Naomi smiled and took care of the other trash ,rejoining Ichigo and Rukia a short while later. Ready to go you two? There's an apartment close to here it seems. " She said looking at the flier again.

"I haven't gotten far enough to do it at will, not yet anyways. My blade heals whatever it hits and then takes that damage and fills up a small gauge. That was at half strength," Hanataro explained.

"Thanks Naomi," Ichigo replied as she got back to their table as both explained they were ready to go. He was interested in what the apartment nearby looked like.

( I agree. It's going to be an interesting rest of the season. I'm sad that Fringe is ending this week. :(It was a good 5 seasons and 5 seasons is pretty good for a scifi show on network tv. Still wish firefly and Dollhouse had done better, but there's S.H.I.E.L.D to look forward to, just as long as Joss Whedon doesn't kill anymore characters I like.)

He was glad Squad 0 hadn't arrived yet , knowing he might be in a little trouble with Hikifune , if she asked who was running Squad 12 these days. He inwardly grinned , knowing Kurotsuchi would have his hands full when met the other predecessor of his." How about we start on Shunpo? That in it's self will give you good control. It's a little difficult at first , but with each attempt , you will get better. " Urahara said.

" It doesn't look too bad does it?" Naomi said when they arrived. It was just a little ways from the cafe ,and was on a nice looking street , that had several businesses on it. " Let's see if we can take a look inside and see how much room it has." Naomi said. She wanted enough space so she could move around without running into something. Her last apartment had been very cramped and had barely enough room for her bed , table and her bookcases, not liking running into the bookcase to get to the bathroom at night.

(I never got into any of those shows to be honest, and I've never even heard of Dollhouse, but you're right, at least there's S.H.E.I.L.D. to look forward to...but until then, there's Being Human, Once Upon a Time and other good shows)

"I've never tried it on buildings to tell you the truth," Hanataro admitted, not having even though about it. He had heard that Shunpo would help with his control and hoped that it was true. He heard Urahara and hoped that it wasn't as difficult as it seemed. Although seeing Yoruichi nod lightly as well made him a little concerned.

Ichigo nodded at Noami's assessment of the apartment. "It looks pretty good actually," Ichigo admitted after looking around.

( I like Being Human:) . And Grimm in March and WH13 and Doctor Who in April . Sadly I'm going to need to find a new site to watch Doctor Who. : ( I think the one I found has been shut down. )

" Urahara said and slowly demonstrated how to begin. " Just start by putting a little bit of your Reiastu as you work your feet to move quickly. " He instructed.

Naomi talked to the landlord and was let inside the apartment to look . She was happy it had enough space and had a washer and dryer that came with it. She had hated going to the laundromat each week since it could get expensive. . She thought the bathtub was a little small, but it didn't matter since she liked showers the best." Do you think I should take it?" Naomi asked Ichigo and Rukia as they looked with her. She looked at the other apartments in the flyer and they didn't seem as centrally located as she would have liked.

Hanataro nodded as he listened to Urahara tell him about Shunpo and watched as Urahara used the technique, going slow for his benefit. Focusing his reiatsu, he moved his feet. Opening his eyes, he was surprised that he moved a few feet in his first attempt.

"I think you should take it. I saw the other apartments on your list and none of them are as close to the clinic as this one is," Ichigo said.

Urahara grinned."Great job! Now try to do the same thing again,but try to go a little faster. " He suggested. He had a feeling that Hanataro was going to do just fine.

" All right I will. I can't wait to get my stuff in here. I hate that it's all in storage till I get a place. " Naomi said and went to talk to the landlord. They agreed on a move in date and Naomi paid the money for the first months rent and a deposit. She was glad she had worked those extra hours, since the left over money would pay for the moving crew. " Anyplace either of you want to go?" Naomi asked both Ichigo and Rukia. She had just contacted the moving crew and her things would be in tomorrow." So tomorrow I move in and meet your other friends and Saturday , my family is going to be here. I should warn you about my dad Rukia. He tends to like to fight those he thinks will be challenge. " Naomi said and inwardly sighed. She hoped her dad wouldn't get into any trouble while he was here. " I'm so glad things are going so well, but it does make me feel uneasy. " She said , having a feeling that the Vandenreich were going to make an appearance in the near future.

"Thanks," Hanataro replied as he tried it again, getting it down faster this time around. He was actually somewhat surprised by how fast he was getting the hang of Shunpo, but had a feeling that it was because of his medical training that caused him to do so.

Ichigo chuckled lightly at how excited Naomi was and was glad that she was able to get the place. His chuckle turned into full laughter as Rukia sighed lightly at the mention of how Naomi's father acted. Once getting himself back under control, he grinned as he asked what Zaraki would think about that, unsure of how to answer Naomi's question since he really didn't have any place to be or any place he wanted to go to...at least at the moment.

" Great job! " Urahara said and wondered if it was Hanataro's medical training that was helping him learn Shunpo." Let't try to incorporate Shunpo in a fight. It comes in handy when the enemy is slower than you are." He said.

" I'm not sure, but I hope dad tones it down a bit.I think I know why he is the way he is." Naomi said." He hated being ridiculed by other Quincies he met for his abilities as an Elemental Quincy. I guess he's always felt he's had to prove that he's just as good as everyone else." Naomi explained. She wasn't sure where she wanted to go now that she had a place to live. She wanted to find a crafts store , but would look in the phone book, or ask Yuzu where there was one." We could head to the little park by the river. It's relaxing there." She suggested, remembering that Ichigo had liked the place. She felt they did need to relax and enjoy the peace while it lasted.

"Thanks," Hanataro said with a grin. Now all he had to do was perfect his shikai and then he would feel as if he could at least start helping everyone else out more.

"Elemental Quincy?" Rukia asked, confused as to what Naomi meant by that.

Ichigo nodded at the idea of the park and knew that Naomi would answer Rukia's question, especially since it wasn't his to speak, just yet anyways.

" How about we rest a little bit. I want to get a program ready that will help you work on your Shikai. Also having a good relationship with your Zanpaktou spirit is a good thing to have." Urahara said. He had a feeling Harataro would be needed once the fighting did start.

My Grandma's family are known as Elemental Quincies. They are not very common, but they are still around.Some Quincies don't accept that Elemental Quincies can do the standard moves of a Quincy, since of our attacks are based on ice, fire, poison, and shock arrows.We are also are able to do the standard moves of regular Quincy. Our element is based on our personalities. My dad's is fire based, my brother's is shock based, and mine is poison and ice based. I've been a very fearful person ever since I was 7 and also can be a bit too serious at times. " Naomi explained.

Hanataro nodded, which probably explained why he had such a hard time getting into Shikai before, and why it was still so hard now to get it to release it's full power. It was quite rare for his spirit to speak up after all.

"I see..." Rukia exclaimed in wonderment, knowing for a fact that most other shinigami didn't know about that. "Naomi...I don't think even the Shinigami Academy teaches stuff about that...they told us about the massacre, but nothing like this," she said, hoping that she didn't bring up any bad memories by mentioning the past.

" How about you talk to your spirit? I know you possibly have before since you have shikai. Maintaining a good relationship builds trust between the wielder and the sword." Urahara said knowingly.

" I don't think they would know. I'm not even sure if the Captains know about the Elemental Quincy. According to my Grandma Eriko , Elemental Quincy have only been around 300 years and are rare to find. Other Quincy can learn how to use the elements, but even then the Quincy don't know much about us. Naomi said." Grandpa Ren said that the reason the whole massacre started was because of the Vandenreich. They started to over hunt hollows so the realms began to collapse. Us regular Quincy were blamed ,even if we had been willing to give up fighting hollows all together. Some families did give up their abilities , just so they could keep the younger members safe. Mostly, we only fight hollows to keep ourselves and family safe. We also feel we provide help for the shinigami when they can't get to the hollows. We mostly want to feel accepted by the Shinigami and work toward being allies with them. We are all Humans. Human, Hollow , Seer, and Quincy. And other spiritual groupings that might not be known yet. " Naomi added , remembering what her grandparents had taught her. She didn't dare mention the Grimm, since even the Quincy feared them. This was her way of preparing Ichigo for his training. Talking about the massacre didn't scare her, since she knew it was important to know.

(You do realize that by mentioning the Grimm, we should eventually bring Nick in to the RP. and omg Dust: An Elysian Tail is an AWESOME game and I wants a sequel)

"Wow..." Rukia said after Naomi finished her impromptu history lesson, surprised at how much they didn't know when it came to Quincies. "Why does it always have to come back to the same person or group of people? First it was Aizen...now the Vandenreich," she said with a sigh.

( I know. Sorry. I still think those reapers in Grimm would make some bad ass hollows when they die. I'd hate to see our favorite Blutbad and Grimm to be targets if they did come back as hollows. I thought of the one hollow that appeared early on in the series of Bleach during that episode of Grimm for some reason. How about strange attacks in Portland prompt Soul Soiciety to send some Shinigami to investigate. Though, they would need someone who is familar with America to go along for the mission. Me and my plot bunnies are not good to have around sometimes. That game does sound interesting. Been playing Mario kart again. )


" Maybe that's just how he is. But if you do keep talking to him , he might open up a little bit. It never hurts to try. "Urahara said encouragingly.

Ichigo agreed with Naomi, but knew that with Ren-jiji's help they would be able to overcome the Vandenreich. "Now then, how about we go to the park like Nam-chan here suggested?" He asked with a small grin, hoping that the park would brighten everyone up, which was why Naomi most likely suggested it.

( Sure.:) I'll probably will just write out that idea to get it out of my head.)

" How do you think I should go about this next round of training for Hanataro? "Urahara asked both Yoruichi and Soi-fon. He hoped the young Shinigami was able to make some progress with his Zanpaktou.


" Sounds great." Naomi said with a smile.She was glad she would have some time to relax before things got busy again. She smiled when they were getting close to the park.

"Hiso-kun, I need to speak with you...please answer," he said, hoping that his spirit would answer. If he didn't, he wasn't sure if he could advance any further...either with his spirit or his position in life.

"He really needs a backbone," Soi-fon stated bluntly, knowing that it was true. She just hoped that there was a way to do so without actually having to kill him or almost kill him. While she wouldn't admit it, she knew that Hanataro was indeed stronger than he looked.

Hisagomaru turned to see his wielder here and was a bit surprised." Hello." He said glad that Hanataro was confident enough to talk to him.

" I agree, but I know Capatain Unohana always has a reason for doing things." Urahara said and had a feeling Unohana saw that Harataro had potential.

Hanataro was glad that his spirit answered him. "I need your help..." he admitted.

"The question though, is what? You and I both know Unohana's true nature Kisuke," Yoruichi said.

" With your confidence? I know how you feel when you fight and I wonder if you doubt me. I know you are capable of great things. Just trust in what I can do and also trust in what you can do while you heal and fight." Hisagomaru said. He wanted Hanataro to trust him.

" I'm thinking she wants to bring Squad 4 back to what it once was. They were both strong healers and fighters at one time, and I know now they tend to get made fun of at times these days ." Urahara said, wondering if Unohana would reveal her true self when the Vandenreich showed up again.

"In a word: yes. There has to be a way to not have to heal people in order to hurt our enemies," Hanataro said. "I trust you, I do. But..." he started to add

"What are you two talking about?" Soi-fon asked, confused.

" But what?" Hisagomaru asked feeling concerned. He did have a way to fight without healing people, he just wanted to be sure Hanataro trusted him first.


" Well I'm not sure you know already. " Urahara said sweating a little. He wondered how many of the younger captains knew Unohana's true nature. " You do realize Capatain Unohana is known to be quite the fighter and that being a healer is just one of her many talents. " Urahara said feeling very uncomfortable. He didn't want to be talking about Unohana in case she did stop by today, since even he was still scared of her.

"But...do you think we're good enough to go through with all of this?" Hanataro asked his spirit.

Soi-fon frowned lightly at that. "I wouldn't be asking if I already knew, wouldn't I?" she asked, knowing all of that from before, although she could sense that Urahara had fear for Unohana. "If you're not willing to answer that question, let me ask another one: What did she do to make you fear her as such?" She asked.

" I do think we are good enough. I promise you when you fight again, I'll let you use a new attack. I want us to be able to fight and be confident we are strong. And please visit me more. I like it when you visit me, even if I don't say anything." Hisagomaru said.


"Well, she did scare me into going to Squad 4 after the battle of Aizen. I was injured, but I knew it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. She did want to make sure I was fine and I did argue a little bit. She gave me a very scary look that convinced me to listen to her. " Urahara said.
