"That's good to hear. I shudder to think what would happen if neither of them had any official training," he said with a small smile, taking the edge out of his words.

" I do too. Karin's training so far is more basic than what Ichigo's training is, since he already has some experience as a fighter. Karin is doing well and is making good progress."Naomi said with a smile. She was glad that Doctor Ishida approved of both her cousin's training to be a Quincy.

"Also, let me know when the wedding and honeymoon are, so I can put you on paid vacation," he said with a small grin, surprising her that he knew about her engagement.

Naomi was surprised, since she thought only family knew so far. She and Satoshi had agreed to tell thier bosses once they had an official date." I promise I will tell you when it is. Who told you, if I may ask?" She said, having an idea of who it might have said something.

"Isshin told me. He was absolutely giddy when he said it as well. Kisuke also knows since he was in the room at the time, but other than that, no one else should know. Just let me know when the date is when you get everything planned out," Ryuken said with a smile on his face as he was genuinely happy for her.

" I figured it was my silly uncle." Naomi said with a smile." I will. We're thinking at least September or October, since Satoshi would be eligible for a pay raise if it's before November." She said with a smile. She knew what ever date they picked, it would be a wonderful day for everyone in her family." Me getting married is a big deal in my family, since the last wedding was 19 years ago when my Aunt Misaki married Uncle Isshin. I was only 4 then and only remember a little bit about it. "Naomi added

"Any wedding is a big deal, my dear," Ryuken said with a small smile as he remembered his own marriage from long ago.

" I'm excited and nervous at the same time. It's going to be a simple one, but to me and Satoshi it will be exactly perfect. " Naomi said. " I do worry though. I know any children me and Satoshi have will be Quincies like I am, but I want them to live a life with out the fear of being hunted by the Shinigami." Naomi said solemnly. She still wanted to train her future children, knowing that them knowing about their powers and able to control them, would spare them the agony of losing them as an adult.

Ryuken chuckled lightly. "Knowing Kurosaki, he would be one of the first shinigami to protect any of your future children. But you're still young to think of children. I wouldn't worry about it just yet," he said.

" You are right. I tend to worry about the future a lot. " Naomi said and blushed a little bit. " There's still so much about being a Quincy I don't yet understand, but my grandpa says I'll understand in time. " She said. She still was young, and knew she still had to learn the many things her father and Grandpa knew about being a Quincy.

Ryuken chuckled lightly at that. "Naomi-san, we always have something to learn when it comes to being a Quincy, or a doctor for that matter. And don't worry about the future all that much. Yes, it's a good idea to worry a little about it, but if you're constantly thinking about the future, you'll be missing the present," he said after calming down.

" And I don't want to miss the present. I feel I wasted too much of my younger years being fearful and worried, but I now understand when to be cautious and to trust those who I know won't hurt me." Naomi said, thinking back to her fear of Shinigami. She knew there were ones she could trust and ones she couldn't .

"Ren-san told me a little about that and at the time, you were right to be afraid of him. I'm sure that everyone is glad to know that he didn't try anything when he saw you all those years ago," Ryuken responded.

" They are glad. It made Ichigo angry that he did speak to me like that. I also was here when Karakura was in Soul Soicety and glad I wasn't found by Aizen that time. That was how I reconnected with Uncle Isshin. I called him soon afterword and he explained what had happened and learned that Ichigo was a shinigami. To my grandparents it was a blessing in disguise that Ichigo became a shinigami, but I think it was a bit of a shock to them. I don't judge my cousin's for who they are,since I know my powers can be judged." Naomi said. She had been told since she was young, that elemental Quincies had often been judged.

"I've heard that as well, that Elemental Quincies are seen lower on the totem pole when compared to regular Quincies, just like how Vizards are treated lower than regular shinigami for whatever reason. I don't understand why either since Elemental Quincies and Vizards are more powerful than the normal shinigami and quincy. Although with all the power that Ichigo is gaining, he'll be a force to reckon with,"Ryuken said with a chuckle.

" I know Ichigo will. I think Elementals are lower on the totem pole, because of our origins. Grandma always said that the Elemental Quincies are descended from Quincies that became Shinigami and defected back to the Living World at the first signs of a war. She said that's why we can use the elements. I think that's why the Visard are judged too, since they are Shinigami , who have inner hollows. I don't like it that we are judged, since we are all a part of one whole. Grandpa told me that Seers, Shinigami, Quincy , hollows, Visards and even the Bount are all a part of the human race and all keep the world balanced." Naomi said.

Ryuken chuckled lightly at Naomi's ideology but not out of mirth though. "Anyways, that's all I wanted to tell you today, so you're free to go. I know that today's one of your off days, so have fun and enjoy the day Naomi-chan," Ryuken said with a small grin, glad to hear her points of view, especially since he thought that as well.

" I will Doctor. " Naomi said and gave a polite bow before leaving. She was glad that the meeting had gone well and was glad that Doctor Ishida seemed to understand her point of view as a Quincy. She knew every family had different ideologies and traditions and learning more about these differences expanded a Quincies knowledge. She didn't need to work at the clinic today either , it would stop by to help Karin with her training. She would use this time to unpack the res of her things and look at some of the wedding magazines just to get ideas.


Hoshi hoped that everything was alright , since she didn't know if the dream she had was a vision. Katia didn't understand it either and Hoshi wondered if Ichigo did. She dreamed of a place that was always night and had a vast desert, wondering if she had dreamed of Heuco Mundo.

Nel was feeling nervous. She needed to get to the living world without the new Arrancars finding out she was going to betray them. Dodochacka and Pesche agreed with her that Heuco Mundo was in trouble and the Shinigami needed to know about this and knew Ichigo would be able to help her.

Ichigo was relaxing for once, wondering what to do. He rose an eyebrow when he felt his cell vibrate and got it out of his pocket, wondering what was happening. Seeing that the text came from Hoshi, he opened the phone and read the message. 'Why are they dreaming about Hueco Mundo...? he thought to himself before sending a reply message back. After that, he sat up before placing a call to Kisuke.

Kisuke heard his phone ring and was happy to see if was Ichigo. He knew that school had been cancelled for the week due to a serious plumbing problem. " Good morning." Urahara said. He missed Yoruichi , who was in Soul Soicety to help with the questioning of Snow and Coin. She had kept him updated , but the two were not cooperating with anyone .

"Hey Kisuke, it's Ichigo. Can you do me a favor and check on Hueco Mundo? Hoshi-chan just sent me a text saying that she and Katia got a weird dream/vision of the place," Ichigo said, hoping that Nel was okay.

" I would if I could. I haven't been able to use my Kido spell to open a gate long enough. I've been trying to talk to Nel but I can't keep the gate open long enough to enter." Urahara said. He knew Soul Society wouldn't prevent him from talking to an ally.

Nel ran as fast as she could and opened a gargantua in front of her. She jumped though and found herself in Kisuke's training area and had had reverted to her child form, since she had used much energy to make a strong enough gate. She would rest here a little bit, hoping Kisuke sensed her.

"What do you mean you haven't been able to open a gate?" Ichigo asked, knowing that he was able to do it before.

"I haven't been able to hold it for long. I have a feeling that something in Heuco Mundo is trying to keep us out. I'm working on the spell to make it stronger than the one keeping us out." Urahara said and sensed something in the training area. " I need to take care of something that has just come up. I'll call you back." He said, sensing Nel was here .

Ichigo wondered what could cause Kisuke to end the call so quickly like that. Shrugging lightly, he wondered if his friends were doing anything today since school had been cancelled.
