"Sure thing," Ishida said as he got the requested items out of the fridge. Closing the door behind him with a soft push from his elbow, he placed the two on the counter besides Saya. "It seems like your grandmother is a good cook," he said, noticing that the bread was homemade. He had taught himself some recipes, especially since it was just him and his dad, and his dad wasn't home all that much thanks to his job as head of the hospital.

"I can get a few members of my squad to help out, and I'm sure Soi-fong will be willing to help as well," Toushiro said. "And you can meet my lieutenant as well, though I will warn you, she's somewhat of a ditz," he said in explanation. She could still fight and he knew that, but sometimes she got on his nerves way too much. Scowling once he saw Ichigo chuckle lightly, a thought came to mind. "You know, I could always ask your girlfriend if she wants to help as well, assuming I can get her away from her lieutenant duties," he said, knowing that she would probably drop everything in order to help Ichigo and his sisters, especially if they were at risk to being attacked.

Ichigo scowled lightly as Toushiro teased him about Rukia before asking if his girlfriend from the fifth division was going to be asked as well. He would admit that he didn't like hearing about the true goals for the Vandenreich and hoped that there was something he could do to take them down. "I dare them to try and attack my sisters," he said with conviction. If they wanted to hurt Yuzu or kidnap Karin then it would be over his dead body...and glad to hear that Hichigo also agreed with that statement.

" She is. She's been teaching me a little. Aunt Meg is a good cook as well. She hopes she has more time now that she's working for your dad's hospital. The last place she worked at didn't give her much time to herself " Saya said as she sliced the bread and put it on plates. " What would you like to drink? There is juice in the cupboard or I could boil some water for tea. " Saya offered.

Naomi giggled a little bit and then calmed down. " I think me and your lieutenant will get along. Does she like shopping?" Naomi asked, knowing if she got the job today she would need a few more skirts and shirts to wear. She smiled at Ichigo's determination to keep his friends and family safe ,and would do her part too. " Thank you so much Captain Hitsugaya. Is it alright if I tell my family? I don't want them to be caught off guard when they sense Shinigami. " Naomi said know it wouldn't end well if she didn't. She knew her mom was uncomfortable when she sensed Shinigami around and wondered if her mom had a fear of Shinigami too. Naomi resolved to help her mom, knowing her dad would probably want to help the Shinigami, now that family was involved.

" You can tell them Naomi-chan. I know you want things to go well while they are here this weekend and I congratulate you on your graduation on Sunday. I know you will be a great doctor like your Uncle Isshin is. " He said and saw the young girl blush a little. He had a feeling Hinamori-San would be glad to see Tetsu again and was glad he had been able to help her a little with the betrayal she had felt after Aizen. He knew there was a lot of healing that everyone still needed to do after those events, but they seemed to be making progress.

"I didn't know that Saya-chan, it's good to hear that she's working for my dad. He's usually good about people taking time off though, or work around people and their schedules," Ishida said, knowing that his dad was well liked by most, if not all, employees there. "Tea would be fine," Ishida responded.

"She does enjoy shopping, and usually drags me along with her," Toushiro admitted after saying it wasn't a big deal. "I was also going to say that it was okay for you to tell your family members about the shinigami there, although I think you should also tell them that it's shinigami that Kurosaki trusts," he added on, having a feeling that would help go a long ways. "Is there anything else that needs discussing?" he asked.

" That's why she took the job that was offered. I'm glad she's closer and that we both can be with grandma." Saya said as she started the water for the tea. She then out mayo and mustard on the slices of bread and began to make the sandwiches. She hoped she could help fight,wanting the Vandenreich to pay for what they did to her family.

Naomi laughed. " Sounds like me when I drag my boyfriend or my brother along. I'll tell my family that. I know that will mean a lot to my family that they are people Ichigo trusts." Naomi said with a smile.She hoped she would have the chance to meet some of the Shinigami while they were here. She knew her grandpa would be happy that she was able to overcome her deep fear of Shinigami,but knew a little bit of caution wouldn't hurt.

" I think that's it until Ren gets here on Saturday." Urahara said knowing the information his friend had would be a big help. He saw the curious look Yoruichi had, and would tell her how he had met Ren. He liked how she was as curious as the cat she was.

(My new bed is way too comfy...)

"I see," Ishida said as he saw Saya finish making the sandwiches, glad that there were others like him who had wanted to fight.

Ichigo chuckled as well, knowing the same feeling. "Your brother and boyfriend do it because they love you Nam-chan. I do it for my sisters as well," he said with a small grin on his face. "Did you want to meet some of them? I'll be there just in case," he quickly added in. Even though her fear was somewhat abated, it wouldn't hurt for him to be there just in case, knowing that a fear could sneak up on someone when they least expected it.

"I should take my leave then. Soul Society knows what that woman is doing, or not doing, when I'm not there to supervise her," Toushiro muttered, causing Ichigo to laugh. "I'll see you guys Saturday?" He asked, making sure he had the day right.

(That's a good thing right?)

Saya took the steaming pot off the stove and put it on a pot holder on the kitchen table. " I hope it's okay if we eat in here. Grandma likes to eat breakfast and lunch in the kitchen and dinner at the main table. " Saya explained and smiled when she saw her grandma enter.

" I would like to meet them. It probably would be a good idea if you were there. I promise to not pick on you when we do. Though I should warn you, just because I won't tease you and embarrass you , doesn't mean grandma will do the same. She feels it is her right as a grandmother to do so. " Naomi said with a laugh.

" Yep on Saturday. I have a feeling Eriko-san will be sending Ren with cookies as an apology for her not being with her husband. I have a feeling she'll want to make up for lost time with Ichigo and his sisters. " Urahara said with a smile.

(It is, for now.)

"That's fine," Ishida responded, smiling lightly towards Saya's grandmother before taking a bite of his sandwich. 'I wonder what the others are up to,' he thought to himself before mentally shrugging.

"Oh joy," Ichigo deadpanned, causing some of the people there to laugh lightly. He may not like it, but Naomi did have a point, and he supposed that he could deal with it.

"Alright then," Toushiro replied. He wasn't surprised that Ichigo's grandmother would want to catch up with Ichigo and his younger sisters, especially since they've been gone for so long. "And I'll let Ichigo's friends in the eleventh and fourth, sixth and thirteenth divisions know about Naomi's graduation. Yoruichi-sama, do you want me to let Soi-Fong know as well?" He asked.

" Lunch is good you too. " Kyoko said as she ate. " Saya knows this information Ishida-San, but I feel you should know it too. Saya isn't the only one in this family who has been one of the Keys. " She said knowing this had to be said.

Ready for some lunch Katia-chan?" Hoshi asked. They had moved a few things hoping her room and would wait for her dad to move the bed in for Katia. Hoshi was happy her cousin was sleeping in the same room as she was. It helped them both deal with their visions.

" That would be nice Shiro-chan. " Yoruichi said with a smile. She knew she could get away with calling the young captain that. Yoruichi wondered what her little bee would think about her dating Kisuke.

" She teases because she loves you. She teases me and Dai-chan all the time. Even dad isn't exempt from it. " Naomi said with a giggle. She was looking forward to everyone being together again as a family. She also was looking forward to making some knew friends and building new alliances knowing it was important to build up trusting relationships.

"Thank you, although it was Saya-chan who made it, I only helped," Ishida responded to the compliment before taking a bite of his own sandwich. After swallowing the bite, he was hit with the news of the fact that there were other members who had been keys in the past. He was quite glad he swallowed otherwise he'd be either choking on it, or spitting it out. "What do you mean?" He asked.

Katia responded by nodding her head in a positive manner, a little on the hungry side after all of the moving that they had done during the day. All they had to do now was to wait for Uncle Tetsu to return home so that they could move the bedding and frame. "Um...Hoshi? I know I should have asked this earlier, but are you okay with me moving into the same room as you?" she asked.

"Don't call me that," Toushiro instantly replied out of habit. "And don't even think of calling me that Kurosaki, or else," he said instantly turning towards Ichigo and threatening him. This only caused the orange-haired substitute shinigami to laugh, causing a scowl to form on the captain's face. "I'll let Soi-fong know that you request her assistance then Yoruichi-sama," Toushiro said before creating a portal to Soul Society and heading through it. He had to give a report on what was happening and everything else as well.

"I wasn't planning on calling you that Toushiro," Ichigo replied with a small smirk on his face, although he did file it away later for blackmail purposes. "If you say so Nam-chan. It's probably the only reason that I'll let it happen," he replied to Naomi, knowing that his grandmother had missed at least ten years of his life, if not more.

"In my father's family ,being the second spiritual key is something that has been passed on for many generations. When I was Saya's age I had been targeted by the Vandenreich. My family had been protected by the Adachi clan for as long as my father knew of and had I known Haruki Adachi since we were children. He had fought off the the Vandenreich and my father had us move to a new town when Haruki and I married. My father didn't want me to be a target again if any of my children became the key. Neither Megumi or Ken were the keys and I thought the curse I felt I had would end with me. I was sad when Saya had became the key. Her father knew he had to protect Saya and he did his best to keep his little girl protected even if it was at the cost of his and his wife Junko's lives." Kyoko said and wiped the tears from her eyes. She knew Megumi and Saya's friends would do the same to keep Saya safe, but she prayed that it would never come to that.

" Of course I'm okay with it." Hoshi said with a smile.She knew there was plenty of room for the both of them in the room, since the rooms in the house were a little bigger than a standard Japanese home. Hoshi didn't have much furniture outside of her bed, a dresser, bookcases and desk, plus the small table that had been her mom's She knew they would be fine here, since it helped her feel safer and she could protect Katia if needed.

" Ichigo. I do have an idea why your hollow side flares up whe never you family and friends. Its the protective side of you that knows that you care about your family and friends."Urahara said. He knew how much Ichigo did care about his friends.

Ishida listened, surprised that other members of Saya's family had been the second key as well. After her tale was done, Ishida promised to protect Saya to the best of his ability, causing Saya to blush lightly at that promise from him.

"Thanks. I just wanted to make sure," Katia responded with a small smile of her own, especially since she had a small nightmare about Hoshi not wanting her to move into the room with her. She knew it wasn't a vision, but it still felt real. She was glad that her cousin was alright with her moving into the same room. She was glad that Hoshi's room could house both beds and other such various nick knacks.

"That sounds quite interesting..." Ichigo said after Toushiro had left. He was curious as to why his Hollow would care though, and asked as such.

Kyoko smiled." Thank you so much." Kyoko said. She knew that once the Vandenreich were gone, Saya and the others would finally be safe." Is there anything I can get for either of you? I'm going to take a nap before I start dinner, so feel free to watch tv or a movie." Kyoko said. She wanted both Saya and Ishida-san to have a good afternoon.

Hoshi nodded wondering if Katia had nightmare. Hoshi seemed to get those too, when she didn't have a vision. She had a feeling those were the only types of dreams Seers were able to have." What sounds good for lunch?" Hoshi asked.

" Well, your hollow is a part of who you are and knows how think and knows who you care about." Urahara said, since he felt Katniss's hollow worked the same way . He knew she was very determined to get Rue back safely from the Vandenreich.

"Saya-chan's a friend, and a good one at that," Ishida responded, knowing that with the Vandenreich gone Saya would be safe. "I'm fine, thank you Kyoko-san," Ishida said wishing her a good nap.

"I know it's not healthy, but I want to try some ramen, if you don't mind making it," Katia said, having a feeling that Hoshi knew she had a nightmare and wondered if she wanted to hear about it.

"So Katniss's Hollow would care about getting Rue back because Katniss cares about her?" Ichigo asked.

Kyoko nodded and went to her room to take a nap. She hated it that she got tired eaisaly these days and knew it came with getting old.

" Would you like to watch tv or a movie?" Saya asked. She wanted to relax a bit before tomorrow's training and wondered why Ichigo's reiastu felt different.

" Sure. We have some Ramen mixes in the cupboard and I'll make one of those. Are you Okay Katia-chan?" Hoshi asked feeling concerned. She knew how bad a nightmare could get and they seemed so real.

" Correct. It's still just an idea, but it's good to discuss these things." Urahara said with a grin.

"It depends. What type of movie did you have in mind?" He asked out of curiosity. He wasn't going to sit through a chic flick or something similar to that.

"I had a nightmare..." Katia admitted softly.

Ichigo nodded as well with a small smirk on his face before turning to Naomi and asked if she was ready to go home.

" Howl's Moving Castle? I haven't seen that one in a while or how about Finding Nemo?" Saya suggested. She liked some of the American movies that came out and Pixar had some good films ,and Miyazaki films were always a good back up plan.

Hoshi gave Katia a hug." I hate nighmares too. They are so real. When dad started teaching me to be a Seer, he said that Seers only can have visions or nightmares. He said he didn't know why that was, but it's how our minds work." She said hoping to help her cousin.

" Yep I'm ready." Thank you again Urahara-sensei and it was nice to meet you Yoruichi-san. " Naomi said with a smile.

" You are very welcome Naomi-chan. Hope to see you again soon." Urahara said with a smile. He knew he would be seeing more everyone since he knew this peace would be over sooner or later. He knew everyone had to be ready for when it did end.

"Howl's Moving Castle works," Ishida said with a smile. "It's been a long time since I've seen it, it would be good to see it again," Ishida replied with a grin.

(You know, this is starting to seem like a date...)

"It was nice to meet you as well Naomi-chan," Yoruichi responded with a smile, glad to have met her, knowing that she would see her again. After seeing Ichigo and Naomi leave, she sighed lightly. "This peace isn't going to last, is it?" She asked Kisuke softly.

"So...what did you think of Kisuke and Yoruichi Nam-chan?" Ichigo asked as they headed home.

( Sorry about that. )


Saya smiled and put the movie in the player. She hoped her grandma didn't think this was a date at all,since Saya knew it was just two friends enjoying a movie together.

" I don't think it is, but I don't know how long the Vandenriech want to wait before they make their next move. It could be days or it could be weeks till they attack again. We'll just have to see if Hoshi or Katia have any visions that might indicate something. " Urahara said.

" I thought they were nice. Urahara seems a little bit mysterious , but Grandpa is that way too when he has a lot going through his head. Thank you for introducing then to me. I was glad to finally tell someone about that day. " Naomi said with a small smile.

(It's no problem. Was just noting facts. If you want to continue with that, then it's fine by me.)

Ishida waited for Saya to put the movie into the player, wondering if this counted as a date or not. 'Then again, right now, we're just friends,' he thought to himself. As the movie started, Ishida sat down next to Saya.

"You have a point, as always," she said with a small sigh. However, she did have a feeling that something would happen during Naomi's graduation, she just didn't know what.

"Ren-jiji is like that as well? Oh dear," he said jokingly as he thought of another person who acted like Urahara Kisuke. "One Kisuke is enough, thank you." He said, glad that his cousin was able to tell someone about that day that caused her to fear Shinigami as a whole.

Saya was glad to have company and smiled. She usually watched alone and was glad to have a friend around. Though, she did have a slight crush on Ishida, but wouldn't admit it if someone did ask her about it.

" Thinking something might happen during Naomi's graduation ? I sense the change in Karin-chan too. I have a feeling that might be when the Vandenreich will strike. I think they will be out matched considering who's going to be here. " He said solemnly and paused for a while . " You probably want to know how I know the Isobe family don't you pussycat? " Urahara said with a smile. He knew she was as curious as the cat she liked to be. Urahara had a feeling Sunday would be the day when Karin and possibly Ichigo unlocked their Quincy abilities.

Naomi laughed at the comparison. " I'm glad Captain Hitsugaya knows about your Quincy heritage Ichigo. I have a feeling that him knowing will help most of the Captains accept that fact. I can tell you that your powers will be like your mom's , since her's were like what grandpa's are. They are more the regular Quincy abilities with some of the Vandenreich thrown in. Dad , Daisuke and I can do what grandma's family has been able to do for the last 300 years. Our powers aren't typical of what Quincy can do, but that doesn't mean typical Quincy are not able to do those powers. Just like the three of us can do what all Quincies can do." Naomi explained a little. She hoped he would ask her what her abilities were, knowing that asking questions was important for a Quincy to do.

Ishida watched the movie with Saya, glad that he decided to come over and see if she was okay. He was extremely worried about her, especially after being found out that she was one these keys. 'Though, it's a good thing that she's actually okay and not all fangirl-ish like some other girls I know,' he thought to himself, knowing that because of his feminine abilities, he was sought after by many of the females.

"Just don't forget that this 'pussycat' still has her claws, my mad scientist," Yourichi said with a flirtatious grin. "Although you are right, I was thinking that something might happen during Naomi's graduation on Sunday. It's too big of an opportunity for the Vandenreich to pass up," she said. A few seconds later she added, "And yes, I was curious as to how you know the Isobe family."

Ichigo grinned when he heard Naomi laugh and chuckled himself, glad that she was enjoying herself. "Yeah, Shiro-kun is one of the few captains that I can fully trust to watch my back, although Byakuya can be alright, if you can get past his 'I'm-holier-than-thou' attitude," Ichigo said before listening to Naomi speak about their abilities as a Quincy. After she was done, he wondered what her abilities were and asked.

" Thanks for coming over Ishida-san. It means a lot to me. " Saya said with a smile. She liked it that her new friends knew what she could do and that she didn't have to hide her powers from anyone.

Urahara grinned, glad things were going good between him and Yoruichi. " Well, I had known Eriko's family, the Higashi's for a number of years before I met Ren Isobe. One day,Eriko's twin brothers came in with a badly injured man saying that he was a Vandenreich, but had witnessed his supposed comrades hurting one of their own. Ren won't speak of why they were doing that to him.It took Ren a while to heal and trust the people who saved him. Eventually, he and Eriko married and had Misaki and Kenji. It was when their children were 4 and 5, when the Vandenreich came back for Ren. He did go back, but had a plan to get his belongings and to make them pay for the way he was treated and escaped to be with his family. He said once he found out the reason his father joined he understood how evil the Vandenreich could be. He and I have kept in contact over the years and he feels terrible for the last 8 years. He said staying away form his daughter's children was one of the hardest things he has done, but says he did so to keep them safe. " Urahara said . "

Naomi smiled."Grandma's side of the family are considered Elemental Quincies. They are not very common, but they are still around.Some Quincies don't accept that Elemental Quincies can do the standard moves of a Quincy. Most of our attacks are based on ice, fire, poison, and shock arrows. Dad prefers the fire arrows and Dai-chan prefers the shock arrows. My arrows are poison ones, but I can use the ice arrows pretty good. Grandma says that the type of arrows we use fits our personality. I think the reason mine are poison arrows is because of my past fear of Shinigami. To humans, the poison isn't deadly, but you might throw up if you get hit by one. But if a Hollow gets hit, it will kill it." Naomi said hoping that Ichigo didn't think their powers were strange.

"You're welcome," Ishida replied, glad to enjoy time with one of his friends during this time of peace. He knew that it would most likely not last much longer and vowed silently to himself to protect Saya no matter what the cost, even if it was his life.

Yoruichi scowled once she heard the story of what happened to Ren. "And they never got the reason why they were attacking him in the first place?" she asked once his story was done. She was glad that he had helped Eriko and her family nurse Ren back to health. "Now then, why is this the first time I'm hearing about it?" She asked out of curiosity.

"Elemental Quincies, huh? That actually sounded interesting..." Ichigo said in wonderment after listening to Naomi explain her powers and the powers of her family. "So why can you also use Ice Arrows, according to what grandmother says," Ichigo asked. Although he wondered what would happen to a Vizard or an Arrancar should one of her poison arrows hit them.

"Hope you two are having fun. " Kyoko said after she had gotten out of bed. She needed to get dinner on the stove so it would be ready when Megumi got home later. She wondered if Ishida-San would like to stay,but assumed he would be heading home soon.

" I assume Eriko knows, but I understand why Ren never told me. I have a feeling it had something to do with his father dying and him getting revenge over the death of his mother, but that's what I've assumed. You never asked me before now. Usually you do, and I thought it was strange that you didn't ask about Ren. I'll introduce him when he comes over on Saturday." Urahara said.

" I've never liked having poison arrows. I wanted to be like grandma when I was younger so I trained to use ice arrows. I think you are safe since you are only part hollow. It only works on full hollows. " Naomi explained and heard her phone ping. " Grandma wants to know what you and your sisters like to eat. " Naomi said reading the e-mail. " You could message her. I know she would be thrilled to get a message from you. " Naomi said with a smile.

"We are, thank you," Ishida responded to Kyoko's question, hoping that she had a good nap. Getting a text from his father he frowned lightly, especially since the text said he was going to have to be working late tonight. Sighing lightly, he put the phone back into his pocket.

"This was during the time when Aizen was trying his experiments and all that good stuff, so I probably forgot to ask, that and/or I was doing clan business at the time, it was probably one of those two things that made me forget to ask like I usually do," she said with a shrug. "It would be nice to meet one of your friends, especially since he's related to Ichigo.

"So does that mean you have a frosty personality?" He asked jokingly as they headed closer to home. He was glad that the poison in her arrows wouldn't affect him, Katniss or any of the other Vizards was good news. "I could, but I don't know her e-mail address," he admitted, answering her question with what he liked: Anything that was spicy.
