Ichigo looked out the window as he sensed his father and a female that he thought was Naomi, but wasn't sure since it had been a while since he felt her reiatsu.

"I'm sure that something will happen, i just hope it isn't at the cost of Yuzu-chan or one of her friends," isshin replied as he unlocked the front door, chuckled lightly at what she said about the clinic.

" For me, it was just a low level hollow that got too close to me and dad told me what to do. I had never seen him that scared before , and I know he was afraid I could have been hurt badly if I hadn't fired that arrow. " Naomi said solemnly as she went inside. Naomi promised herself to keep Yuzu-chan safe knowing that both her cousins attracted hollows. She had always liked this place and smiled sadly at the poster of her Aunt Misaki. Her mom had given that to her uncle after the memorial they had. " I hope I can find a small apartment here in town. I have a interview at Karakura General after lunch and it sounds very promising. " She said hoping to lighten the mood a little bit. " I got a message before my train came and I returned it before it did arrive." She added with a smile as she thought she sensed Ichigo getting closer.

Ichigo headed downstairs, knowing that his father and cousin, or who he assumed was his cousin, enter. Grabbing his shinigami badge just in case, he placed it in his pocket as he headed downstairs. As he was heading downstairs, he wondered how well she remembered him, then again, he barely remembered her after all.

"Naomi-chan?" he asked once he appeared in the living room. Seeing her turn around, he was surprised to see how beautiful she had become.

" Ichi-chan? You've definitely grown up. Don't think I can forget you so easily. " Naomi said seeing how handsome he looked and grinned. She rushed over and gave him a big hug. "I've missed you all so much. " She said meaning what she said.

Ichigo returned the hug, glad that she still remembered him, and that she missed them all. "Don't let Star or Ryu hear you call me that. I'll never hear the end of it," he mumbled, getting a small laugh out of the girl. "So what brings you all the way out here Nao-chan?" he asked. He remembered that he could never pronounce her full name when he was younger and hoped she wouldn't mind him still using it, even after all this time.

" I won't. I'm here for a couple of reasons. Your dad told me that you got stronger yesterday and that you now know about being a Quincy. I just wanted to see how you are dealing with that information." Naomi said knowing that finding out about ones powers sometimes could be hard to deal with. "Though I admit I already had planned to see you guys. I just finished my exams and officially graduate college on Sunday. Everyone is going to be there and I know they want to see you." Naomi said taking a breath before telling him she knew he was a Shinigami.

" I do know you are a Shinigami Ichigo. I had been in Karakura with some friends when it had been sent to Soul Soicety. I had woken up while everyone else was asleep and was terrified. I asked your dad about what had happened , since dad and grandpa were terrified that I had gone missing for those couple days. Your dad told me about the events that had led up to then and said it was alright to tell everyone else. I was surprised that mostly everyone was quite accepting of you being a Shinigami. Dai-chan was slightly jealous I think, but that's just my little brother being himself. " Naomi said with a small grin." Dad was happy that you were able to defend yourself if needed , since basically that's one of the core values of being a Quincy. Grandma , I think was slightly disappointed , but for the most part she was accepting. I think grandpa accepts you as a Shinigami , but I don't know for sure. He doesn't say much anyway. He does know that you are coming into your Quincy powers, and grandma says he's preparing. I have the feeling he wants to train you himself, since he's troubled greatly that the Vandenreich are back. " Naomi said and blushed a little since she was happy to finally see Ichigo again. She knew he needed to know his family accepted him for who he was.

"I will admit that I was a little angry at both Kisuke-san and dad for keeping this type of information away from me and my sisters for long at first, but after they explained their reasons, I understood why they did what they did. I'm still a little upset at them, but I've moved past it," Ichigo responded, knowing that Naomi would want to know how he was coping with the new information that not only was he a shinigami, but also a Quincy. It also explained why he had such an irregularly high amount of spirit energy while still being amongst the living, something that he always secretly wondered about.

"Ren-Jiji would want to train me?" Ichigo asked in surprise after chuckling about her younger brother. He didn't remember him all that well though, but figured he would most likely be reintroduced to everyone at Naomi's graduation, or the party that followed it. He was glad that everyone had accepted him being a shinigami, especially since he knew the century old feud between Quincies and Shinigami, no thanks to his Quincy friend Ishida, but that was water under the bridge for the two friends. 'So I guess protecting my Nakama is a trait that passed down to me from mom,' he thought to himself with a small smile.

Naomi was glad that Ichigo was coping well with the news, knowing how hard it was for her to accept at first. " I think he would. He wants you to be ready for anything they might do during a battle. He wants me to keep an eye on Karin and Yuzu if they develop powers. Uncle says that Karin-chan is close to dicovering her powers and all she needs is a push. I'm willing to help her once she does." Naomi said and sensed the girls getting closer. She was looking forward to seeing them again." So Ichigo tell me about your friends. Is Ryu-chan still here?" Naomi asked, She knew Hoshi had moved away, but it sounded like his other best friend was back.

"Ryu-chan never left town, and Star-chan is back in town now also," Ichigo said with a small smile on his face, glad that he had both of his best friends with him once again. "Although I've met a few interesting people also..." He said as he told her about the gentle giant Sado that he called Chad, and the sweet girl Orihime that Tatsuki befriended. He also told her about Ishida, unsure if she wanted to hear about his Shinigami friends just yet.

"Speaking of my sisters, I made dad promise to eventually tell Karin-chan and Yuzu-chan about mom, if/when they come into their powers, if they come into them at all," He said, although he was glad that Naomi was here as well to help if they did awaken their powers after all, agreeing with Naomi's statement about Karin. He just wondered what type of powers she would have: Shinigami, Quincy, or both. Sensing his sisters come in, he smirked lightly, glad that they were home safe. What? He was an older brother after all.

Naomi was glad Ichigo had friends and wondered if he had others that he didn't mention. She understood, having the feeling he had some friends who were Shinigami.She was glad that Ichigo had made her uncle promise to tell the girls when they did get their powers, knowing that it was better if a parent was the one to tell the child about being a Quincy. Naomi smiled when she saw both Karin and Yuzu, seeing how much they had grown since she had last seen them. She introduced herself since they looked a bit puzzled on who she was.

Karin saw the female as she entered the house, her younger sister two steps behind her. "Aniki, who is she?" Karin asked, subtly moving in front of Yuzu. Ever since she had been able to see spirits, she had been keeping an eye on her sister as well as Ichi-ni-san.

" I'm your cousin Naomi. You probably don't remember me since you both were very young when I saw you two last." Naomi said and could sense how strong Karin was. Naomi noticed that Yuzu wasn't as strong, but still had enough spiritual pressure to attract a hollow. She hoped she could teach Yuzu to suppress it enough to keep the hollows away. She had taught Satoshi how to suppress his since he had been targeted by a hollow when they were teens.

"She's telling the truth Imouto," Ichigo added on, although he did notice how quickly Karin had moved in front of Yuzu in order to protect her.

Naomi knew Karin was just trying to protect her younger sister." I have pictures of you both when you were little. " Naomi said and got the small photo book out of her bag. Naomi hoped to calm Karin's fears remembering that when she was Karin's age ,she was terrified of new people who had spiritual pressure. She new that Karin was closer than she had thought to getting her powers and hoped that her young cousins would be safe.

"Really?" Karin asked, wondering just what type of photos this Naomi person had of them.

" Here's one of your mom holding you Karin and your Grandpa Ren holding you Yuzu. This one was taken a few days after you both were born." Naomi said handing them the photo. She was glad her grandma had given her these photos. "Here's another one with you both with grandma Eriko. Ichigo is there two sitting with your grandpa." She said and handed them this photo.

Ichigo looked at the pictures as well as his sisters did, not remembering when those photos were taken. He noticed that his father was grinning lightly, most likely because his family was interacting with their cousin so well.

Naomi pointed out her dad and mom in some of the photos as well as her younger brother."Would you two like to see everyone this weekend. They will be in the area and I know they all would love to see you. Grandma says she'll make her candied ginger since she knows that everyone likes it." Naomi said glad that the girls were accepting her.

"I think that's a good idea actually," Ichigo said, remembering her candied ginger. She usually made it around the holidays, but had a feeling the special occasion warranted the special treat as well.

" Mom's also going to make her special apple and sweet potato cake. She only makes it occasionally but since it is a special occasion she'll make it. " Naomi said, glad that her family would finally be together again. She knew they all needed some happiness during this dark time.

"That sounds good," Yuzu said, wondering how it would taste.

" It is good. " Naomi said and tensed up a little. She thought she sensed a Shinigami close by and hoped it was someone Ichigo knew. She hated being tense around Shinigami knowing she wanted to fight with them against the Vandenreich.Naomi wasn't tense around her Uncle Isshin or Ichigo knowing they wouldn't hurt her.

Knowing that Tatsuki was going to help her tomorrow night, Katniss was doing a light patrol around the town. Sensing an unknown Quincy presence in the Kurosaki clinic, red flags were flaring in her mind. Setting down next to the place, she drew her blade.

Ichigo sensed Katniss coming towards the clinic, most likely because of Naomi. Seeing said person tense up, if only for a second, Ichigo sighed lightly and excused himself from the scene, saying that he would be right back as he exited his home. "Catnip, come out please," he said.

Katniss came out when she heard Ichigo. " You do know there is possibly an enemy close by. " She said. She didn't think this Quincy was a Vandenreich, but wanted to make sure in case of an attack.

"I've only sensed one Quincy around here, and that's my cousin Naomi," Ichigo said. "You have nothing to worry about Catnip, although I thank you for the concern" he said with a smirk.
