Soi-fon giggled, knowing what it was like to get that look from Unoohana-sama. "That sounds like something she would do," she finally said.

" You are welcome Hanataro-kun. I know we will be able to accomplish much. " Hisagomaru said with a smile. He was glad his wielded cared about him.

"I understand why she hasn't fought in so long, but I know there will be a time that she will need to fight again. " Urahara said.

" You guys having fun?" Naomi asked both Rukia and Ichigo. She was enjoying talking to them as they sat by the river. " It feels strange being on this side. I would often go to the park on the Naruki side and wonder how you and your sister were doing. She knew now was the right time to make things right.

"Coming from you, I believe it," Hanataro said before leaving his mindscape, for the time being. Seeing the other three talking, he wondered what they were talking about.

Ichigo chuckled lightly at what Naomi said, though he was glad that she felt the way that she did. "I am. It's actually nice to not have to worry about anything every once in a while," he said.

" It is. I know getting in the swing of being a doctor will take some time to adjust , but I'm not worried. " Naomi said. She was looking forward to the learning experience. " Ichigo, Daisuke wants to know what sort of things you like to do. He likes video games and guitar stuff. Dad says having hobbies is a good thing, since it helps build confidence. "Naomi said as she looked at her email.

Urahara sensed that Hanataro was awake and turned toward the young man. " How did it to?" He asked.

"You also have to deal with the fact of moving in to a new apartment as well, and it wouldn't surprise me if Satoshi-kun asked you to marry him at some point," Ichigo said as he thought about what he liked to do in his spare time. "I play a few games, although I also read more than play games, so I'm sure Dai-kun and I will have something to talk about," Ichigo added.

"Just like how you're going to ask Tatsuki out on a date one of these days?" Rukia teased, causing the young man to sputter in response.

"It went well," Hanataro admitted.

Naomi blushed a little." Actually, me and Satoshi have been talking about getting married the last few times we've talked. "She said. Naomi had noticed Satoshi had been quieter than usual, wondering if he was going to ask her soon." Dai likes reading too, but I'm not sure exactly what he reads these days. He had been reading some older series and some popular ones. I like reading too. I think I'll have more boxes of books than of anything else." Naomi said with a laugh..

" That's good. Are you ready to train or would you like something to eat first? It is sometimes a good idea to eat after a talk with ones Zanpaktou spirit, since it can take up a lot of energy. " He said feeling a bit hungry himself, it had been a while since breakfast.

"What's Satoshi-san like, if you don't mind me asking?" Rukia asked, glad that something positive was going on while all this craziness was happening.

"I'll have to ask him what he likes to read then, and what he's currently reading right now when I see him next I suppose," Ichigo replied once he got his composure back. He was going to have to get back at Rukia for that jab, but he couldn't do it now...

"I think food sounds like a good idea," Hanataro replied.

"He's kind, and can get a bit protective of me. I think that has to do with me hitting my head when I was 7 and him thinking I was dead. He's funny and a loyal friend. I never expected him to accept me after he found out I was a Quincy ,and am grateful that he does understand why I choose to be one.I accept him being a soldier, knowing that's been his dream since he was a boy. He has 2 older sisters, so he does know how to cook and sew. He likes my family, because it gives him a chance to be a big brother to Daisuke and I know my family likes him." Naomi said with a big smile.

" How about we head on up and I'll help make some ramen for us all." Urahara said with a smile. He was liking cooking very much, since he was learning cooking was a science in itself.

"He sounds a little like Ichigo," Rukia muttered.

"Sounds like a good idea," Hanataro replied with a small smile of his own.

" You could say that. Satoshi thinks he hasn't met a Shinigami before and wants to meet one while he is here. Though, he doesn't know about Uncle Isshin or Ichigo being one. " Naomi said.She had known since she was a child that her uncle was a Shinigami , but wasn't afraid of him. She had known somehow he wouldn't hurt her, like she had felt Aizen would have.

" Would you ladies like some ramen too?" He asked Yoruichi and Soi-Fon. He assumed the two would like to catch up a bit before lunch.

As he was doing paperwork, Isshin sneezed lightly. 'I wonder who's talking about me? Perhaps Naomi-chan?' he thought to himself as he finished the paperwork, glad that she was able to get a job.

"He won't freak out about you being shinigami, or try something stupid once he finds out that we're shinigami?" Rukia asked, remembering that Naomi said he was a little overprotective of her.

Both Yoruichi and Soi-fon nodded at the question since it had been a while since both ladies had eaten.

" He won't freak out. He understands about what Shinigami are. Grandpa has taught Satoshi a few things to protect himself and does have a power of sorts. He can manipulate his energy into solid shards that can distract a hollow long enough for him to get away. I know Satoshi will go someplace safe when things get bad." Naomi said.

" I'll head up the ladder and if should be ready in about 30 minutes. That will give you two some time to catch up a bit. " He said since Hanataro probably would be coming with him.

"Would you like some help?" Hanataro asked, having a feeling that it would be better to help Urahara than listen in on the two females catching up.

"That's an interesting technique, actually" Rukia said, thinking of Orihime and her flowers. "It sounds like Orihime shield techniques..." she said, seeing Ichigo nod as well.

"It sounds interesting," Ichigo replied, glad that Satoshi wouldn't try attacking them or doing something stupid if/when he found out there were shinigami around.

" Sure you can. I'll let you head up first. . " Urahara said with a smile.

" It's interesting to see. " Naomi said remembering that Ichigo had told her about Orihime's and Chad's powers. " Grandpa wanted to continue his father's work to help the spiritually aware humans be able to protect themselves. Grandpa Ren said he had once been told by his father that his mother Hanae had a power. Grandpa was never was sure about what the power was , since his father rarely talked about his late wife. My great grandma was the only one out of 3 girls to make it to adulthood, but her own life had been cut short at the age of 21. " Naomi said.

Hanataro nodded and went up the ladder first. After he got up off the ladder, he moved to the side so that Urahara could get up.

"What happened to her?" Ichigo asked, quite curious. He was glad that Satoshi wouldn't be a problem when he and the others came to town and hoped to meet them again soon, especially since it had been forever since he last saw them. "I'm glad that Ren-jiji wants to help like that," he said with a grin as he remembered how he got Chad to help fight

" The Vandenreich killed her,but how she died, I don't know. I don't think grandpa knows how she died either. Grandpa believes the Vandenreich had been keeping an eye on his father for many years and had waited to talk to Akihiro until he had a child,but knew that Hanae stood in the way. Grandpa says it's common for the Vandenreich to mostly target Quincies that have young children ,so they can test their loyalties. Grandpa doesn't talk much about his years in the Vandenreich,and I know he has much anger toward them, because of the pain they have caused our family and for so many other Quincy."Naomi said.

Urahara soon followed and helped to make lunch. He was wondering who else would be showing up in the next few days and made a mental note to be ready for them when they did. He had a feeling they would need all the help they could get.

Once the males left, Yoruichi turned to her old apprentice. "So, what have you been up to since the last time I've seen you, Little Bee?" She asked.

"Bastards, they're bastards and cowards," Ichigo growled out after hearing Naomi. How could someone break up a family like that?

" I have been my squad for an impending attack from the Vandenreich. Also been waiting for word on when Squad 0 will be arriving. I heard they want to wait and see what happens with the Vandenreich before they arrive. Also something very interesting happened the last few days. We had a vote about working with the Quincy and surprisingly most of the captains agreed. Kurotsuchi was absent , and I hear very upset that we did mostly agree, but it still is unclear if there will be an official alliance. " Soi-fon said. She had been a bit wary about this agreement, but if what they had been told was true, there was a chance to some sort of agreement.

" They are. Grandpa says the same thing too. I know everyone is excited to see you guys again." Naomi said looking at her watch." I sort of want to get back to the clinic. I want to get some paperwork done before my things get here. Need to transfer my mail to my new address." She said. She had the cards in her bag and would send them out when she went to her apartment tomorrow.

"Really? That does sound like something Kurotsuchi would do, but he'll get over it, and if not I'm sure the person who knew Kisuke before being promoted to the Zero Squad can straighten him out," Yoruichi replied, glad to hear that her friend was doing alright.

"Well I'm sure it will be a great reunion, as long as our dad don't act like idiots. Although, that within itself would be a great accomplishment," Ichigo replied with a sigh. He knew that the man could be serious when he wanted to, but that was far and few in-between.

"I have a feeling she could. If not her, one of the other members will. " Soi-fon said with a grin, knowing the 12 th division captain did need some major straightening out. Soi-fon paused for a moment. " I am concerned that Coin and Snow will do what they can to capture Hoshi-San and her cousin Katia-San once the Vandenreich attack again. I know the girls will want to fight , but the captains all agree that they will be vulnerable if they do fight. I think there is fear that there are few Seers left, considering some of the information Aizen had about them. We have guards at the hospital where Jessica's parents are, to make sure the Vandenreich don't use them against her. I just hope we aren't too late to save Jessica. " Soi-fon said solemnly and would only tell Yoruichi her deepest concerns.

" If they do , both mom and Grandma Eriko will make them both behave. " Naomi said with a small giggle. She remembered the look her grandma gave when her dad got a bit out of line. " I promise you Rukia that my family isn't too strange. Daisuke is a level headed kid on the most part, but tends to use my dad's fighting style when he wants to. Grandpa Ren might seem a bit gruff at first, but he really is a kind person once you get to know him better. " Naomi said.

"Naomi-san, I've put up with Ichigo for three years and someone exactly like him named Renji for most of my life. I'm sure I can deal with your family," Rukia said, ignoring Ichigo's outburst at comparing him to Renji as she heard about Naomi's family.

"Hoshi and Katia won't like hearing that though, but I can understand their reasoning. Then again, they may still want to fight even if they already know that they're targets," Yoruichi replied as she thought of Katniss. "And what about Katniss? Perhaps we could have her shadow the two, if she agrees to the job, that is," she added.

Naomi giggled a little bit at Ichigo's outburst and stood up.She wanted to get her paperwork done and hopefully get prepared for training with Ichigo and the others tomorrow." Ready to get going? It is getting late and I have a feeling your dad might need my help to get things ready for my first day at work next week." Naomi said, sensing a few more shinigami in the area. She couldn't tell much about them, only that they were stronger than she was.

" That might work, but I assume Katniss wants to help us when we go to rescue Rue and Jessica. I hate to suggest that Hoshi and Katia stay in Soul Society till the fighting is over, but it has been suggested as an option is things get worse." Soi-Fon said, hoping that it wouldn't come to that.

Ichigo nodded in agreement as he noticed that the sun was going down. "Yeah, we should get going," he said in agreement as well, still annoyed that Rukia compared him to Renji of all people. Getting up from the position he was sitting in, he stretched lightly before helping the petite shinigami up.

"True, even her Hollow would want to go rescue her friend and Jessica," Yoruichi replied as she thought of what to do. "If it does indeed get worse, then I'll talk to them, but until then I think they should be training and fighting just like anyone else," she added. She was glad that her friend told her about this.

Naomi kept her guard up as they walked toward the clinic, having the feeling that they were being followed. She didn't feel any hostile energy around the person, wondering if it was someone Ichigo knew. She was glad to see the clinic up ahead just in case they did need to hurry.

" I agree they should. " Soi-fon said as she heard that dinner was done. She was glad t spend time with her friend.

Ichigo noticed Naomi's body become more tense and guarded as they walked out of the park. Sensing around him for a few seconds, he sighed before talking to what seemed like air. "Renji, stop sneaking around for your captain and his sister complex. You're annoying my cousin," he said as a few seconds passed with nothing going on. Waiting for a few more seconds, a red-haired shinigami appeared in front of Ichigo and the others. Softly to Naomi, he told her to relax.
