Hoshi nodded. She wasn't going to be nervous since being nervous always made training difficult. She wanted to be good at something and felt Kido was the one thing she would be good at.


" So we start at the bottom and work to the top? I really want to learn this. " Katia said feeling excited.

"Exactly. We start with the bottom and work our way up," Toushiro said with a nod.

Unohana grinned lightly, glad that Hoshi wasn't nervous. "Toushiro-kun told me that I would be training you this week in the arts of Healing. Shall we begin?" the fourth division captain asked.

"I'm ready to begin. " Katia said wondering what the first spell was.

"I'm ready. I know a little bit about healing but not very much. " Hoshi said. Tetsu had taught her the basics but hadn't been able to teach her more at the time.

Tatsuki grinned as she kept up with the other shinigami members of the second division. She noticed that several members were glaring at her, but she didn't let it bother her.

Soi-fon watched as Tatsuki did the morning training with her squad and could see how the Squad was reacting to Tatsuki. She could understand why they would react this way and was glad it wasn't bothering Tatsuki.

Setsuna finished getting things ready for the delivery and hoped it all went well with the delivery. The last thing she wanted to do today was to get in a disagreement with anyone.

Tatsuki was sweating lightly, but glad that she had finished the morning regimen with everyone else. Though she was curious as to what else would happen throughout the day.

Katia was happy she did well learning the first kido spells but knew she needed to be able to focus her reiatsu better as they got harder. " Am I doing okay." Katia asked as they continued.

Toushiro nodded to answer Katia's question, actually glad that she already mastered the first fifteen incantations.

Katia was glad she was doing well. She was practicing the 16th Kido spell and was having a little bit of difficulty. She knew the more she released her Reiatsu the better chance this spell would succeed. She hoped Hoshi was doing well.

Hoshi had been learning more healing techniques and felt she was getting better. She had been resting for a little since Captain Unohana had told her she wanted to teach her something new. Hoshi was wondering what she would be learning.

Tatsuki was surprised when Soi-Fon came to her during the team's break. "Taichou?" she asked, curious as to why she was taking her to the side.

( sounds like fun.)

" You did well this morning. I want to teach you a few things that I feel you would be good at. I want to work on teaching you some things that might come in handy." Soi-fon said.

Hoshi wondered what Captain Unohana was about to teach her." What am I going to learn next?" Hoshi asked.

"Not that I'm extremely grateful or anything, but wouldn't that cause a commotion here?" Tatsuki asked curiously. She was grateful for the training by the captain, she was, but she didn't want to cause any problems if she could avoid it. She liked being the solution to problems, not the problem itself.

"We'll be moving to the next step when it comes to curing wounds, the human body itself. Granted you can only these for shinigami and not regular humans, it would still be a good thing to know," Unohana explained, especially since she knew how reckless her friends were.

" If anyone has a problem with me training you, they can bring it up with me. " Soi-fon said. She already had Yamamoto's permission to train Tatsuki and that was good enough for her.


Hoshi nodded and understood. She knew how her shinigami friends fought and was glad that she would still be useful during the fights.

"Alright. I just wanted to make sure," Tatsuki replied as she awaited whatever the captain taught her. She had a feeling that she was going to enjoy this particular type of training.

Unohana was glad that Hoshi understood why she was teaching her this, and hoped that her cousin was just as easy to teach as well. Even though she was a Quincy, that didn't bother her in the slightest.

Captain Soi-fon started to instuct Tasuki on Kido. She knew these techniques would help Tatsuki gain strength and be a good fighter. Tomorrow she would start to teach Tatsuki about moves that would make her harder to detect. She wanted Tatsuki to be prepared for anything Gin may do.


Katia had learned the first 20 Kido spells and was getting tired. She wasn't use to using so much Reiatsu in a short amout of time. " How am I doing?" She asked. Katia was looking forward to learning some healing techniques tomorrow and hoped they weren't any harder than regular Kido.

Tatsuki struggled to get the kido techniques down, though she knew that Soi-fon wouldn't teach them without a good reason.

""You're doing very well, but I think we should stop for today. You seem to be low on reiatsu," Toushrio said with a tone of concern.

" Thank you for teaching me Captain. " Katia said and was glad to rest for the day. She hoped Hoshi learned as much as she did today knowing her cousin hated feeling useless during fights.

Hoshi was feeling a little tired after this day of training but could feel she was getting stronger. She hoped Katia had as good a day as she was having.

Unohana noticed that Hoshi was tiring for the day and felt it best to finish her training, at least for today. "Hoshi-chan, let's call it a day, alright?"

" Alright. Thank you Captain for teaching me today. " Hoshi said respectfully. She wondered if Tatsuki was here in Soul Society and if they would see each other. Hoshi had a feeling that they wouldn't since that was what Gin expected.


Soi-Fon could see that Tatsuki was getting tired and had her stop for the day. " You did well. " She said.

"You're quite welcome," Unohana said, bowing lightly in return. "It was a pleasure teaching you Hoshi-chan."

Tatsuki slumped lightly in exhaustion, glad that it was over, at least for today. "Thanks," she said with a small grin, too tired to bow lightly to the shorter woman.

Hoshi was glad today had gone well but didn't know who would be taking her back to Squad 10. She remembered the way back, but still felt a bit uneasy here. Hoshi wondered if she would meet the Head Captain while she was here , and couldn't figure why that though had crossed her mind like that.

Matsumoto was waiting around the hospital, being told to wait for Hoshi around this time. 'Taichou really knows me too well...' she thought, remembering how Taichou had said that if she kept an eye on Hoshi while she and her cousin, Katia, were in Soul Society, then he would do all the paperwork, including her share. 'How can I say no to that?'

" Hi Matsumoto-san." Hoshi said when she saw her. She had just said goodbye to Captain Unohana and sensed Matsumoto approach. Hoshi was glad that she would be safe on the way back to Squad 10.

"Hey there Hoshi-chan. Ready to head back?" Matsumoto asked with a smile on her face.

" I'm ready. " Hoshi said with a smile. She had a feeling she would be meeting someone new tonight and wondered who it could be. Hoshi hoped Katia had the same feeling as she did.
