosts and wondered if they could have powers of their own.

"You probably want to know how Grand Fisher fits into all this too. He happened to been sent as a distraction for your mom to fight while the Vandenreich captured you." Urahara said remembering the information that he had gotten about that night from the documents recovered after Aizen had been imprisoned.

"Anything you want to tell me," Tatsuki replied, glad that she could give a fellow female some ammunition against Ichigo when it came to nicknames. Then again, she wasn't one to talk much, especially since her Zanpakuto spirit was that of a Dragon Knight.

"So all these years...you've both let me think that it was because of my stupidity and high spiritual awareness that got mom killed," Ichigo started to say. "Instead I find out that Grand Fisher was just a lure for mom while the bastards that we're fighting today would kidnap and brainwash me like they've done to Katia-chan. What about Karin and Yuzu? I know Yuzu can't see spirits like we can, but I know Karin is, or at least she's starting to." He said, remembering the conversation he had with his little sister a year and a half ago.

" Gale was a good friend. He called me Catnip because I hadn't spoken loud enough the day we met. He let me be myself when we were together.Gale was a couple of years older than me. He taught me a lot of things. " Katniss said. She wished she hadn't failed and died , knowing her death had meant she had failed the ones she cared about.


" We're sorry we let you think that. You were young and both me and your father debated on telling you about being a Quincy. But we both eventually decided that it would be best for you to ask questions on why you could see spirits. Trust me I was surprised when you didn't and had unlocked your Shinigami powers instead years later. " Urahara said he hadn't expected the events of almost two years ago to happen the way they did but he was glad that they had.

" Kisuke is right about that. I'm glad you did become a Shinigami and stopped Aizen.I can sense high spiritual pressure from Karin and know both of your sisters can sense them. Both of them have been really tense lately and think it because of the Vandenreichs increased activity in the last few weeks. There is a possibly that Karin might have powers of her own. " Isshin said. " Please forgive us for keeping this from you. I didn't want to lose you or the girls like I did your mother. " He said and wiped his eyes. He knew he hadn't been the best father to his children and hoped they didn't resent them for that.

Tatsuki listened to Katniss as she talked about her friend Gale, knowing that it must have been hard for her once she realized that she died. "It sounds as if you had a crush on him," She said. Then again, with the way that Katniss was talking about Gale, it was easy to see.

Ichigo sighed for a few seconds before taking a breath. "It was mostly because of Rukia-chan that I got my shinigami powers in the first place. It was only because of...Byakuya," which sounded like poison coming from Ichigo's mouth, "who stripped me of that power in the first place." He added on. Thinking for a few seconds, he knew that he was going to forgive the two. "Cut the waterworks old man. I'll forgive you both...but you have to promise me one thing: See if Karin or Yuzu have come into their powers, and if so, train them."
